Brunello Ristorante

Ive lived near by this place for 2 years and have always driven by but decided to try it for the hoots. It looked pretty authentic and I studied abroad in Italy too so I was like let's see how it goes. I made a reservation but when I walked in it seemed like I didn't need one it wasn't too busy. Ordered the carbonara and the ragu and lemme just say it was honestly the best pasta I've ever had. You can tell the pasta was soo soo fresh I wouldn't doubt they had some guy growing wheat and making the pasta right there as I ordered it. The carbonara was creamy rich and with a nice touch of adding chicken while the ragu was bold and meaty just the way I like it (pause). I do wish it had some more larger chunks of meat to bite on tho instead of it being like a meat sauce. Just my opinion tho next time I might add a meatball or something. Desserts were good, I wish it had a little more structure to it as it was kinda flat but it tasted great. Service was good, I do wish it had complimentary great tho. Another thing tho is after my meal I wasn't full and I definitely wanted more food. This is the kinda place where you go for the flavour rather than to get full unless you order more. All these are just nit picks and if you like pasta this is the place to try!

The restaurant is beautiful, old school Italian with white tablecloths and REAL cloth napkins. The manager seated us and was very hospitable and made sure that everything was as expected. Now...the food... E X C E L L E N T!!!! I had the pear and Gorgonzola salad, my husband had the Caesar salad. For our main course, I had the lobster ravioli with shrimp and my husband had linguine with seafood.I highly recommend Brunello restaurante.Oh, and service is excellent!

Not happy with this place. It is definitely presented as fine dining, and really seems like it would be from the outside, but sadly the food is not worth the price to me. The service could've been better and there are no prices on the menu. Looks like other reviewers were impressed with the gnocchi, which I should've gotten. My dish was good, but I expected a little more flavor. The sauce was quite bland.My real issue was that when I was dining (just me and my spouse, I wanted a nice atmosphere)--a woman had brought her dog in and was feeding it on the table. Mind you, I have a dog myself but wouldn't think to bring him to really any dining establishment , especially on a Saturday night. I heard barking and on the way to the restroom I saw the dog dining and eating off the plates. I'm wondering how that even was allowed, big yikes. I was turned off of eating after that.

If you are in the Roosevelt area and looking for a place with a great atmosphere and delicious Italian food, I highly recommend this restaurant. However, I suggest that you make a reservation if you plan to dine on a Friday or Saturday evening as it tends to fill up quickly. The staff is attentive and friendly, and the food is served promptly even when they are busy. Overall, this restaurant is a perfect spot to enjoy some mouth-watering Italian cuisine.

Very sweet service - our server made the effort to go back to the kitchen and ask "how much" wheat flour was in the gnocchi, as I'm gluten intolerant but can handle a little. We ended up going with a mushroom risotto, which was incredible. Our drinks were strong and well-balanced, too - we felt super fancy for a very reasonable price. Definitely recommend this place!

Food was pretty good. We really loved the garlic bread. The pesto fettuccine was really nice too! Service was good. Ambiance was family style as expected.

Starting off with Adam was awesome. He gave us great wine recommendations and talk us through everything until we finally made a decision. But the food... the food is what I'll be back for, hats off the chef. One of the best steaks I have had in my life. Great service, great food, nice atmosphere for a date night. I have no clue how this place wasn't packed.

I made a reservation for 4 people. We had ordered Caesar Salad & Penne Vodka. The seasoning on the Penne Vodka was delicious with just enough sauce.They have street parking and outdoor/indoor seating. The chef stopped by our table to do a introduction. Food is excellent and the service feels like a traditional dining room in an Italian home - outstanding experience. We will come again!

Amazing! The food was super good and not over priced. The service was very nice and felt like my Italian relatives. Will be coming back for sure
