FREE SODA!!!!!! :)need I say more? Hahaha okay okay, and actual review now. The place looks a little run down from the outside but I don't know if its the same inside (I went through the drive thru). I ordered a california burrito and when I pulled around I found out I got a free soda! :) The burrito was good, not the greatest but def. good... especially for the price. I think it was like $4 something. Will be going back again.

This place is horrible!! They recently changed ownership (Atleast it seems like). We've always ordered potato rolled tacos.. for the past 3 years. They all of a sudden only have chicken or beef and are Rude about it. The girl in the drive thru was extremely rude. We drove off and went directly to Victoria's for way better service!

I love your food, but I'm giving you 1 star because the girl at the drive thru (blonde) said I could only have 4 salsas. I have eating here for years and have never been told that. I had to buy 2 extra tiny cups of salsa for .25 each. But had I gone inside, they have a salsa bar where I can get as much as I want. I just think it's ridiculous you are ripping off your drive thru customers this way. Especially since your cost is just a few cents. Oh, and if I had come for breakfast I can get free coffee, but not extra salsa. Just dumb.

This place is horrible!!!! They tried charging me 18.00 dollars for a plain quesadilla and 4 rolled tacos with guacamole. I said there must be a mistake!!! She said nope!! So I drove off when to Armando's got same thing for 8 bucks!

I ordered a Carne Asada Burrito for my girl. When i handed it to her, she told me that the bag was light with the salsa's and all inside the bag. I told her that it cost a $7.24, her reaction was "WHAT?!!" I told her that it better be good for that amount of pesos. She told me that it was very skimpy but that it tasted good or maybe she was too hungry. She wasn't sure. These fast food mexican eateries are getting pretty expensive. I know that the cost of meat is high but not that much. We've decided not to go there any more. I think I'm going vegetarian. We just can't find a good and cheap burrito in Imperial Beach. They all suck!

I'm sad. :( I totally hate when I'm craving something and instead of going to my usual taco shops (Armandos in Palm City & Los Taquitos in Otay) I end up at the closest spot because I'm too lazy to drive. That's super fat when ya think about it - too lazy to drive, ha! Smh Anyway, since I was too lazy to drive a whole 12 blocks this is what I get - a beef taco that has no flavor, the shell was fried too crispy that it's breaking apart from the first bite. Actually the meat is a little burnt too. This little sucker was so not worth the $3. But wait, it gets fatter.... the rolled tacos are just as bad. Yeah, I know it's the same thing as a beef taco, but sometimes I like my tortillas rolled then fried and sometimes folded then fried. Sigh... I should've went to Armando's, dang it! Maybe I can drown it in hot sauce to give it a little flavor? Eeek, the hot sauce was horrible. It had some weird tang that I've never tasted in any hot sauce before. Ay, Diosito porque?????!!!! $7 for rolled tacos .. this is a pricey little taco shop. O ye, no estamos en Coronado, estamos en Imperial Beach!! I wouldn't care about the price if the food was the bomb but unfortunately it's not. :( Next time, I won't be so lazy and step on the pedal for them extra 12 blocks to go to Armandos.

The carne asada fries are alright. They use really thick fries. Not crispy at all, get soggy almost instantly. and their "hottest salsa" almost taste like tomato sauce. I wouldn't recommend it...

Open 24 hours with drive-thru. My go-to place for good mexican foods. Best California burritos and Best Fish Tacos in Imperial Beach .. hands down! I been to that Mariscos Fish Taco Truck by Honey Ko and this place is by far.. better in quality and taste. And whats even better is.. they take credit cards.. and your order is ready in 3 minutes. Skip the fish taco truck and head to Burritos Santana!

I just had a carne Asad burrito with a diet coke. The staff were polite. The burrito very nice and the soda was just right. Try the green salsa, I think it's tomotillo, it's delicious and plenty hot. And the restrooms are clean and we'll stocked. This isn't my normal type restaurant but I was new to the area. I'm glad I stopped in.
