Bubba Flame Broiled Burger

Sometimes we go out of our way to drive the extra miles and minutes south just to get us a Bubba Burger. Something about them. The flame broiling? I'd say so. They're not fancy, crazy, over-the-top modern catastrophes. Just simple flavorful burgers with homemade chips. And the folks are always nice. Super popular.

People are saying it's closed but it's not! 5 stars! If there were 10, I'd give it a 10! Best burger I've had in years! Onion rings were legit too! Grab extra napkins to clean up as these are messy goodness.

Note that as of October they are closed for the seasonwow, what an awesome burger and an awesome priceI got the loaded 1/2 pound burger and it was outstandingthe house made chips were great toopossibly the best place to eat on the entire island !!!!!!!!

Fabulous burgers. This place is totally awesome. Love all the different burgers which makes it easier for the kids to pick a favorite. Only thing is I wish they were open 7 days a week. Just opened for the season. It's cold waiting but the food is ready it's awesome.

You must hit this sport when visiting Whidbey. They are not open all the time, so you have to get the timing right. The people are super friendly and professional. The burger will be just how you want it.

My loaded quarter pounder was an excellent burger. Better than many I've had in seattle. My wife loved her veggie burger as well. Burgers come with freshly made chips that are quite tasty, better than any others I've had. Cash or check only.

Excellent flame broiled burger, comes with chips, very friendly and accomidative to kids. Will keep coming back!

No need to breakdown the levels of each ingredient because it all just comes together like that perfect day where everything is just right in the universe.They have homemade tater chips. Home...made...TATER CHIPS! Done right too. I don't think they had salt on em...and that's perfectly fine with me.I hear ya need to get there early because they're a hit and a lot of people go there.You know it's good when a shop will go silent because everyone is enjoying their food. From their fish tacos to burgers...all were happy!

New Owners.New fries instead of chips.New burgers. Smaller. Dry. More seasoning with too much salt.Was expecting the original Bubba Burger. Got the Orlando's burger. Maybe a name change would help.You can't fix perfect! But you can change the name and hope people like the new burger.

Why buy a business and then discontinue its best product? The fries are OK, but no reason to stop over. The chips the old Bubba Burger had were worth crossing the island for. This was so disappointing and I don't understand why in the world they wouldn't continue the best food item on the menu!
