Burros & Fries Plaza Bonita

Son ordered adobada fries...NOT A FAN!If you want fries with meat just go to a taco shop or better yet Tacos El G to get satisfying carne fries!!

Nice place to grab a bite of good San Diego Mexican Food while at the mall. They have great carne asada and guacamole. The cheeses are also yummy.We ordered: carne asada fries and 1 taco. Food was good just was a busy Saturday night so the wait was a bit longer than normal. The line here speaks for itself, great food.

I thought it was pretty decent for a quick healthy bowl. I did wish they were a little bit more generous with the meat. I feel like the bowl lacked meat for sure. Over all it wasn't horrible. Lady at the front was very kind at least. I would probably eat their again If I wanted something quick to eat.

With any food located in a mall, there comes a certain expectation (which is not to have an expectation for greatness) you are probably starving from shopping all day or craving the brand name food places that draw your attention. I, like others, swore off mall food (aside from weltzels pretzels) but needed a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised. The line of tickets was long (mind you they fulfil not only in-person food orders but online orders as well.)We had about 6-7 people in front of our order when I actually looked at my ticket for our order number, there was one poor guys slaving away in the kitchen and dishing out the orders as fast as he could. It was a bit of a wait but not too bad. I ordered the flautas full expecting 3 small ones for the price and was pleasantly surprised that my flautas were cut in half and bite pretty big! The carne asada burrito was customized with just meat, guac and cheese (which was extra)... there was each ingredient in every bite. The cook gets a 10-star for the amount of output without wavering taste and quality. The front cashier was attentive and quick and taking orders and getting orders out as soon as they were ready. In fact, my first bite to the last was steaming hot! Did I mention my flautas tasted fresh and made from scratch?! Based on this experience, I would order from them again. I watched as the line was constantly busy and each customers order was taken and delivered according.

Wonderful quality Mexican food for a decent price.The service has always been fast and polite during my five visits to the Plaza Bonita location-- would enthusiastically recommend!

I used to frequent the Claremont location because of their delicious potato tacos. I decided to try this location since I was in the area. I ordered a potato taco. There was pieces of meat scattered through it. I had to dig through it to find them all. Never eating here again.

Absolutely appalled. Ordered a burrito, took a few bites into it and chipped part of my tooth on a bone that was left inside the burrito. Not only is this absolutely disgusting and shows flaws within the kitchen staff, it is also very dangerous. This could have been so much worse had i swallowed the bone in the burrito. As a worker in the same mall, this place has been one of my go-tos for my lunch breaks but will not ever be going back here again after this incident. Will NOT recommend going here

Disgusting. The chicken was gray and the tacos had an overall refrigerator taste... like it had been stored for a really long time before being cooked. Not like you have any good options at plaza Bonita but I would really avoid at all costs.
