Their Mochiko Chicken and Pork Belly bowls are reaaaaally good. Lots of meat and sauce and flavor. But if you're looking for something lighter, the Teriyaki Chicken and Teriyaki Tofu bowls are also good!! Over the past few months, they've gotten much more efficient at making food and the wait isn't bad. On average, I wait 5-7 minutes.An added bonus is the stamp card -- buy 5 and your next one is free!

A friend recommended this food truck to me, and a few weeks later I finally came across it in SLU. I got the Hawaiian chicken and spring roll combo with a mint pineapple limeade for $12 by checking in on yelp (do it, quite a bit of food, super worth). The chipotle sauce + chicken and rice paired perfectly together.

When Byte came by my husbands work, him and a few coworkers decided to grab lunch. It was pricey, but it smelled delicious.3 of them ordered the Hawaiian chicken bowl and all three were sick within a few hours. A few days later and my husband is still feeling the effects of that food.Yucky.

food was great but was unpleasantly surprised to see 14% surcharge for credit card use. It is called out as "credit card catering". Seriously? :)Updated to 4 stars because they reached out and refunded everything.

Byte Food Truck is a place you must try. The food is outstanding, the crew cooking is nice, and the prices are good. The food is awesome. Everyday I walk down the street to work I look and see if they're on the corner. That's how good it is

They came to an event. Not enough food and so slow. It took 45 minutes to wait in line to order and another 45 minutes to get the food. Add more staff please. The food was fine but the service yikes. The truck needs something to divert the smoke and chemicals coming off the back of the truck. When you finally get close to ordering you are standing in nothing but fumes

I wasn't expecting such good flavor from a simple food truck meal. There is always a line at work when this truck arrives.Both their Hawaiian chicken and Teriyaki chicken are excellent.

Ordered chicken teriyaki lunch plate. $10 and comes with some canned pineapple chunks, a light side of Cole slaw (not a creamy dressing), and steamed white rice. Chicken thigh meat was tender and good portion, but teriyaki sauce was lackluster (no boldness in flavor). Definitely left more to be desired.Service was friendly and food was delivered quickly though!

Ive had both the pork belly and the chipotle chicken rice bowls from Byte- they're both really good.both meals cost 10$ which is pretty reasonable. If you pay in cash they pay for the sales tax.- Hawaiin Chipotle Mochiko Chicken Rice Bowl: taste: The chicken was freshly fried, tender, crispy, with rich flavour. My only issue was it was a tad bit moist and gummy. The sticky rice and ginger cole slaw were great, balanced the meal nicely with fresh vegetables and a contrast to the spicy mayo. The spicy mayo had a bit of room for improvement, i found it a little runny, and without fantastic flavour. Great meal overall.- Korean Sizzling Spicy Pork Belly Rice BowlThe pork was crispy and flavourful. It had a lot of meat on it which was cut into bite size pieces, making for convenient. The spicy sauce was not too spicy; I actually thought it was a bit too sweet, however it did paired nicely with the meat. The rice and coleslaw were fresh and balanced the meal. This was a pretty heavy meal, high in fat and sugar, so be warned.
