Bubble Maki

This is a lovely affordable takeout / delivery sushi joint! I ordered a ton of rolls to try and really enjoyed each of them. The sushi is well described- each roll is as ordered with no surprises and came well packaged! I tried the tuna rolls, salmon rolls, crab, and a mango shrimp roll. The spicy crab roll was really the stand out roll of the bunch- it was spicy and very yummy. The thing that sets this sushi spot apart from others is the sauces. I should've ordered one of each sauce because the ones I tried were bomb- the wasabi, sriracha, avocado, soy, ponzu- it was fun dipping each piece in a different sauce! Get a bunch of sauces!!! This is a really solid fast, affordable, and tasty sushi spot if you need a new delivery/ takeout option. The boba tea was also delicious. I got the black tea and jasmine- but were scrumptious and only $6 with PLENTY of boba.

Affordable and quick! The maki rolls are higher quality "fast food".. think Chipotle vs Taco Bell. I ordered from UberEats last month, and they had a bogo promo- it was so worth it and allowed me to try more! Recommend for a lunch or a light dinner.I tried their spicy crab and mango shrimp. Both were well made and had good flavors- very fresh. The packaging was so neat and clean. However, I was disappointed they forgot to include straws for the bubble teas! I definitely struggled!

Felt like trying some new sushi out and Bubble Maki hit the spot that's for sure!I was especially hungry and ended up ordering 3 rolls. Im definitely a texture eater so having the two crunchy rolls was a great choice. I especially enjoyed the crunchy Avocado Tuna roll.Two other things I have to mention other than the rolls are actually the sauces. They're delicious. I definitely enjoyed the Sriracha aioli the most. It's a great level of spice and creaminess. It's nice to have something a little different than the usual Wasabi and soy sauce.The little touch that made my day was the pickled asparagus. I've never had it before but it was a nice change up.Definitely will be coming back!

This review is going to be based on my experience with ordering delivery. I would have give this place 5 stars but I felt like I didn't get to experience my expectations. I ordered two rolls one crunchy avocado tuna and one mango shrimp roll. The tuna roll was delicious, you can taste the freshness in the ingredients. Second roll was the disappointment. They completely forgot the mango and toppings and sent me the shrimp rolls. I was really looking forward to that one especially. Also I know they have special sauces to try, but they only gave 2 soy sauce packets for this entire order. Overall I wish I got what I ordered and sometimes mistakes happen. I ordered 2 mango rolls so I'm not sure they would forget twice. I hope one day to go back and try some of their other items.

Always looking for a new sushi place, and Bubble Maki didn't disappoint. The order was well packed and nicely presented, no spills on the bubble tea either .The crunchy avocado had a good crunch, and I stole a few california rolls from my partner and they were also really good. Generous portions on each. For me, the dipping sauces are where it's at. A nice twist on the standard sushi experience! Sesame sauce was a little subtle for my taste, but sohyu was really flavorful and avocado fusion was smooth and tart -- really nice. I'd like the option to include standard wasabi and ginger. I would also totally do a "sauce flight" so I could try a bunch at once.

I love the idea of this place!! They have a huge sauce selection which is something I have never seen before! The speciality rolls all come with a different sauce. The tofu sushi was amazing, it had kimchi in it! Overall the sushi was pretty good, nothing special.

New Sushi and Bubble Tea restaurant in Chicago.I couldn't decide what sauce to get so I tried 3.These sauces are absolutely amazing and the rolls come with 10 pieces.I can't wait to try the other saucesand the Bubble Teas.

Such a bizarre spot. Cheap and honestly not great quality. The Salmon is cooked which was a disappointment and the jalapeño was pickled also a weird choice.2/10 recommend, I would only from here if I was desperate but probably not even then.

Finally a fast casual sushi place in Chicago with great quality food!! The food was so delicious! This will definitely be my go to place for lunch. The spicy crab roll is my favorite, super fresh. I love all of the different dipping sauce options, especially the wasabi aioli, it is the perfect spice level.HIGHLY recommend!!

I ordered a Bubble Maki Fruit Tea / Jasmine Green Tea which was deliciously sweet and everything I wanted in a tea.The Crunchy Wasabi Salmon roll is where it's at. No other sushi place includes this much salmon per roll. These are huge salmon pieces and well worth the price! Plus the wasabi sauce is just the right amount of spicy and if you get the Kung Pao Sauce on the side it gets even spicier!Oh and they don't skimp on the mango on the shrimp roll either. Definitely a change of pace from the usual sushi rolls, and well worth it!
