Happy Hour prices were not honored and we were charged full price. It is the bartender's responsibility to make sure the customer is being charged correctly not the customer's job to complain about the overpricing. We are considered regulars and when we are in the area we always stop by for food and drinks. We have had graduations, birthdays and many family events here over the years. I think this is our last time and we will be finding another place to spend our money.

Cedric was amazing as always, have been a patron here for a couple of years now. I've noticed the last 2-3 months be extremely hot and the fans inside somewhat kept it cool if you were in front of them. But tonight, man, no fans were hitting me and it's ridiculous what these workers must be going through. To the point where I strongly believe it was over 85 degrees in there. Might be time to make a phone call to the state and inspectors to check this issue out. Since it seems to be a consistent thing at this place as it was hot as hell last year but fans "held up". This place has been great because of the relationship we've built with Cedric, but tonight might've been the last straw until this AC issue is fixed. RIDICULOUS!

The Cabin Whiskey and Grill is located in the Park West complex in Peoria, right off of the 101 and Northern. Inside the cabin theme is all throughout the restaurant. You're greeted by a standing grizzly and walls of wood. A large bar is the centerpiece with pine trees painted all around, and a stack of cut firewood sits to the side. Outside has another bar as the center with tables and high tops all around the spacious patio. Being a whiskey lover in a whiskey bar, I ordered the blackberry sour and was not disappointed. (It's the closest drink I've found to my favorite Sinatra Smash that serves as the featured drink of the Wynn in Vegas). We shared the torpedos as our app. They are jalapeno poppers but made with the full pepper and come with a spicy dippng ranch. My fish tacos were very good, and the nachos were topped with perfectly grilled flavorful chicken.It's a cool spot for a larger group. It's always a plus for us when the kids have room to move so the adults can enjoy some beverages and conversation. I suggest sunset on the patio with family and friends.

Good burgers, great specials, fantastic service and nice atmosphere. All at an unbeatable price. The value here is enormous. A rare find in today's restaurant market. They hit it all at price. One of the best values in eating out.The burgers are good size with lots of meat. More than you would expect at the price point. That they can deliver good food with top quality service at these prices makes you wonder what everyone else is doing wrong.Recommended!

After being in the area for a while. I finally stopped at the Cabin. I had been reluctant in the past because I felt that the menu was somewhat limited. to pub grub.So finally, here I am. First impressions are that the place is spacious and perfect for gatherings with friends. We were promptly seated near an open roll-up door. It was comforting to see the people enjoying the large outdoor patio with adults, children and dogs enjoying the warm January evening.The only problem that we experienced was when we first arrived. Our server was very slow and inattentive. After 20 minutes of waiting after we were seated, the hostess finally came over to ask if a server had come by. We said no, and she had to go find someone to serve us. She rarely checked on us. Even waiting for our check took a long time.Even though they specialize in Whiskey of all types, I found they have a nice draft beer selection as well. The 32 oz. beer mug was soooo large, I could almost swim in it! Yes, fill er' up! As mentioned previously, the menu is somewhat limited with mostly pub grub offerings. I decided on the fish and chips with poutine. My wife had a lettuce wrapped turkey burger. My fish was light and not oily and my wife said she really enjoyed her turkey burger. Also, the poutine was done right and satisfying.While I wish that the menu was more in depth, what they made, they made well. The ambiance is spacious and warm and I loved those roll up doors. I did see some delicious looking burgers that passed the table. Yes, I think I will have one the next time I am by!

Visted Sunday and wow it was dead!The service was amazing and loved the cauliflower wings but the place had bad airflow it smelled like cigarettes and cigars

I remember when this location was more of a night club a million years ago. Now it mayhem like the right decor for the food they serve but it was not worth at all. I am big on customer service and expect the food to at lest give me some type of positive feeling. However, this particular experience was less than desirable. My family and I decided to stop by for lunch after visiting the farmers market in the adjacent parking lot on a beautiful sunny morning. My husband visited this location when they first opened years back and only had beer and a couple of appetizers. So he really wasn't looking for a big experience. We were able to sit down quickly and after a more than normal wait time, the nice server came over and the first thing she said was, "thank you so much for your patience, it means a lot to me that you are not annoyed or angry". or something similar to the fact that she is already apologizing for poor service as well as long wait times. Instantly tells me that they are not properly staffed and to expect bad service all around. Server proceeded to apologize every tie she came back to take our order because it was always a wait. That's got to be even more annoying LOL LOL that we don't get a chance to mention your poor service because this serve is constantly asking for petty from the terrible service and food??? ALL I CAN DO IS LAUGH NOW!!!I was already to just say forget it, let's go next door, there are plenty of other restaurants within the same parking lot. But we were on a tight schedule to get to our next scheduled plans after lunch.Again, let me be clear, The main dining are was very empty, most of the customers were in the patio. Which still there were plenty of seats. It was a matter of poor management and not enough staff and bad cooks.We place our soda order and that takes forever. Then we place our food order and I wish I would have carefully looked at the menu but they make things sound way better than they really are. After waiting for the food, which I was not complaining about, until my son's food came out first, even though he ordered the exact same thing as my other son. So we are all watching him eat for a bit, then finally his brothers and my husbands food come came out. Then I had to wait for my food, so ridiculous to bring out four simple dishes at different times. That is absolutely annoying at a restaurant. I instantly take pics of everything and let me tell you, I have ordered banana foster waffles at several other restaurants and this was the worse looking one and the worse tasting ever. The bananas were both too green and you could tastes the stale bitterness of them or way to ripe that tasted soggy. The syrup was basically 20 pounds of brown sugar mixed with cheap household pancake syrup. It was so grainy and soooo sweet you could barely eat it. Which I should have taken a pic before we left. The waffles were also soooo stale with ten day old flavor that I took two bites and I pushed my pate aside. Waiting and hoping for the server to come and ask if I liked it or if I wanted a different dish, but nope. She came back once to ask if we needed something and I was so ready to leave at this point I just asked for the check. Server asked if I wanted a box and I clearly said no way. It was not good at all. She ignored my comment and left. I take a look at the bill and this place must be doing so bad, obviously from the empty dinning area and the horrible food that they charged us for ranch. Who the heck charges for ranch when three of the four dishes came with French fries. are you kidding me?. The sodas were stupidly high too. If you see my reviews I am not upset to pay for a well worth meal. Just the other day we went to Le Ame and the bill was four times what this was. TOTALLY worth the price. HOWEVER, this place wants to nickel and dime you for over price soda and ranch???? ARE you kidding me??? the food was so bad. Anyway, needless to say we will not be returning. peace out LOL

The hubs stopped by this Grill today on his way home and picked up an order of nachos with diced chicken. I want to say that over all I found the nachos uninspired and lacked flavor. I know I would not order these again as to me it had no flavor. We did not eat there but the hubs brought home nachos.

No A/C. Power went out right before getting our food. Had to eat in the dark. Soda and beer we ordered were flat. Couldn't pay my bill. No emergency lights. Staff disorganized. If you have a choice don't go here. Unless you like sweating and eating in the dark. Then this place is for you.
