Butters Pancakes & Café - Hayden Rd

Oh Butters butters butters, how I love your breakfast! My favorite has always been the While Hog Skillet a perfect amount of breakfast meats, cooked to order eggs, and amazing hash browns. Today I tried for the first time the Baked Potato Omelet! Cooked to perfection, soft fluffy eggs and a perfect amount of cheese. The Baked Potato Omelet is my new favorite My other favorites include their fresh squeezed OJ, buttermilk pancakes and the Fried Egg Sandwich. It's always busy when we visit but you will never know it because the staff is always friendly and attentive to your requests.

Our visit to Butters was a real treat! All of our dishes were delicious! The Strawberry Chocolate Chip Pancakes, the Cinnamon Roll French Toast, and the Florentine Benedict were all great choices. I also ordered a side of scrambled eggs which I would skip next time - the texture was strange and they lacked flavor. We received great service and will definitely be back next time we're in town!

A wonderful breakfast stop! I got the Santa Fe Scrambler and it was delicious! Not too spicy and had a nice flavor too it. The pancakes were so buttery! I would definitely recommend getting pancakes with whatever else you get. And their orange juice is fresh-squeezed and super refreshing. The service was good - the staff is super friendly. The restaurant is cute and kept clean. I'd recommend going here for breakfast!

Bookmarked it and saved it! Definitely coming back! Was just in Scottsdale for a week on vacation and so happy to have found this place on Yelp. The food and service were excellent! Despite them having a ton of people waiting, they seated us so quickly on Saturday around noon. The hosts were very nice and so was our server who checked on us regularly. And I wolfed down all my food because it was tasty and perfect. Their iced vanilla latte was delicious as well.Hubs ordered the bacon cheeseburger which was cooked perfectly. He ate all of it.Our 9 year old orders the Cinnamon Roll Mini Cakes kids meal. He ate all of it but I managed to steal a bite and honestly it tasted like a Cinnabon pancake. So good! They even were able to crystallize the cinnamon sugar a bit to give it a little crunch texture.Our 4 year old decided to forgo the kids menu for a Blueberry & Glaze Belgian Waffle. I ate 1/4 of it, had a little crunch, which I love and the batter wasn't bland. I hate when batter isn't flavored at all. Theirs was perfect!I ordered the Mushroom, Spinach and Onion crepe with Hollandaise sauce, and a side of bacon and a side of corn beef hash. I was so happy with the crepe, perfect texture, cooked right and the hollandaise sauce was to die for. Cleaned the whole plate! The bacon I shared with the kids because they love bacon. I ate all the corn beef hash which was wonderful and savory. We loved all of it. Thanks so much! Highly recommend.

Best breakfast restaurant in Scottsdale! Ten years and counting I have been a huge fan of the food and service. I have not tried anything that wasn't delicious.My friend and her daughter were recently here from Chicago. I took them here for breakfast and she said the French Toast here was the best out of the other 2 restaurants we had dined at for breakfast previously. Her daughter was able to get the crepes she wanted too.I tried something different. The Corned Beef Hash Skillet. This was super delicious. The scalloped potatoes were perfect for the hash. I was so glad they weren't shredded. There was plenty of corned beef in and the flavors hit home. This along with the New Mexico Skillet is a must. Let's not forget that thet have the best pancakes ever!

Fantastic and prices are lower than most. We love Butters. Kids menu only $7. But doesn't include a drink. So we got waters for them instead of milk.Their link sausage is the best kind. Really great. They have patties too. Didn't try them. The bacon is thick and high quality. Fluffy pancakes. Good coffee with real cream. Not those messy littie pod things. Highly recommended. Get there before the rush or you will wait.

Finally tried this place, read some good reviews so I thought I give it a try.Went on Saturday around 1130 and wait was about 5 mins. This place was pretty packed. Very nice and clean place with friendly staff.Ordered caffe latte and fresh squeezed orange juice, whole hog skillet, side of pancake, and Irish style egg Benedict. Latte was pretty good and OJ was fresh and tasty. Price is little bit on the high end considering all the extra add on this add on that but portions were pretty good size.I was little bummed they didn't have chicken fried steak but the corn beef hash was pretty good. One of the better corn beef hash I've had in long time. Eggs were poached egg was perfect and the English muffin they used was perfect. The hash brown also was one of the best hash brown I've had. The whole hog was pretty good, good portion of ham, bacon, and sausage. But far as taste nothing stood out. Although calling the plate skillet I expected to come on a hot skillet but not that big of a deal.Now pancake. Oh man. I don't know what they do to make the pancake but it melts in your mouth. Probably one of my top 3 favorite pancake. Waitress was very attentive and nice. Checked on our food several times to make sure things were good. I also noticed the whole wait stuff works as team. Everybody was so attentive and made sure things were good that I kind of forgot who out waitress was.Only negative thing I would say is theee Ole. No hurry but here is your check. When ever you are ready. One of my biggest pet peves dining out is when I get my bill not even half way through my food. They can say no hurry but when you throw bill on my face while I'm stuffing my face tells me you want me to hurry up.Over all staff was awesome food was very good. Definitely would come back here and try some other dishes.

Such a great spot! I never get tired of Butter's. This is the first time I hadn't recognized any of the staff. There are a lot of new faces. They are still doing a great job. Antonio is one of the coolest managers. He really makes a great team leader. Food comes out fast and delicious. We were in the area for a procedure my mom had done. Butter's was the perfect spot to pass some time and fill the kiddo's tummies. I wish I could spend a day in the back learning how they make their eggs and omelets so fluffy, and their breakfast potatoes! Mmmm.... Our family's stopping ground.

10/10 perfect breakfast! The baked potato omelet was interesting and delicious! If you don't mind waiting, Butters is your place! Awesome breakfast food, coffee bar and the best fresh-squeezed orange juice! Service is always great. I can't recommend this place enough and it's worth the long wait!

Great breakfast place . Would recommend it. The food and service was great and the price was more than fair. The potato omelet was huge .
