The Breubennnnnnn!!! If you are a Reuben fanatic, you will LOVE the spin on this sandwich! Pastrami, Swiss Cheese, Pickled Jalapeno Relish, House Sauce (kind of mustardy i think), Sauerkraut, Hoagie Roll, and Fries!! The pickled jalapeno relish and house sauce were a fabulous touch. This was my first time in, but I'll come back just for this, which was all due to an employee (think he was a bartender) named Rick. Dude, Thanks for the recommendations from the food to the beer and on to the mixed drinks; that Chaotic Energy was freaking delicious!!! Everyone that hasn't come to Bru's should certainly add it to the bucket list. Pizza lovers welcome too, from what I saw at other tables, the pizzas are a huge hit.

Had high hopes when I walked in. Great atmosphere with huge tvs scattered about. Plenty of seating. Looked like a fun place for food and friends. You sat yourself. Server was friendly and welcoming. Word of warning: They DO NOT have allergy protocols in place. That severely limited what I could eat. I have a shellfish allergy and was informed all proteins are cooked on the same grill, including shrimp.I opted for the 12 inch pepperoni pizza which cost a whopping $16. That's not a typo. My wife and daughter split the spicy chicken nachos. Food came out fast and it was fresh. Pizza was ok. Good not great. Not worth $16. Nachos were also good $13. Wife had a cocktail called Cruel Summer and daughter got sangria. Drinks were good. I guess I'm still adjusting to inflation and restaurant prices. Nachos and 12 inch pizza for $29? Ridiculous. The food filled our bellies but there was nothing to bring us back. The lack of allergy protocols deducted one star from the rating. Best part is the experience was our server. She was helpful and went out of her way to get me the allergy information. Will I go back? No....other options out there for a better value.

I came with 5 other people and we sat ourselves. There weren't any paper menus, they are on QR codes in the tables.First of all, they have a great variety of beer on tap. I didn't expect to see Mexican Cake on draft, but there it was, I hadn't seen that since I visited South Carolina a few years ago. Food wise, the fresh cut fries were really good. One friend had the French dip, one of his faves. My friends got the fried chicken nachos, I did get a few bites in and none of us expected what we got. there were so many levels of spice, between the jalapenos, hot honey, and the chicken was so spicy! And I like heat well enough, but we were coughing! Apparently they make their own dry rub, but this batch was way too hot. I almost started eating the jalapenos to cool my mouth down.Service was prompt enough. The location is solid in Wake Park, kind of a lesser known area but still centrally located.

Sat at the bar after work. Had the burratta. It was pretty standard but the cheese was really good. The beer was good. The staff was efficient.

Went here before a show at PNC! We were sure to get here early around 4:30ish since it gets very crowded before events at PNC! It was seat yourself and they had QR codes on the tables for drink and food menus. Our server was great and very attentive! They had a good selection of beers - I really liked the soda machine sour! Food was yummy - I had the fried chicken sandwich.

This was a nice place to watch the NC State vs ND game. We got there a little before game time, and it wasn't crowded at all. It did get busier as time went on. We started with the truffle fries, which was a huge plate. They were good but a little saltier than I usually like. I got the wings, which are a dry rub and come with buffalo sauce. They are hot! Be prepared if you don't like wings too spicy. I also tried two of their sours and liked both of them. Great service too. They were consistently coming by to ask if we needed anything.

Alright, first review of 2023: This area is insane on a Carolina Hurricane's game day. On top of that, on this Saturday, it was a NC State Wolfpack basketball game on the same day. Restaurants were completely slammed full until we stumbled across Bru's fairly close to the PNC arena. Let's break it down.Pros:- Beer selection. I recommend the Pomme-Pom cider. Probably, my favorite beer/cider I've ever had. Very refreshing. - Classic bar menu (in a good way). We're talking pizzas, burgers, chicken sandwiches, etc. Stuff I want when I'm drinking some of those Pomme-Pom drinks I hated saying out loud, haha.- Presentation. Take a look at my chicken sandwich. That looks like something straight out of a magazine. Awesome job with presentation.- Quantity of food. I'm big on this one. The worst feeling is leaving a restaurant not full. I very rarely leave food on my plate, but after eating the buffalo chicken pizza as an appetizer my (humongous) chicken sandwich defeated me. I very rarely get defeated. - Ambiance. When you walk in it's nice and dark with a nice modern touch. Cons:- I try to do at least one: My wife's grilled cheese had a smidge too much butter on it (for her preference). Total preference issue. Again, restaurants were packed because of everything going on Saturday. We found this place very last minute because most places had a 45 minute plus wait. We got some drinks and a buffalo chicken pizza as an appetizer (I'd recommend). I got a chicken sandwich (arguably the biggest chicken sandwich I've ever had in my life) with fries. I'd recommend it as well. My wife had the adult grilled cheese with tomato soup which she enjoyed pretty well. So yeah if you're in town for a Carolina Hurricane's game I'd recommend this place. After a four hour car trip from South Carolina it was nice to stumble upon this place.

Bru's has some big flavors going on!My family is in town for the weekend from Chicago, and we came here right from the airport looking for a quick dinner. The atmosphere is super chill and we love the decor. As for the food, well, just wow! We had the Alabama fried chicken nachos, which kick in just the right way with great heat. The burrata salad is beautifully made, the cheese the perfect consistency and not too salty, with the delicious heirloom tomatoes and peaches a great complement. Their French dip is fantastic. Great bread to meat ratio and the jus is absolutely perfect. Our son is a connoisseur of pepperoni pizza, and theirs measures up beautifully. It has a great thin crust and great balance of flavor. Overall, great experience, great service, great start to our weekend!
