Definitely a hole in the wall location. Ribs were good. Hard to find some decent ones on the southside. These were worth the trip. Will try the chicken next.

I've only been twice but I can honestly say they are 2/2 honestly. Liver was amazing and I definitely don't eat everyone liver and the smothered pork chops were amazing. Peach cobbler............ honestly at a loss of words

This place is def what you would consider a hole in the wall restaurant ... which is neither good nor bad. Lots of choices to pick from cafeteria style. The choices are one meat and 3 sides for $6.50 def can't beat that price. So I choose the baked chicken with broccoli & rice casserole , pinto beans, and corn. Then added a side of spaghetti for $3. The portions size were great esp for the price.Out of those things the chicken was great the beans were great however the broccoli and rice casserole was horrible and the corn taste like it was straight from the can. The spaghetti was ok not the best not the worst but it was just $3 so who can complain. I would try again but with different sides.

No flavor whatsoever! There was barely any seasoning to my food, both the smothered chicken and pork chops with gravy! The yams were decent, but the casserole was made of mostly just mushy, over cooked rice with barely any of the broccoli or cheese! Same goes for the macaroni. Beyond disappointed! Do not recommend!

I have been to this restaurant several times & decided to write a review. It's clean & tidy. I ordered meatloaf (very tasty reminds me of my meatloaf) Mac & cheese (creamy) yam (cooked to perfection) & green beans (very good I think that they put in a pinch of ACV?)! Fast friendly service! This is my go to restaurant!
