Found the best Pretzel in San Diego. But seriously, had a great time here. I came solo on a Tuesday night which seemed to be trivia night. Great environment and atmosphere, service was awesome. Great selection of food and drinks!

Sister: can you mention the *banger* music playlist here in your Yelp review?!?!....................Pretty much the pop punk/rock/alternative songs you wailed in Rock Band lol. Iconic 2000s bands like blink-182, Taking Back Sunday, Jimmy Eat World, etc. Was particularly entertaining watching a mom rock (no pun intended) her baby here to the rhythm of Chop Suey! by System of a Down lol.ANYWAY, this spot has pretty alright grub. Hefty and soft Bavarian pretzel with a really tasty beer cheese dipping sauce. Wasn't completely on board with the bock bocks 'n' taters; crispy blistered fries but the chicken was bland and tough. The mango sticky rice sorbetto was a refreshing treat (especially during this extra warm and humid summer) though I wished there was a stronger coconut taste to go up against the bold mango taste. The clever kiwi pilsner is crisp and fruity and the juice press IPA has a good balance of citrus and hop flavors.Very friendly and attentive service. Overall a decent bar for chill, no-fuss social meetups in Little Italy.

Fun spot to grab a bite and really good brewsNote: this is the only Burgeon location that has a dedicated kitchen and although I didn't personally order any food, all the plates coming from the kitchen looked deliciousRecommend the Carlsbad Crush if you're looking for a datytime buzzerCheers, Burgeon!

We read that the pretzel was "the best" so we ordered it. I am not a fan of pretzel but it was pretty good. . . prefer a little more crunch and definitely wanted more salt . . . was a good muncher while we waited for our food. It tasted like a bagel but in a different form. I preferred the white sauce to the mustard.I had the Korean fried chicken sandwich, which was pretty good. Funny that my top burger bun had a hole in it as if someone stuck a finger in there. (See my photo.) It came with a side of fries, which were excellent by the way. The fries are hot, crunchy, and taste like they are "double fried" like in Amsterdam. We also had a happy hour order of wings (which are on special on Wednesdays). We picked "Bama" wings. We enjoyed them, saucy! [My husband was here for Yelp Elite. I had a bite of his fried salmon nugget and fish taco. Both were good.]The kids "pizza" didn't have any tomato sauce and was like cheese flatbread that was disappointing. I wanted to ask the workers about it but we did not. We really loved the ambience. It has high ceilings and has the windows/doors open. It has outdoor patio seating, where people seem to bring their pets while eating. The place also sells t-shirts!It's like a sports bar so you see lots of folks just having a beer with or without food. Come check it out!

Was walking to meet a friend and stopped in for a cheeky pint. Nice pilsner. Refreshing and matches the weather of a nice summer day in SD.

Came here last Wednesday evening with a group of friends and had a nice time. The ambiance is nice as the place is an open concept layout. It's great to feel the downtown atmosphere while in the restaurant. There is street parking and a paid parking lot across the street. The service was great, hence the 4 star rating I gave. The two guys working were super friendly and helpful. It was a busy night and they were hustling but still able to take care of everyone. The prices were pretty high. My glass of Sauvignon blanc (standard pour) was $14 before tax and tip. Same with the food. The burger was $20, nothing added, and to be honest was kind of basic. So be prepared to pay for being downtown. I feel like this place would be a great place to stop on the way to a Padres game in the summertime. Grab a beer before you head into the park.

Had dinner and a show here. Funny story, the night I was here, two guys ran a bill over $100 and ran out on it. One of the staff ran after them and got them to pay it. Good for her, think she went above and beyond lol.Back to the review, the taco was really good, but the salmon karaage was not for me. Also order the chicken wing. Ot was too salty but it was very crispy. Some of the food was a hit or miss for me

I really liked the fish taco and the pretzel. The kids "pizza" didn't have any tomato sauce and I'd call for a less liberal mixing of "pizza" and "flatbread" by restaurants and servers. My daughter love pizza but didn't touch this flatbread. The ambiance was kinda cool. I liked the vibe there with indoor-outdoor seating. If you just want some beers, this would be a great place to go. Re:serviceThere is no table ordering and you need to wait in line at the register to order, however they do deliver to your table. The staff was friendly enough but the process led to awkwardness when I had to getup mid-meal and wait 5 minutes in line to order more fries.

Sometimes you need a hazy IPA and some chicken wings. (Especially when dining with a gluten free friend!). The wu tang wings are GF. They are so flavorful and well cooked. Forgot the name of the beer I had but it went down so fast it didn't make the picture. The bottled lemonade also great!
