Butters Pancakes & Café - Northsight Blvd

I've seen this place several times during breakfast searches on Yelp and I can say with confidence that I am utterly disappointed to have not been coming here for years. Food is fantastic and out before you're even ready for it, service is just as quick and great, and the place is adorable! Sat outside on a summer morning around 11 and they did a great job with cooling and atmosphere! Love it and can't wait to come back.

After a work out with my daughter, we needed some carbs so we walked over to Butters for pancakes, of course! It was a busy Saturday but they do have a mister patio for extra seating. They do not take reservations. Our server was very attentive and friendly. She checked on us often which I appreciate. I also appreciate the carafe of water on the table. The ambiance is nothing special. Ir is kind of like an upscale IHOP and the tables are all very close together with some tiny two top booths. But the food really did make up for it. I had the granola power cakes that had lots of granola and blueberries with a side of their sliced fried potatoes that were nice and crispy brown the way I like them! The pancakes were fluffy and cooked perfectly. My daughter had the veggie scramble with pancakes and she loved hers, too. The veggies were not over cooked and her eggs were cooked to her Liking. Overall the food was great and its a good family restaurant option.

I am a pretty analytical person. When I watch a movie I look to see how they created what they did. I say this because I do the same thing at retail establishments, especially service oriented as I have been in service my entire life. I also have dined at some of the finest establishments in the country. Here is my assessment:1. Facility: Unusual but perfect. The entire service staging area was behind glass but still visual. The POS systems were there in a row, all away from the customers. This is genius as you are no longer listening to the servers talk and complain as they congregate and create bills. You also don't hear the conversations between servers and cooks.2. Food: I asked for an extra egg in my omelet and forgot to request it being "wet." I was expecting a dry overcooked omelet as most restaurants do. It came out perfect. Moist and delicious. So was the Bacon and sausage patties. Especially, the sausage patties. Very juicy and perfectly cooked. Best breakfast I have had, period.3. Julie (my server) was awesome, but it was a team effort. Servers don't just stand there and talk amongst themselves. They patrol the floor looking for empty plates, anyone looking for extra service and cleaning and wiping down booths, walls, etc. Unreal. The training of these servers (mostly young women) will positively affect them the rest of their careers. Discipline in their work ethic will serve them well.After speaking with Brooke, (manager) it is clear they pay attention to details and training usually only found in the finest of 5-Star restaurants. I don't live in Scottsdale but will be sure to eat there every time I am in the area.

The place is clean, bright and very inviting. Staffs are friendly and our breakfast was very satisfying. We have tried a couple places for simple/typical breakfast during this Scottsdale trip and this is the only place that we are happy with and would recommend! I had the Belgium waffle with fresh blueberries, dough is thick and semi-fluffy which it's not heavy. Hubby got the Corn beef hash skillet w/ pancakes, tasty and big portion. For those who seek fresh squeeze juices, they do offer OJ and grapefruit fresh squeeze juice. I also want to shout out to the cleaning staff who thoroughly wipe down the chairs, even chair legs!!!

Very good, very popular. If you want a small, quiet place you might want to choose a different spot but other than that the service was great! The pancake was super yummy, but if you want something more healthy, you won't have a problem as the menu has everything from crepes to eggs. I'll give it a 6/10

This is THE BEST breakfast spot in the valley. Quality is unmatched and top notch. Coffee is great, fresh squeezed orange juice, is a must and the pancakes are to die for. Service is always great, personable and friendly. I have been coming here for years and I have never had a bad experience.The space is bright and always clean. It's safe to say, I love it here!

Literally such a wonderful breakfast! Our waitress was lovely and the food was delicious

This was on a restaurant list provided by our concierge of places that the staff had eaten at. Sol was our server. She was great. Very attentive. Our coffee cups refilled constantly. And on our way out she provided coffees for us to go.We ordered:* hubby had the cinnamon apple brioche French toast* I had the bacon, onions, hash brown skillet with choice of toast or pancakes and two eggs. I went with pancakes and two eggs over hard. Went well with my skillet. We both enjoyed what we had. Our food came quickly once we placed our orders. Everything was on point. Lately I've been only eating half of what I've ordered. This was the case with my skillet. I reheated my leftovers the next morning. Served it like an egg sandwich. Still good. Available parking in the lot.

I FREAKING LOVE BUTTERS!!! First time I went was several years ago visiting a friend in Scottsdale when I lived in another state. I literally dreamt about these pancakes for years. Moved to town and always make sure to stop by when I'm in the area. The portion sizes are pretty generous. We share a savory entree and pay extra to upgrade to the specialty pancake and share that too and it's always enough food regardless how hungry we are.

We come here almost weekly. The food and service are consistently excellent. They pack the tables in a little tight and there is often a 20 minute wait on weekends but we keep coming back for the Salmon Scrambler, Mexicana, and pancakes!
