We checked these guys out at Nine Yards brewery with our kids. I mention the kids because they're incredibly picky eaters. These were some of the best burgers of my life... And my son, gobbled his up incredibly fast - every last bite! My daughter finished hers as well, with no complaints (unheard of for a teenager). I loved that they made kid sized burgers for them too. Yum! Come back to Nine Yards soon!!

I work in Ballard, and each Friday (and sometimes bonus days of Wednesday & Thursday) a food truck parks in our loading bay and sets up shop for a couple of hours in the early to mid afternoon. Burgerphenia was here awhile ago when I tried them (2014?) and they've been back a few times since my visit, but I've only been a customer that one time.I ordered the Barcelona burger ($9.50) with a side of fries ($3.00). With lunch setting me back nearly $13.00, I was hoping for something pretty dang awesome. There is something to be said for a simple Dick's Drive In burger, but sometimes fancy-schmancy is the way to go. The wait time was pretty long - not sure if there was a lack of organization, too many orders, or what. I patiently waited for about 10-15 minutes, when my name/bag was finally called. The lady working in the truck (server) apologized but I was happy. I had to run an errand, as I realized I had lost my bank card, so I went up to the bank where I left it. Once I got that sorted out, I sat down to quickly eat my burger. I unwrapped the burger to find it was their "Pitch" burger. I am sure it would be good in its own right, but I really wanted the Barcelona. I re-wrapped the burger and went back to the food truck to wait in line and explain the mix up.I know I grabbed the right bag when my name was called because it was the only bag there, but I think they mixed up which burger went in which bag perhaps. Anyways, I had to wait for my replacement burger but they did so without an issue.I would give this place 5 stars, but I knocked a couple off for a couple reasons:1) Their website claims "Burgerphenia is more than just Seattle's best burger, It's a revelation." I don't believe they serve Seattle's best. Sure, this is a subjective opinion but that's my feeling. 2) At $9.50, I was hoping/expecting something that truly leaned towards Seattle's best burger. A pricetag like that warrants something pretty spectacular and it wasn't anything memorable. I did like the unique flavors and accompaniments, though.Would I try Burgerphenia again? I can't say that I would. It isn't bad, but it isn't "the best" and with a pricetag of $8.50+ per burger, it makes me think twice about spending it on an okay burger.

Solid, delicious food truck burgers and fries. If you're looking for greasy, divey burgers, this isn't the place. If you want a quality burger topped with arugula instead of lettuce, on toasted, buttered brioche instead of your average bun, this is it. And the fries! The herbed fries! Crispy, seasoned in fresh chopped rosemary, perfectly salted. Wow. Best fries I've had in a good, long while. $9 for a burger, $3.5 for a heaping plate of fries. Minus one star because the burger was maybe just a little overpriced. I highly recommend!

The Milan is one of the best burgers I have ever had. And the fries with herbs were delicious and huge.

Went to their food truck for the first time. Thought it was super delicious. I got the drive-in burger & fries. Burger was good. Looked fresh. Im not exactly sure what it is, but the drive-in sauce was super tasty. Fries were a perfect crispy-ness. Would definitely eat there again!

Yet another delicious Seattle burger experience! My boyfriend and I visited the new Reuben's taproom this past weekend and Burgerphenia was parked right out front. We needed some food to soak up some cold ones so we ordered two burgers and an order of fries to share.I ordered the Milan with Gorgonzola dolce, bacon, tomato, arugula and tarragon aioli on a brioche bun. Definitely a true gourmet burger with its upscale toppings, I especially loved the tarragon aioli. Yet the burger patty was still "down to earth": juicy, thick and crisp on the outside from a good sear on the flat top. So I would call it a gourmet burger with a down home feel. Nothing wrong with that! The fries we ordered were also pretty decent; herb fries on a crispy, hand-cut fry. My only complaint would be they could've benefited from just a tad more salt.

I loved this burger so much I felt compelled to review. I had the Vietnamese burger, which is a burger patty, arugula, and some fresh spicy partly pickled mix of culinary genius. Best food truck burger in Seattle hands down. It's in the top 3 burger I can remember having Seattle at all. This is a $9 burger, fries an extra $3. But this burger is in a class with an entree from an excellent mid priced restaurant where I wouldn't think twice about it being on the menu at $14 or $16. The fries were also excellent and very generous in portion size. The brother sister team that run the truck are also great proprietors.

I got a burger there that was good but the bun was really burnt so when the credit card survey they have on Square popped up on my receipt I told them that I had a problem. They quickly responded telling me they had a burner issue on their truck and that they would refund the burger and give me a new one next time. Got my new burger today and they kept their promise and gave me a new meal. Great customer service. Their burger prices are high but they use good ingredients. Will be $15 with burger and fries. Fries are awesome with a hint of Thai basil and huge, kind of dwarfs the burger.

This place.. WTF. We had the pleasure of the food truck outside of Rubens and holy shit this place is on another level. The Milan burger is nuts, the Barcelona will make you feel like your in Spain with a beautiful woman's tits smothering your face. Do yourself a favor and get this shit in your mouth.
