My wife and I met some friends here for a couple beers after sampling Bugu at the Snohomish Brewfest.Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Bugu doesn't have a kitchen; however, outdoor food is encouraged and welcomed. There are a few games scattered throughout to play while enjoying your craft beer choice. Bugu paraphernalia can be purchased as well.Table service is not offered; orders are placed at the counter. During our visit, I had a couple 16oz Big L's West Coast IPAs for $6.50 each. My wife had a couple 16oz Kilcup's for $6 each.Service was friendly. It was evident that the staff members took great pride in their craft beers. Price point is standard.Overall, a much welcomed addition to Monroe.

On a day trip with my stepson we decided to go to Monroe WA to try some of the small breweries they have there. Bugu was our first stop. This place is awesome! They have some very different and delicious beers on tap. If your a beer drinker go give them a try, you will not be sorry. No food available, they do have local menu's you can order from. I did a flight and it was all delicious. I really enjoyed the Lingold. It is a little tart, but not sour. I really enjoyed the flavor. The staff is awesome and friendly, and it is a great story. The do have at least one IPA and Hazy on, but as I said, it is very different from most of the breweries I have been to. Go try them out!

Great beer and venue! Owners are super friendly and knowledgeable. They have a great selection of board games if you want to hang out for awhile. Check them out during a Mariner's game!

Wow, this is an awesome new brewery that opened up in Monroe! Easily my favorite one on the couple of stops I made in town last time I was here. With Bugu Brewing I had four different beers this time with my beer experience here. The first one I had was my favorite. Sang Froid was the first one up that I tried. This beer was a pilsner. A French Pilsner to be specific. This excellent pilsner had a great clean, crisp and dry flavor complexity to it. Very different than most pilsners I come across and I simply loved it!After that I had a small pour of a cream ale they also had on tap. The Gem State. This was a cream ale with notes of huckleberry, wildflowers and just a hint of cracker. It too was good. I enjoyed the beers so much here that I bought two cans to take home and for Steve to try out this brewery via at home. Our first beer together was the Blok Hut. This was a Farmhouse Saison style beer with floral and tart flavor features. A very good saison! I haven't had one quite this good for some time! The last beer was another cream ale but not like Gem State. McSchmeezy was the cream ale we both enjoyed together. It had a wonderful creamy flavor with a little bit of a cracker flavor to it to go along with the creaminess. Very good beers from this brewery and I would love to come back here again for sure whenever I'm back in town!

First time here. Chill vibe, delicious beer. I did 2 flights of the same beers cause I loved them all. The bartender was the owner (son of the owner). Service was fantastic. Had a good time watching lacrosse on tv. Will definitely be back.

After a beautiful sunny hike to Wallace falls, it was great to stop in Monroe at Bugu brewery to enjoy a well brewed brew or two. The owners were behind the counter, welcoming everyone and pouring the beer, very friendly and knowledgeable about their beers. Looking over a good selection of different style beers for a small brewery. After a little quizzing of Kipp and Bradley, the Aussie sparkling Ale 'Hyphen 18' was my first selection, all Aussie hops, brewed with a brut type finish, like one of my favorites at Drakes brewery in Cali ( sad days when they retired it) very refreshing, balanced ( not over hopped) with a brut (dry) finish, definitely a good choice after a warm day of work or play. Part of the philosophy of Bugu brewing is brewing well balanced beers, which from the tastings from my first visit they've accomplished very well. Well balanced with great flavor brews. Of course being a lover of Reds, I also tried a full pour of their take on Irish reds.. Donnybrook, very flavorful with a good full bodied taste, very smooth. I can imagine it could only taste better, if they added nitro to the mix, to add a little creaminess, but great just the way they did it. I'm looking forward to return stops, after more hiking adventures in the Mount Baker forest area. Plenty of food places nearby, that are also welcome as you enjoy this gem of a brewery in Monroe. Cheers!

Stopped by Bugu on the way back from Stevens. The Australian Sparkling Ale was so crisp, refreshing and balanced. It was delicious and easy to drink on a warm sunny day. The Tee Time was also great, especially if you're a fan of earl grey tea. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Monroe

Definitely our favorite Monroe brewery! If you're looking for something other than the standard NW IPAs, this is the place to go. We love those, but lately we've been branching out into other styles and have enjoyed every beer we've tried so far. The owners are really friendly and will happily talk to you about beer, sports, etc (they grow some of their own hops too!)

Great family owned brewery with many delicious beers from locally grown hops! My husband stopped in while we were visiting the area and so happy we did. We chatted with the owner and he was so nice and we loved his story. We both got flights and enjoyed all of our selections. Our next round was the Hefeweizen and a English-ale, followed up by another round of the same but we swapped. Highly recommend!
