My favorite local restaurant! So happy to have a location in Gilbert after frequent the N. Scottsdale and Phx locations. Good, fresh, high quality seafood flown in daily in Arizona is not easy to come by! They have an awesome every day happy hour til 7 in the bar/sushi bar and outdoor bar areas with $10 signature cocktails and full appetizers available in the normal menu. Please be aware they don't take reservations for happy nor is it available in the main restaurant. Service has always been subpar and the vibes are right! Revolving oysters flown in daily- how can you go wrong?!Some reccomendations see photos - Ace in The Hole Cocktail (on HH)- Hamachi Crudo- Trofie Pasta- Spicy Salmon Tartare (hh)- JT's Broilers- Oysters (obviously!! on hh) - Shrimp Ceviche (hh)

Right when you walk into the restaurant, it take you out of that AZ desert vibe and into this contemporary elegant cabin feeling. Our server Kacie was friendly and very attentive where she constantly checked on her even though we sat in the corner for Happy Hour. As for our food: Oysters: 5/5- they have a few selections from mild to briny and all $2.50 for HH. Brussels Sprouts- 5/5 perfectly crisps with balsamic vinaigrette with almonds Ahi Tuna crispy rice- 4.5/5- lightly fried with fresh tuna on top. However the ratio of Tuna could've been more Yellowtail Snapper- 5/5- fresh fish lightly coated with panko served with a buttery Casper sauce.

Great service! First time to this location. Had a girls day out for oyster day! Ordered oysters, JT boiler oysters, mussels and wine and everything was delicious.I would definitely be back!

Buck & Rider is one of my family's favorite restaurants! Love their concept, "Thoughtfully sourced seafood from around the world flown in fresh daily."It's our go-to for celebrations, meeting friends, family outings, date nights, or just because. We've been a handful of times and they have been very consistent.Reservations are highly recommended, especially on weekends to avoid long waits. Service is pleasant and attentive. They are very good about communicating wait times. The vibes are immaculate. The have a great patio equipped with string lights, umbrellas, and a fireplace. Perfect for cooler months.The food is excellent! We haven't had anything we didn't like. We always get oysters, one of the fish specials, and fries, but everything is fresh and deliciously prepared. Can't go wrong with anything here!

I just love their oysters so much I ordered 20 of them. To my surprise, they gave me an additional one on the house. How nice! During their happy hour which is everyday from 3-7pm, they're only $2.25 a piece so it's a great deal. We also ordered their shrimp ceviche and asked and got extra chips. It was a bit too citrusy. I think not adding so much acid would help. Also tried a different dish- tuna tartare which has rice on the bottom and real wasabi on top and had a great kick. Always a positive experience here!

The wait is atrocious but worth it. Decided to stop by for a quick bite on a hot day. The gazpacho (Spanish cold soup) was so refreshing. The raw oysters were delicious--creamy and sweet yet briney. No metallic taste as you can get with lower quality oysters. I enjoyed the sashimi as well. Excited to go back and try the full menu. The service was professional and efficient. You are welcome to grab drinks at the bar while you wait. However it can get crowded and overwhelming; I would recommend exploring the Agritopia area instead.

WOW! Upon walking in on a Saturday afternoon, we were greeted kindly by the hostess and sat immediately as a party of 3. They have an extensive menu full of FRESH seafood that gets flown in daily according to our server. My friends ordered Prosecco, Brussel sprouts, and biscuits to start. For an entree, my friend and I ordered the same things: hamachi crudo and the steak salad. The steak salad was so delicious! The steak was flavorful and paired so well with the salad, including the vinaigrette. It was so fresh and very well done -- arguably one of the best salads I have ever had. And oh my -- the hamachi was DIVINE! The fish was super fresh and absolutely delicious. I actually called my parents to let them know I found a new restaurant for us to try when they visit again. Also let my boyfriend know that I want him to take me here for our next date night. Yes, it was in fact THAT delicious and some of the best food I have had in a while. We will absolutely be back for more!

We just did a walk in for brunch around 10:30 this morning. Second visit to this restaurant. First one was good too. Everyone there is just so nice and the restaurant is lovely and just smells like fresh food which my body was needing. We had the fantastic ceviche with extra tortilla crisps and it really is like my most favorite thing on the planet! Then the soft shell crab sushi roll was seasonal and DELICIOUS hubby wanted a trough of the sauce it was served on. And last the crab cake with grilled asparagus on a stone ground mustardy sauce ( sauce so good I asked for more to go!). The crab cake is so dense and one easily was shared between us. But best of all was our adorable server Alex. She's just a little ball of happiness and chatted with us about the food and the area. Great service -so quick and she just made it over the top! Definitely will be back.

Kimberly was our server, and she was exceptional! She gets 5 stars for sure! We got seated quickly, the food was excellent, and we loved the ambiance of the whole place.
