There's something about a smash burger that really gets my heart racing! When I saw Burger Planet pull up outside a brewery, I got very excited, and I got even more excited when I saw all the unique burgers and flavor combos they had to offer. Great ordering system, with a buzzer you can take to return to your friends and drinks, great service, and overall, I was pleased with my food!

Me and my buddy went to Chuck's Hop Hop in Greenwood and ran into this food truck right up front. We weren't super hungry so we ordered the Craft Burger and split. It also came with a side of tater tots. The burger was amazing. It had that sweet and salty thing going on, packed with flavors. Fried onion straws and bbq sauce really worked well together. Tots were great too but nothing too special or anything. Service was great. After ordering, they gave me a pager and the food was ready about 15 minutes later. I do recommend this place but I thought it was pretty pricey for what it was.

I like how the burgers comes with tots! I I got their mushroom burger (Fungus Among Us), and it has a lot of mushrooms, but it was on the salty side. The burger was well constructed and I love the flavor combination, but could have been delicious if it was seasoned a little less with salt.

Service is good, the place is fun. The Tajin on the tots and burgers made it basic inedible. Just way too much salt. Also ketchup is all in packets, they are not a food truck at this location. Can we do a little something for the world and use something less harmful for dine in, reusable bottles would probably save the money and reduce waste.

Grabbed some food here while having beers at Ravenna Brewery. I ordered the Carne Asada burger ($13) and Churros ($1.50)Friends ordered the Gunga mahi mahi burger ($14), Atomic Fire chicken burger ($12), and a side of onion rings (?)Carne Asada burger - this was good! I was worried the steak patty would be dry, but I thought it was pretty juicy. I thought the choice of Havarti cheese was interesting, maybe a halloumi, quest fresco, or other cheese would be a better fit. The "atomic spuds" that the burgers come with are seasoned tots. They taste like they are seasoned with tajin, which I personally liked a lot but might not be for everyone. Churros - even though these were described as "churros" (plural) on the menu, you actually just get a single churro which I was disappointed in. I was imagining a bunch of the little churros with dipping sauce, but instead it was one of those big gas station type churros filled with some kind of pink fruit filling.Gunga burger - I didn't try, but friends said it was really goodAtomic fire burger - I also didn't try, but friend described it as "Good not great. Solid. Just below great"Onion rings - these were good but on the thicker/heavier side. The burger seemed small for a 1/3 lb patty, but it was tasty. Everyone agreed that the food all was a bit salty but good. I would avoid the churro. We liked the tajin tots and I'm glad the burgers come with them otherwise these would be super overpriced. They did give me a container of hot sauce for no charge so that was nice!

Take note, this is a food truck so you have to confirm their location on a website. I'm waiting to try it.

Dang that was salty. You gonna kill some people like that. The tots were too salty, the burgers were way too salty. Is the chef a cigarette smoker or somethin?

Burger Planet has been a staple every other Friday outside Ravenna Brewing. They've got lots of burger options: wagyu beef, crispy chicken, grilled chicken & pork. There is however, no veggie option at the truck. I learned this because my MIL ordered a burger, without the meat. She wanted lettuce, cheese and tomato on a bun (and no tots). Unfortunately she was still charged for a burger and tots, despite not actually getting a burger or tots... which was $18. (This didn't affect my review - but noteworthy for those who don't eat meat options and who are looking at reviews & menus.) If you're into burgers of all sorts, then read on.They make great burgers! My fave is the Nebula Chicken which is a grilled chicken, with bacon, ranch and Swiss. Never disappoints! Also tried the Atomic Chicken which was equally delicious and has the crunch factor. All burgers come with tots, which I don't care for. But, you can "upgrade" to fries or onion rings for an additional charge. Not quite sure how fries are considered an upgrade, but I digress. I recommend getting the onion rings instead because they are absolute fire! Best onion rings, ever!! I always get the onion rings and add them to my Nebula Burger. It really elevates it!

In shortA popular food truck makes the leap (to hyperspace) and opens a bricks-and-mortar location with vintage arcade games, pinball, and a sweet Star Wars theme to the decor. In longThese guys have worked together for years. One of them went off on his own and started BP as a food truck a few years ago, and now they've gotten the band back together as business partners. They took over the old Zippy's location in Rat City and today was their grand opening. They're already running smooth as silk. There's a decent amount of parking here, and plenty of space inside. Huge hyperspace mural facing the door--that's the strobe effect when the Millennium Falcon accelerates in the Star Wars movies. Next to that is a noren (Japanese door curtain) with X-wings chasing TIE Fighters out of the setting of two big red suns. Two suns? Must be Tatooine. There's lots of table seating and some highboy seating at converted old oaken barrels. There's a big beer bar across the dining room, and an order station for food. A dozen nice beers on tap. Let's pressure these guys to order some cool BP-branded craft beer glassware, shall we?There's another dining room around the corner, where the Star Wars (and Seahawks and Kraken) decor continue. There's also Ms Pac-Man, some other vintage arcade games, and at least two Star Wars pinball machines. This place is definitely welcoming my geeky soul home with open arms. And, yeah, burgers. Let's not forget those. It's a really interesting menu, starting with classic cheeseburgers, multiple topping variations, pork belly, and other goodness. Then there's a parallel list of chicken sandwiches, which I'll have to check out next time. There's a kids' menu, and there certainly were multiple father-son and other parent-offspring groups around us this afternoon. They serve pop for the kids, and the dining rooms are all ages.BurgersWe checked out the Classic with cheddar, and the Carne Asada burger. We traded halves, and I thought the Carne burger would spoil me not only for the next half I ate, but for all burgers for a while, but the Classic more than held its own. The Classic was cooked to a perfect medium, the carne was more grilled through (also perfect).SidesOnion rings are great--flavorful, crunchy batter cooked fully through without a drop of oil lingering. I could go a little thicker on the onion slices inside but these are already just about the best rings I've had. Loaded tots are ridiculous. The same old familiar tater tots we've all had a million times, except with queso and salsa fresca on top. Delicious and fully satisfying. We shoulda stayed and played some pin, but instead we hurried home to watch the games tonight. I love this spot and can't wait to come back.

I was just at their new brick 'n mortar location in White Center (9614 14th Ave SW in White Center) for a to-go order, on the way back to work:This is my second time eating their Carne Asada burger, and This burger rocks! Perfect amount of heat in the garnish and toppings, on good and juicy beef patties, and I like it better than the Carne Asada street tacos I usually get from another restaurant, much closer to home. This will be a regular for me!Dave
