This place is terrible this sweet barbecue as they call is very bad I have no idea what this is food was cold beans had no flavor never again

My original review was 2 Stars, this one is a 1 Star. It won't improve as I will not return. Total waste of money as they serve very nasty food. The potato's were dried out, didn't eat. The greens had a weird old flavor, didn't eat. The beans had a vinegary dirty dishwater taste, didn't eat. The ox tail, was good, ate it all along with some of the rice which was not tender, but slightly crunchy.

Man. This place felt nostalgic. Went here on a Saturday early morning, only me and my mother. We was the only ones there except for one guy enjoy bread and watching the news. But when I tell you, this breakfast was so of the best I've had at a restaurant. The grits were perfect and buttery, seasoned with cheese on them. (We requested cheese)! The bacon had some bite to it almost as if it was jalapeño or just seasoned, which was great. And the eggs were solid. All in all, a solid 9 for me. Definitely will be here again for the breakfast.

Every dish I've tried had been delicious. Owners friendly, and very affordable prices. All around a great restaurant.

Had the two meat plate combo with two sides. The BBQ brisket was tender but somewhat dry. Sausage was similar. The flavor was average and not "oh my god amazing". Not bad though. Did hit the BBQ spot and a good place if you're craving it when in the area. A little under $20 after tax with a side order of peach cobbler.

I came here many times while working in the area. Seems the owners have changed but still as good as I remember. I don't remember these prices tho. Give the a try.

For me, this place missed every mark. Ordering the food was similar to going through a cafeteria line, including the scowling lady at the cash register, at the end of the line. Yes, she wasn't hospitable and friendly looking. She just told me my total, waited for my payment, and I just sought out a table in the sea of all of the open tables. I wonder when the lunch rush starts?I ordered a two meat plate, with sausage and lean brisket. I opted for the "spicy BBQ sauce" and was anxious to see what that was like. Green beans plus beans and rice rounded out the meal. First off, the serving size of the meal seemed to be limited to the size of the small, Styrofoam plates that look as if they came from the local grocery store. Next, the food was not tasty, at all. The BBQ sauce tasted as if someone added a couple of drops of sauce into 4 ounces of water. It was very watered down and there was not spice to it. The sausage reminded me of store bought, packaged links and the brisket was not memoarable. It was some of the worst BBQ I've had in a long time. Most of the reviews are about the breakfast and others seems to be very nostalgic of a place that's been around for a while. I don't see coming back to this restraurant.

LOVE their baked potatos, they are definitely NOT shy about the toppings! Very friendly and cute place to eat at!

If you want the most tender good to d bone oxtails, Brown Sugar Bar B Que is the restaurant to visit. The ribs, sauages, brisket with cornbread is also great. Plus staff service is on point, very helpful and friendly. AND they were open at 7am!!!

The food is wonderful especially the breakfast. The staff treat your rude nice and help you more than ever. Make sure you try the pecan pie
