Bru Chicago

Brü Chicago was a pleasant place to relax and do some work. The ambiance is amazing- warm, homey, restful. There's a section in the back that's low and intimate, perfect for studying or for a thoughtful conversation. The service is very nice, the staff are all so friendly and the crepes are tasty too! We got a strawberry matcha crepe. Overall, a nice and cozy place to come for a small bite and a nice chat.

Was in the neighborhood looking for a treat that wasn't too decadent. I saw that Bru had crepes and that sounded like the perfect treat at the time. I was pleased to see that their Rice Crepes are Gluten-Free. We ordered a Wild Berry Mascarpone Crepe that hit the spot. The interior of this place is beautiful, and I would love to try some of their specialty drinks sometime.

The decor is beautiful, if not a bit confusing. Definitely worth it for a cute picture. It was nearly impossible to find a seat, as every table was taken up by people working on their computers (not eating.) The service was not particularly friendly but our food did come out quickly. I got the blue cheese crepe and literally did not put it down from the first bite, it was amazing and I will be returning for that. Would love to see some regulation on using tables to work though.

Absolutely love the unique crepe concept here! We got the English breakfast crepe and it had so much flavor and the ingredients were so fresh with the tomatoes and greens too. We also got the açaí bowl and it was the perfect smoothie bowl texture with good toppings! Both are reasonably priced also.The coffee drinks are sooooo good too! The cappuccino was perfect and so was the matcha. Such good foam on the top. There are lots of seating options and great space to work too. I love the fancy chandeliers and cool light fixtures. I will definitely be back!

Omg, can I rate a place 10 stars?? I'd say it's one of the best coffee shop, beverages and definitely the best crepe shop I've ever been to. I had the goat cheese crepe, and immediately went back and tried the teriyaki crepe. I really loved how they were able to make everything so vegan-friendly really quickly. They served the crepes perfectly - huge, and while it's on the pricey side, the quality makes it definitely worth the money. I thought the staff were also super sweet and attentive.I feel like what makes Bru special is that they literally thought of everything. Even the mismatched antique chairs and couches work with the chandeliers. I loved the atmosphere and I come to do light work/studying as it never seems to get too loud inside. Some people also meet up for crepes - honestly, it's also the best place to go after a workout also. Seriously try it, you won't regret it!!

This place was so cute! Really amazing coffee and nice vibes. The workers were also very sweet. They had one of the more spacious coffee shops I have seen in the Chicago area.

The drink was very good and refreshing, not to mention fulling too because of the vegan protein which is a great pro! They do have lots of other good drink options as well as a wide variety of rice crepes (that are zabiha halal!) in a cone. The atmosphere is chill with lots of seating options to work, study, or just hang out. They're also a rare coffee/chill spot that's open late in the city. Highly recommend!

We stopped by Brü after dinner next door at Kama. I was actually surprised that I had previously been here in 2016, based on my previous review. They must have changed their layout because it was a bit different that what I was describing. I don't have any recollection of being here prior though!There is ample seating. The seating decor is a bit eclectic. The space seems very big. The counter is placed in the middle of the cafe. Their menu consisted of coffees and teas, and also desserts.I ended up getting the chamomile tea, since it was later in the evening. It was a bit pricy for tea.I don't know if I'll be coming back, but I did like that they were open later.

What a unique place! In the middle of busy storefronts, cars, bikes and trains in Milwaukee St. Wicker Park, Chicago. If you're visiting, you must come here. Good relaxed vibe, great drinks and foods. Very clean and fun. Music plays fun tunes as part of the ambiance. Some people come to study and work here, others to eat and meet up friends. The staff is very friendly and patient with first comers.

I go here all the time! Whether to study or read, grab a quick bite to eat or drink. The menu has coffee and teas, and yummy delicious savory and sweet crepes. The staff is so nice too. They call out the order not your name in public which I appreciate. The shop is very large and accommodates many sized groupings of people, even with more seating in the back. One all gendered bathroom. It's cozy and quirky in a cool way with awesome decor. I love it here! Can't wait to go back soon.
