The Napa cabbage kimchi. Again, not too spicy, but it was spicier than the radish. I nice addition to the sweet Bulgogi.

Authentic experience getting Dwaeji Gukbap. It felt like we were back in Korea!Things you should know:I. PARKINGBusan DaeJee Gukbap is within a plaza and shares the free, public parking lot with the adjacent businesses. II. SERVICE You order at a kiosk and they call your order number then it's ready. There is a help-yourself water station, area to grab utensils, plates and napkins. Toppings (like salt) are on the table. We used a lot of that .! III. QUALITY Delicious..! For my friends who have never had Gukbap before ~ you throw the rice into the stew.. kind of like congee. It'll get soggy but that's fine. Don't be afraid to add salt either! The LA Galbi is full of flavor ~ highly recommend! IV. CAPACITY Quite busy on a weekend at lunch hours.

Easy 5. The portion was so good and only for $15. Amazing quality pork and the soup was delicious. It was so hearty and filled my craving. They have a self service kiosk so that was very easy and a decently spacious interior. If I ever want Daejee Gukbap, this will definitely be the place.

Ask any Korean what their soul food is and I think at least half will say Gukbap. Gukbap is traditional pork broth based soup and I was excited to find a Gukbap place in Atlanta, GA. Here, the order is through Kiosk machine and then food comes out at the counter for you to pick up. There is no server and the price is very affordable for that reason. I got mixed Gukbap and it was very rich in broth tasted authentic. Loved the kimchi and radish kimchi as well. Definitely consider checking this place out when you crave authentic Gukbap.

We found our new go to breakfast spot in Duluth Ga we live in Columbia Sc and go to GA pretty often anywhere from 4 to 6 times a year. It is a very clean and cute restaurant where you can also self order or order at the front cashier. They have so many great food options. So we ordered the soondae and pork gukbap We loved the soup, the broth was very clean and delicious. Their radish kimchi was also very tasty. Next next time we go, we will definitely order, possibly the Ramen and order dumplings! Can't wait to go back and try it again.

My partner and I were searching for a new Korean restaurant to dine in, and he came across Busan DaeJee Gukbap. I love soups, so I was really excited about trying the restaurant. We walked in for lunch on Sunday and were the only guests there. The restaurant was squeaky clean and the walls were decked out with photos of the entrees that are served there. I ordered Spicy Pork and Rice Soup, while my partner got the Pollack Ox Bone Soup and Spicy Blood Sausage Soup. My soup had a strong pork flavor, and so I swapped my meal with my partner's Pollack Ox Bone Soup. This was completely opposite; it was very bland. I don't think my partner and I were the ideal customers for these types of soups. I personally prefer hearty soups with a lot of flavor, as long as it doesn't taste too porky.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The bone broth is excellent, I like to add lots of shrimp paste and spicy paste to mine. The kimchi here is also really good and the 깍두기 is my favorite. The MANDU is AMAZING!!! The service is good and kind.

Stumbled upon this restaurant as I was driving by and decided to try Gukbap since it recently opened. All orders are placed through a kiosk in the front and they call out your number as your food comes out. Not really your traditional sit down restaurant. Food comes out quickly The restaurant has ample seating for small or large groups. During lunch rush hour, it tends to get busy. Went right before noon and only a few parties were there. No need for reservations or anything. They offer various soups as well besides Daejee Gukbaps. Excited to try them during my next outing! Service was really nice and the restaurant is very well maintained as well! Place is a very cozy spot to come with your friends/family.Recommendations:Daejee Gukbap 9/10 - Smooth taste and comes with a bowl of rice / sides. Make sure to ask to get the side of shrimp paste to put in your soup.Big open parking lot and they do to-go orders as well.

I found this place by walking down the street from the Toyota dealership. I needed to kill about an hour of time, and it was noon. I walked into the shopping strip, and took a look at each one of the restaurants, but nothing really caught my eye until I saw their sign.I decided to check them out for a lunch set because it said "soft opening". I was excited that I was one of the first try them!!They treated me very well, and the store was modern chic with a touch of Korean home-style. unfortunately, they didn't have an English menu at this time, but it's been about 2 months since I went in - so maybe they have one now. They did say they were planning on making one.Their menu was in Korean, and it was displayed on the screens behind the register counter. I ordered and they asked me to have a seat and said that they would bring it to me. As I sat, I began to ask a few questions, and the owner ended up coming out to answer them directly (since the register lady didn't know all the answers - might have been a language barrier issue, but I wasn't entirely certain).I ordered the Ttukbaegi Bulgogi and a bottled water. They had a water filter machine for self-serving tap hot or cold (next time I go, I'll get tea). I finished my bottle of water before leaving just so I could try the water and let you all know: it's good. The register lady happily gave me permission to refill my water bottle with their machine. Btw- the water was Deer Park (not my favorite), as I recall. I started with what they called "clear soup", but it was basically a light miso soup. It was so tasty o slurped it down after just 4 spoonfuls. Honestly, it was really satisfying. The Bulgogi soup was delicious. The mushrooms soaked up that soup base and grabbed bits of the beef and the meat was so tender and yummy! I literally ate and drank it down to the last morsel and sip. I used the rice here and there with the side dishes to help give my palate a break from the sweet and savory flavor of the Bulgogi. I also used up the last bit of rice soaking up the remainder of the soup at the end. Yum yum yum!I really need to get back over there and see if they added the english language menu and I really want to try a few more of their soups. Some extra backstory: The owner decided to open shop a while back and gave his dishes a good thinking through. Each dish is just like it would be in Korea and he takes pride in that fact. The pictures on the walls show each of the main dishes that are the shops specialty. His brother took the pictures and made those blow-ups! If you need some food photography- his brother is pretty good, yo! Definitely swing in here! It's really good food and the service matches! I have been waiting for 2 months for them to officially list themselves as open, just so I could post my review. Enjoy!

Probably one of the rudest servers we've ever encountered at any restaurants. She was pushy and not very pleasant to talk with. We already stepped out of the restaurant and she made a scene after my daughter unintentionally left a cup on the table and she yelled loudly in front of other customers demanding we clean up. One and done with this awful establishment. Food wasn't that great either.
