Burritos Santana Mexican Food

This place has amazing Taco Shop food! I definitely do not understand the lower ratings.We had the Bean and Cheese Burrito, Carne Asada Burrito and the Chiliquiles, all were on point as were the hot carrots! Definitely coming back anytime I visit San Diego.

My dad, daughter, and I drove out to visit my cousin who just moved to the area. After a little while we all decided that we were hungry. Because the parking nearby was very limited, I checked Yelp! for a place close enough to walk to. We all agreed that the photos and reviews for Burritos Santana were appealing. My dad and cousin walked over and ordered food to go, then walked back. I was a little hesitant because most places don't hold up well after a short walk or drive, but I took a chance and ordered the surf & turf nachos. They were so crispy and crunchy from start to finish, they were perfectly executed with a good flavor. Amongst the group we ordered fish tacos, a grilled fish burrito, and an asada burrito. We all enjoyed our food. My daughter ate those fish tacos so fast and said they were "yummy". I don't get out to San Diego too often, but we will definitely come back for more on future visits.

The foods okay if they make your order correctly. They repeated my girlfriends burrito back to her twice and we drove off thinking the order was all good and didn't notice until we drove too far to go back and her whole burrito was missing. No receipt either and I noticed the charge on my card was for one burrito. Employees were giggling before handing us our order too smh.

So I ordered thru door dash and ordered a carnasada sandwich and a large coke . When I get my order delivered it was only carnasada in a bowl . I will be calling them tomorrow about this

I went through drive through tonight there is NO pricing on anything. I ordered just a breakfast burrito with bacon, egg, cheese and very very little beans which I made very clear. I got my burrito which cost $12.36 and was mostly beans what a rip off. This place is not worth it don't waste your money. Why would you not have pricing so you know what you're paying. The food is not worth it.

My favorite taco shop. I've never had something I didn't like here. Burritos are tight, enchiladas are great and they have the best beans. Also their customer service has been awesome, always friendly.

I love that this spot is open 24/7! Usually not pack at all when I come late at night on the weekends. Also has a drive thru! My go to is their carne Asada fries! I've also tried their cabeza burrito which was delicious !

Got hair in my burrito first bite I took. Pulled the hair and it was long. Hanging on the end a clump of cheese. So gross. Not to mention inconsistency on a burrito size. Horrible customer service. No prices on drive thru menu so they can switch prices when ever they please. I doubt they season the food? Good luck

Wish I could say good things about this place but honestly they frequently mess up orders and refuse to make things right. I went there this evening and ordered a half order of French fries with guacamole and cheese and to my surprise I was given carne asada fries which came out to a full order with everything I didn't want on it I'm usually not one to complain but this clearly wasn't my order. Along with the fries I ordered 2 fish tacos which seemed to be something between a fish stick and battered fish. I was surprised when my order came out to 15$ but I still paid and just nicely asked for a receipt. To my surprise what I ordered was not what I paid for not what I got. There's an older woman who works there I believe her name is Norma and she is the sweetest. However the other staff is quite rude. When reviewing my receipt I see how they would make mistakes because I got a receipt with completely different orders. All I can say is order at your own risk

Went to get food here and I parked to the left of the establishment. I noticed a man putting containers out with animal food and bird feed all over the sidewalk and by the establishment planters. It looked really gross and dirty. I then witnessed him dump trash into the parking area of the taco shop. I saw a rodents and roaches in that area and made me question the cleanliness of the establishment. Not sure if the taco shop workers knows this man is doing that, it looked like he did this as a routine bc his car looked filled with animal food. Needless to say I will not be returning here due to the questionable cleanliness of the establishment and surroundings animal feces and litter within 10 feet of where they handle food.
