Buffalo Chip Saloon & Steakhouse

We had a late dinner here on Saturday night and it was pretty busy. We were told to pick a table and someone would be right over.Our server was busy as it looked like he was the only one manning the tables. He came over, dropped off menus, and took our drink orders right away. To eat we ordered:Cheeseburger with friesFried Chicken (4 pieces per order) with friesGrilled chicken sandwich with friesSide of potato saladSide of mac and cheeseOrder of fried picklesThe food didn't take too long and everything was brought out together. Portion wise, these plates were big and everything was delicious! My burger was big, juicy, and cooked perfectly - medium well. My moms chicken sandwich was flavorful and the added poblano pepper gave it the extra yummy kick. My sisters fried chicken was soo good. The chicken was crispy and had great flavor. The fried pickles were soggy so we didn't care for them. If they had been crispy they would've been great! The sides were delish. The mac and cheese had a nice spicy kick and the potato salad was prefect. The french fries were hot and crispy, yumm! The server was attentive and refilled our drinks. He checked up on us a few times and all was great. There was live music playing, people dancing, and everyone was in great spirits.Overall we had an awesome time and I can not wait to be back!

The bouncer I think his name was Matt was extremely inappropriate. Watch out for security if you are a young woman alone. Just be aware and don't let them sweet talk you. Everything was great until that.

Buffalo Chip Saloon in Cave Creek offers a unique and lively atmosphere that's refreshing and different from the norm. While the venue itself is great, I found the food to be just average--not as impressive as I had hoped. On the plus side, the live music and dancing were fantastic, adding to the overall fun experience. The place was quite packed, which contributed to the vibrant and energetic vibe. If you're looking for a good time with some live entertainment, it's worth a visit, but don't expect the food to be the highlight.

What an amazing experience Buffalo Chip has to offer for residents and visitors alike. We reserved a balcony for this event which is an absolute must if you want to have that VIP experience. The food was amazing too. The bbq buffet was really good. The meats were moist and flavorful. Their fish and chips, which had 3 different kinds of fish was delicious too. But honestly, we were so engaged in the bull/sheep riding show, we didn't pay too much attention to eating. The bull riding was really exciting. It was my first time and it's really different from watching it on video. They also offer mechanical bull riding. It was hilarious to watch little kids riding the sheep too.We plan on going back when we have out of town guests. Highly highly recommend!!

Despite the pushback I got at the door for my I.D (i'm 24 years old) this was a great experience. Experiencing bull riding in Arizona is a fun, Western activity, especially at night. The drinks were good and the crowd was really into the riding.

It's HOT, it's an open air concept so expect to sweat the night away. The service was weird, when I walked in there were approximately 10 other guests inside in 3 separate groups yet it took 5-10 minutes for the server to say hello and drop a menu. He asked me to call him Z, he was kind but in my hour visit he interrupted my meal and asked if I was okay 12-15 times. The brisket, chicken and green beans were flavorless, I honestly thought I had Covid because I couldn't taste anything. The sausage was the only thing I would recommend, I got the three meat plate which had brisket, sausage, and chicken. I was kind of starving after not enjoying the plate so I ordered jalapeño poppers and those were even less flavorful. I will definitely not be back, sorry guys.

Review about the dancing: because the dance floor is in this outdoor/indoor setting, it gets VERY hot!!!! I am not native to Arizona so very quickly I felt faint/nauseous from dancing in the heat. this place would easily be my favorite place i've ever been if the temperature was lower / if it were indoors. I'll be back here in the fall / winter!!!

Strong drinks. Good music. Entertaining dancing. Friendly atmosphere. Solid people watching. What more can you ask for!?

Buffalo chip must've gotten a whole new security staff. Came across quite a few a$$holes last night (no I wasnt doing anything wrong just communicating with them as its their job) hire staff that does their job but also brings good energy but its an easy way to get someone to leave and go across the street when your staff is being rude for absolutely no reason. Many girls in the mechanical bull line were disgusted by this man pictured below attitude for absolutely no reason. Put someone with a personality in charge of something thats supposed to be fun next time! Tip hat with 0$ in it for a reason

What a great atmosphere. The food has been good when we've gone and Annalise, our server, was very kind and treated us well.
