Buka 2 Restaurant & Lounge

First time at this place, the food is absolutely tasty. I had the okra stew with fish, the food came in less than 30 minutes. The survey was absolutely lovely. The chef even came out to make sure that we enjoyed our food. I will absolutely be back I loved it.

Taste: 5/5Price: 2/5Spending almost $40 on 2 plates is ridiculous especially for what was received. It's like they didn't have enough fried rice so they spread it out to fill the styrofoam container. I pushed the fried rice to one side there was ALOT of space left. The Jollof rice on the other hand seemed to be packed well. It's not nice to try and stiff the customers... just say you don't have enough. I doubt I'll be back. Or if I do go back, a big IF, I'd likely get a spoon to test the depth of food received

I always get jollof rice, tilapia, and efo riro with pounded yam. It costs about $60 so I don't go often but I would every day if so could :) I was very happy to see they hired an American born server to get rid of the language barrier when ordering and picking up.

i just moved from dallas to atl i was looking for a african restaurant i came across buka 2 i had the okra soup and fufu it was so delicious i will be coming back for more

HORRIBLE FOOD!!! Went in and nobody helped us when we walked in. Restaurant decor is horrible. There was only one waitress and half the menu was unavailable. The food was too salty and overpriced. Do not recommend

I tried so hard to like this place but the customer service is absolutely horrible! I called at least 3x for a catering order and was promised a call back. The owner was so rude to my husband that we vowed to never return. I really don't know who keeps these these people in business. If you're looking for great food and service just keep driving because this is not it!

Food isn't consistent seems like they may have different cooks. Its always good but sometimes its overly spicy.

The food was not favorable At all! The waiting time was not to bad but I expected better food.

1. I walked in at 7:30 pm, the establishment closes at 8 pm. A waitress asks if I was dining in and I requested for dine-in after taking a 2 hr trip. 2. Our food comes out in to go containers and in a bag and she tells us they are closed and we can't eat here. I was not impressed with her customer service or communication skills. 3. Luckily, there was a kind gentleman there that made sure our orders were in separate bags. He displayed high quality customer service and for that I would maybe consider coming back. However, as my colleague proceeded to hand the gentleman with a tip, the young lady decides to exclaim "where is my tip". We proceeded to walk out and ignore her. All-in-all, I can't judge this place based on its food because we were kicked out, but I can say this one person placed a bad taste in my mouth to not return.

the service was amazing , the food was great and the music was a vibe. I had the jollof with chicken and beef and it was amazing. My friends and I are visiting Atl and this was like a taste of home.
