It doesn't get more classic than this. Bunny Hutch seems assuming from the outside, but filled with nostalgia. You can tell the place and menu has not changed since the beginning.They serve textbook Chicago dogs with a snappy dog, poppy seed bun, and even the celery salt on top. The fries were also perfectly fluffy and crispy. Take out of town visitors here for the perfect Chicago dog.

Bunny Hutch has been around for ages and is included in the Vienna Beef's Hall of Fame.Not only does this place serves up hot dogs and burgers, they are part of Novelty Golf & Games, having a mini golf course in the rear, batting cages, and games.We came here for lunch, and we ordered:+a Vienna Beef Chicago Hot Dog+Chili Cheese Dog + a Cheeseburger+a Gyros Plate+Cheese Fries+Breaded Mushrooms+and, a Pizza PuffThe food were all just okay. Nothing too crazy, offering simple fare.Staff and service were a hit-or-miss.There are a few seating in- and outside, and definitely an option for families with kids.You can't miss this small eatery off of Lincoln, with its bunny statue with the vest, getting everyone who's passing by!+part of Vienna Beef's Hall of Fame+has batting cages and mini golf

Found this gem and it saved me and my besties lives this day. The chili cheese dog gave us hope and will to live. will be returning for more and also to blow off steam at the batting cages. great idea, genius, no notes.

First time trying this place with my daughter, even though it's right in our neighborhood. We just have so many places with this type of food. But her burger and my Chicago-style hotdog were both excellent and we loved their fries. We sat outside because it was such a lovely day. Lovely patio. I didn't take pictures, but next time for sure.A plus for them justifying on a sign why some menu items had gone up due to rising food costs (Shrimp is now $20). Yikes. Still, it's a cute place and now we know!

My wife and I had a lunch date today. We try to go here at least a few times every year. The food is well made, and the staff could not be nicer. First we hit the batting cages, then the video games at Novelty Golf, followed by hotdogs, and fries, cooked to perfection. Hope to go back soon!

Went there for a hot dog and a italian suasage. Asked for the Italian sausage "because to go" The manger took my order and disrespectfully kept calling me buddy. I told him not to. He then purposely burnt my Italian sausage ( see picture) and double wrapped it - hoping I wouldn't notice until in my car. As far as I am concerned they owe me a Italian sausage. I would stay away from this place- staff is rude and disrespectful and deceiving.

Ure typical neighborhood hot dog joint... I can't really recommend anything besides their hot dogs. There's a reason why they're in the hot dog hall of fame... I tried a burger and dog for lunch. The burger was anemic.. ended up throwing away most of it. Thankfully the dog fed me for lunch. Slow service. Stopped by prime lunch time ...sad to see the place was empty. I should have taken the hint. Waited damn near 30 mins for a burger, dog and fries.... Not worth the effort on my end to stop in and proceed with caution don't over order. Stick with what they're known for. Hot dogs... if u stray proceed with caution...I wish I could more more positive stuff but I gotta be honest!

I'm surprised I haven't written a review for Bunny Hutch before. I'm pretty certain that despite the change in ownership/management I could still lay out the menu from memory. I grew up around there and my mom still continues to live around here.However, I was looking for a decent hot dog and Bunny Hutch was nearby. It's definitely gotten a fresh coat of paint on the inside and the bunny out front definitely has had a facelift. They serve pizza now which is new. The single hot dog combo is priced right as well and it's good. The hot dog was steamed and it had a lot of celery salt not a sprinkle, but a mad dash of it, definitely an above average frank and it's cheaper and tastier than going to a local chain.
