Buffet House

Overall:One of the NICEST looking buffet I've ever seen/ been to. We got there at 10:30 am (didn't know that they change their times, we should have listened to Google) and waited for half an hour. 10 minutes before it opened (on a Thursday morning) there was a LINE! Never seen a line for a buffet before. The food was good (for buffet standards). I like that the sushi is small so you can get more and don't feel like wasting the food. Careful for the Sashimi, mine was still icy on the inside. Staff was great and collected our plates so fast after we finished. There was a lot of room, but I can see that if there is more of a rush, it would be hard. The Mongolian Grill was nice addition. Don't expect too much and enjoy it for its price and nice restaurant atmosphere.

My kids asked for a buffet so I found the Buffet House and took them there. It was a weekday and busy, but we found somewhere to sit pretty quickly (you seat yourself). The 3 of us cost around $55 for lunch. At first, it didn't seem like tables and plates were being cleared quickly enough, but as we sat there, plates were cleared quickly. I observed that it took the restaurant staff some time to clear tables.The food was okay and as soon as something was running low, it was replenished. There was a good variety of food, but nothing spectacular. I did like the fact that there was the buffet foods, sushi, hibachi, desert, and drinks.Did I mention the restaurant was crowded? I kept bumping in to people because it was really crowded.I probably wouldn't visit again. The food was okay, just not as good as I would have hoped. I would have also liked more seafood besides the sushi, clams, seafood shells, and some kind of crab I had never had before.

Very clean and great prices especially in this day and age! There's a good variety of food available and lots of seating. You pay, seat yourself, and get your own drinks. This place definitely gets busy on the weekends. Tried to come around 6pm on a Saturday and the line was out the door, but attempted again around 5pm the next weekend and got seated fairly quick. Would recommend to try and will come back. Location is adjacent to the trolley center, Target, and perfume stores. This was the old Hometown Buffet.

Pretty good Chinese buffet. I'd make the drive for me although it was a bit out of the way. You pay then seat yourself. The price comes with a drink. There was a decent amount of varieties along with a Mongolian grill. Some of the foods were out since there was quite a bit of people but they did eventually refilled the trays. Once I saw what I had been craving for; mackerel sashimi and hot and sour soup, it stole my heart and I told my husband I had to come with him next time. From the reviews and photos I've recently seen posted of pricing, it looks like it went up for adults. Still cheap in my opinion so I'll definitely be back.

Good place to AYCE buffet. Not a big selection but nothing was bad, which is a win! Everything I ate was good , they even cook your own Mongolian style food with you pick ingredients! Soft drink was included as it should be. The service was efficient-lady at the counter was quick getting they customers and-they cleaned off used food plates quickly. The place has the feeling .flavor of the old Hometown Buffett which is good, but with a new Chinese twist of food!They even have some basic sashimi which is AWESOME!!!For $19 for lunch it wasn't the cheapest, but it was pretty good!!!

The Baked Salmon is absolutely delicious here. Along with the Fried Rice, Green Beans and Bean Sprouts its a wrap. The Salmon Sashimi and Tuna Nigiri are also exceptional. What Buffet has Papaya? This one does, and it's on point. Same for the Pina and Honey Dew Melon.They have Hibachi here as well but I've yet to try it. They have these little tiny yellow peppers in the Salad Bar. They are really good and some of them have a good bite to it also. Highly recommend trying this place out. Drink comes included in the price of admission.

So happy to have buffet places back. Lots of options for Chinese and seafood. A few American dishes to mix in. Loved the Mongolian grill. Some food was a little bland but over all pretty fun, and very spacious.

This has to be one of the best buffet place I been to! I'm from North County and all the Asian buffets in North County are either too expensive or terrible, or both. My parents were in town visiting before Onleave for Boston and they wanted to visit Las Americas outlet, so we ended up eating at this buffet place. This place is the best so far!! The area/ location is very scary and down right ghetto with metal bars on peoples homes.. I wouldn't recommend coming here at night, but lunch is okay and the food was awesome for a Chinese buffet. Even though all the staffs were Mexican instead of Chinese as one would expect, since like 99 % of the poeple in the area are Mexican but they speak English and worked fast to take away the plates. The food was delicious!! Highly recommend this place!

The food quality isn't that great, the crowd is pretty terrible, the service is alright. There are plenty of Chinese food restaurants in the area that are many times better for the same price.
