Burger Madness - Monroe

This is a Righteous Burger. I have lived in Monroe area for almost a year and a half and finally found a GREAT burger in Monroe! I ordered an extra patty, thinking perhaps the burgers might be skinny like so many of the other burger places. Well, what I got was a super fat burger! Now that I know, I will be getting my once a month burger treat! :). The fried foods are standard fare. We had the Artichokes, Mushrooms and Curly Fries. Seriously, come for the BURGERS. I now worship at the Pearly Gates of Burger Madness for all of my Burger needs whilst still in Monroe!

When it's possible to actually find them open, the service and food have been meh. Tried to give them several shots since they seem to be a family business that has struggled throughout the pandemic and hoped to make it through to the other side. However, the shop remains elusive, and frankly the food is average. Pricing is high for a burger. For my first foray, I went with the all American burger, almost $10? whoa...but it would be great right? Well, not so much. They cook all the burgers medium, which I somehow missed on the menu board, which is pretty busy to say the least. It was typical, but because of the pink middle, I couldn't eat most of it. (I have had ecoli once, not a fan). I opted for rings over fries, which were good, though for $5 would have liked them to be larger, or yes, more...I am used to monster onion rings from my old stomping ground, these were again, typical. I wanted a shake but $5 for a shake is just too steep. It took another couple months for me to get up the courage to try again...but kept running into the same problem. They were never open. Or they closed early, too hot, not enough staffing, equipment failure. But we persevered and finally had a shot one Sunday afternoon. This time I thought, let's go for something a little more adventurous...so I ordered the So-Cal burger, and remembered to ask that it be cooked medium well, no pink please. Thank you very much, yes, there's no pink...but, a little too crispy. I think this could have been aleviated had the burger been a little more stout in thickness. The bacon was good and I am a sucker for avocado, I did opt for no mayo and that's a good thing, as the flavor melded nicely with the onion bun. I guess I am shocked that for 2 burgers, fries, and just water, the bill was $30+. (my husband had the Jack Daniels burger this time). Overall, I think the fact that they cannot maintain a consistent schedule, the staff was a little curt both times, the wait for food was longer than expected, and the price is exceptionally steep, IMO, makes this my last choice for a local burger. I wish them luck, I hope they can get their issues resolved.

This burger joint is no joke!! I had the Madness burger and my husband had the Bacon Sourdough burger and they were both dank. The veggie toppings were so fresh and crispy. They're generous with the fries and the fry sauce is yummy too. We stopped in on a whim while traveling through Monroe and I highly recommend!

Immediately upon entering, I was greeted by the cashier. Their menu board is pretty large, and their food is pretty pricey for what you get. The price of the food does not match the taste/size of the food, but I did have amazing service while I was there. The young man behind the counter was incredibly sweet and friendly. He made his recommendations for food items, was very encouraging of my choices, checked on me after I had started eating, and had a heartfelt goodbye as I left. I wish every restaurant had a model employee like this guy!

Dropping a star. The wait for a single order seems to have gotten longer & longer over the past year. Hours are also inconsistent which makes it more difficult to support an independent business rather than going to a chain. There are other local businesses in the area that are open & ready to serve the community.

Food is super expensive. It's good but the owners are super nit picky, came out to me and my friend when and told us we were stealing. Wouldn't recommend go somewhere else if you don't want to spend $20 on a burger.I guess that's why they call it burger madness cuz the price is madness.

Good food but poorly ran business. They are randomly closed and don't update about it. They don't answer their phone even if they are open. Worth stopping by.... If they're open.

The selection of burgers here is incredible. I've been there multiple times. Service was always good and staff was very friendly and welcoming. I gave a 3-Star rating because the last 2 times I've gone there, they were closed with no notice on reopening.

the food is fantastic... if the place is open when you get there. three times now we've made a drive out to monroe for burger madness and they've been closed within their normal business hours, not on holidays. no sign explaining why they're closed. super super disappointing.

Hours are annoying, phone doesn't work, food is overpriced, and now I just ordered from this place on DoorDash and 5 minutes after they confirmed the order, they canceled the entire thing. Of course I tried calling, but the phone doesn't work. Out of the probably six times I've tried to order from this place, two orders have been successful. The food is good, but come on... Do better.
