Outstanding service tonight. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The bacon blue cheeseburger was excellent as always. Tried the special fried chicken sandwich with spicy mayo sauce, dill pickles, lettuce and tomato and it was excellent. The chicken was tender, hot and juicy. Could have used a bit of salt but that was my only issue. The fries were amazing too, hot and crisp. The bar itself was its normal loud active environment. Great place for burgers and drinks!

My companion said this was a must stop for their chili and the menu does say it is award winning. It was 9am and I wasn't feeling like chili so opted for the small brunch menu (full menu available). I got the half order of biscuits and gravy which had a very flavorful gravy. Egg and meat came with it. The egg was served on top of the biscuit and gravy. I opted for a side of potato which was thickly diced and seasoned well. Eclectic decoration in the bar with sports and local items. Large two sided space. Service was good but we were the only ones there for a little while as we got there when they opened. Will have to try the chili for lunch or dinner another time.

Great food and service. We came here on a Saturday night after a whale watching trip and we were HUNGRY. I didn't have high expectations since this looked like a place with typical bar food, but I was very surprised with the quality of the food.This place had one of the best fish and chips I've ever had. Very flavorful and good batter. Also loved the tartar sauce that came with it. The chicken skewers were so delicious as well. The calamari rings were okay. The servers were very attentive and funny and overall it was great service. They also had live music starting at 9pm. We were outdoors and couldn't hear it very well but from what we could hear, he sounded very good! I'd definitely come back here the next time we're in Anacortes!

Always my go to spot when I'm in town. Love the food and staff. We come for breakfast, lunch and dinner and always enjoy it. Late night (for Anacortes) dinner with the husband when he gets into town is always nice.

Best Chili! Yummy fish tacos! The staff is great. Everyone checked on us to see if we needed anything. Can't wait to go back. Tre made me the best Lemon Drop Martini!!!

Cute pub in the heart of downtown Anacortes. we were on our annual trip to Anacortes and this is one of our must stops for the Ruben.. There is a family side and a bar side of the pub. So anyone can enjoy the awesome homey food. On the bar side there is jerseys and sports memorabilia that line the ceiling and walls random art that seem odd but I rather enjoyed the choices. They have a hot sauce rack to choose from. Seriously give this place a go if your in town.. The bartender was our server he was fast and efficient at refilling or ice tea, placing our order and cashing us out. We order Mac and cheese wedges: 4/5 super creamy, beer batter on the outside was crispy.. definitely awesome cheat while on vacation. Ruben: 5/5 this is our main reason we came it's the best Ruben sandwich my husband and I have had. Marble rye was perfect, pastrami was tender and super flavorful . They make it in house it's seriously killer. The thousand island on compliments it so well. Chili: 4/5 super hearty, slightly spicy. Chili has beans, ground beef and packs on flavor. I didn't think it was spicy but my husband said it had some kick.. tots: 5/5 super fluffy on the inside crispy on the outside. You can hear the crunch.. awesome seasoning salt.

We visited this establishment again but for dinner. It was very good! I had the pork sliders which were moist and delicious- the bbq sauce was very sweet and tasty. My husband had the wrangler burger which came with fries and he said it was very good and worth another visit. Service was excellent. They even had my drink 'the rusty nail' which is very hard to find in Anacortes. It was made perfectly.

Short-staffed for peak summer.This place is popular and totally unprepared for the later-than-anticipated, peak-summer rush. Came by with a friend on a Sunday evening at 7pm and was informed that we would need to wait 20 minutes before ordering food because the kitchen was backed up. After 40 minutes wait - and 2 rounds of drinks- we were finally able to place our orders (2 Greek salads). We would have ordered fish and chips or other pub food, but we're worried we would never eat if we had to wait for cook time!The salads were great, but took about 30 more minutes to arrive. All that said, the bartenders and kitchen staff are phenomenal and deserve medals of bravery for taking on the summer crowd while under-resourced!

We were looking for someplace to eat and stumbled across this place. They have a nice variety of menu options. We also had three employees check with us before we even had food.I had The Remmy which sounded really good... And it was. The Remmy sauce was a perfect amount of spiciness. The burger did have some redness in one spot but it was a thick burger so no big deal.We also had the fish tacos and BLT, both were very good. The only shortcoming was despite the attention prior to our food,no one checked in after that. Luckily there were not any issues. We will be back.

I don't know why people love these burgers. They're undercooked. Red/pink inside. You can do that safely with steak, but not with ground beef. I ordered a new one, specifically requested a well-done burger (I was visibly pregnant, obviously food safety is a big deal) and was given a similarly undercooked patty the second time. We got up and left, and have never gone back.
