Butcher Block Meat Market

A butcher shop nestled in the Barrio Logan community. I came to buy a couple of different cuts of meat for an upcoming family barbecue. Loved the meat. It was fresh and tender. It definitely won't disappoint. Limited parking on street but noticed a parking g lot across the street that I can use next time.

Great butcher shop, only a few good butcher shops left in San Diego, they got what you need from pork chops to beef ribs to oxtails to ground beef. All at a reasonable price. You can't go wrong here. Meat is always good. Prompt service. Only street parking available.

EXCELLENT MEATAlways have fresh meat and chciken. They will cut the meat to your request, no extra charge. We had boneless ribeye and it was by far the BEST steak ever eaten. Their prices are low, well below supermarkets. A great little gem in San Diego you will be glad you stopped by.

Being married to a Nigerian in our house we eat a lot of goat meat . Since moving back to SD from LA goat meat was very hard to find. I was very excited to find this place and they had every meat I needed. All the employees were very nice. Since now we have to wear mask everywhere I don't think the employees saw my facial expressions and how happy I was to find goat meat. So, thank you Butcher Block Meat Market!

The lady helping me this morning was the worst she was on the phone and me and my boyfriend were waiting for her to get off the phone she took max 5 minutes on the phone then she finally scanned my items and she didn't even say sorry about that or nothing but I let her be until she told me she was going to charge me a extra fee because I was going to use my card and my purchases was less then $10 I didn't get mad at that I got more mad the way she said it to my boyfriend super bothered never going back here bad customer service.

Great prices on meat! Love this place. Owner just needs to fire the cashier! She's super rude especially if you pay with EBT unnecessary! Tell her she can shove her 10 cents for a bag. Hater!

Been coming here since I was a kid & now I know why my mom loved it so much. They'll cut whatever type of meat the way you want it. Also if you want your meat or chicken marinated they'll do that for you for no extra charge.

Meat is fresh and the butchers are super nice. Highly recommend this place and prices are great everything and any type of meat is found here
