Our service was exquisite! Our waitress and the food runner were absolutely killing it! My boyfriend surprised me with this dining experience because I have been wanting to try this place out since we moved here! It is small plate style, the Whipped Feta (as the reviews all say) was EPIC! We literally left no crumbs behind (for every meal!) We loved sitting in the upper seating area, it felt perfect for our date night. It felt more tucked away and more romantic. It was a cool touch to be able to overlook everything happening!Shelbie was phenomenal! Genuine, insightful and is part of the reason I love going to restaurants- to have not only a great meal but even better conversation. Thank you for everything, I can't wait to come back for brunch!

FANTASTIC!!We made reservations for four on a Friday evening. Received texts confirming and, as our party grew, we're able to add 2 to our reservation via text. Super convenient! We were seated upstairs and Sean (Shaun?) was our waiter. He was FANTASTIC and attentive in all the right ways! He took care to understand what we were celebrating, dietary needs and explained menu options, recommendations and drink selection. The shareable plates were sooo good. The halibut was my favorite. They took great care of our table and needs. Highly recommend.

Super tasty food. I had the hummus plate with added spicy lamb sausage. It was delicious. And the pita was great too. Then I had the Avocado crispy rice. I thought it would be a rice bowl with some crispy rice at the bottom. No. The whole bowl was filled with crispy rice. I've never had anything like it. And it was balanced, with just enough heat to make my tongue tingle. Did I mention that it was pretty as well? Nice touch with the edible flowers. If I lived here, I'd go back. A lot.

Love this place. The food is amazing. Cocktails are creative and tasty. Vibe is causal-modern. Both times I've gone, I sat at the bar. John is the best! He's welcoming and makes a hella good drank! One of my neighborhood favorites.

This has to be hands down the best restaurant I've been to in Nashville. When you walk into the restaurant you instantly feel the positive energy and lovely vibes. The decor is beautiful and very warm. Our waiter was excellent and extremely helpful to my boyfriend's allergies. She helped navigate us through the delicious options. It definitely made the experience even better with her help. The food here is farm to table. You can tell with the freshness in every bite! The flavor was immaculate, especially the whipped feta. It's a must! I'm not a huge fan of lamb, but you must try the lamb ribs once you come here. Such a good place that you must try for any special dinner or a fun night out!

I can't even start to tell you what each dish was but the whipped feta and the bacon wrapped figs are awesome. We had the Chef's Tasting Menu and the just keep bringing the food. It's honestly a great value for the table. We love to come here. The only negative we had tonight was the salmon that came with the avocado crispy rice a was a bit over. Other than that another fabulous meal here.

I highly recommend this place if you have food sensitivity, or allergy. My sister has celiac disease and is extremely sensitive to cross contamination, as well as cannot eat anything with diary. This restaurant is very considerate and kind to those with food restrictions and I'm happy to dine anywhere that can accommodate my sister. The food was delicious and the ambience was unique and very ~vibes~. The service was OK but it was disappointing how long it took our drinks to be made and brought to the table as well as a different person served us every dish. I do think this restaurant is a bit over priced for the amount of food that you receive. My only reason to rate three stars is because of the pricing. Otherwise, this is a great experience, and would be a good date spot, even if you just came for cocktails, and not for food.

I thought I reviewed this and didn't! We came here in May. We got the cauliflower, wagyu, and a pistachio dessert. We are still raving about this place and can't wait to come back. The beef melted in your mouth and is super memorable and worth every penny.

Definitely plan on a reservation if you can -- we were here on a Monday night and it was packed. Very cool vibes in here including a nice patio. It was hot outside or we would have gladly sat outside in the courtyard area.We had a ton of things and most of them were amazing. The rundown:- bacon wrapped dates. Good but pretty standard.- whipped feta. Life changing. It's good with the chicken (chicken is fab) but it's great on its own.- crispy pork belly. This was pretty meh, not what I'd expect from pork belly- pork and beef meatballs. WOW these were amazing as well as the sauce that came with it. Be warned the spice doesn't play around!- citrus salad. I really enjoyed this -- bright fruit flavors and crunchy radicchio with the perfect amount of goT cheese.- herb falafel. Very good! Loved the whipped pistachio and avocado sauce and the zesty onions.- raspberry pineapple gazoz beverage -- a nice NA option!Would return here in a heartbeat next time I'm in Nashville. What a solid restaurant.

Sitting in East Nashville on Main Street, Butcher & Bee is pretty unassuming from the exterior. A painted brick building and a box sign is all you get...then you walk in and are immediately transported to a vibey, industrial, new age and uniquely local restaurant that features 1.5 stories of dining space, a bar, open kitchen and great outdoor dining space! This space combined with the amazing cocktails, phenomenal food and great service made for a phenomenal night out! Dinner is served tapas/small plate style, so we opted for a few things off the starters and then one shared plate, and it turned out to be the perfect amount of food. We started with the whipped feta and meatballs. Now if you take one thing from my review, please let it be the whipped feta! It was AMAZING! Meatballs were tender and doused in a curry based sauce that gave them a little kick, so keep the drinks close. For the shared plate we opted for the fried avocado rice with shawarma chicken. It was delightful, but also had a bit of a kick as well! Luckily they seem to know, so they leave you a bottle of water on the table at all times. While the food is certainly enough to bring us back, the open concept, including the kitchen, was such a cool experience. We were lucky enough to belly up to the bar looking into the kitchen and it was really cool to see all the happenings and magic they are creating! Oh, quick tip, make a reservation.Overall, Butcher & Bee has officially made it into the top 10 spots for us in Nashville. Looking forward to coming back many times!
