Brothers Marketplace - Cambridge

AMAZING STORE! I walked in 5 minutes after opening, and the place is well laid out, has a center area for freshly made sandwiches, a soup corner with 5 different varieties of soup, and a large selection of pre-made meals, from pastas and sub sandwiches, to wraps and meat and rice dishes.The reason why this store is so welcome, is because Kendall Square does not have a proper place to buy groceries or get food supplies for the office from. We have plenty of coffee shops and cafes, but no grocery store within miles.We'll see how the quality holds up over time, but this is an excellent start for them!

Very friendly, upscale market located in Cambridge (reminds me of Whole Foods). The scalloped potatoes at the hot bar are the best I've tried. Picked up some great organic foods, and the staff is so friendly and helpful - they even have automated checkout. I can't wait to go back.

Parking is a ripoff. All signs say $20 purchase at store you can get your parking validated. Meaning if you spend more than $20 at brothers, your parking is free. I was there for 10 mins and paid $16 in parking as my $40 grocery receipt is only good for 50% off my parking. Be clearer with your signs

Stopped by Brothers Marketplace for the first time, and it left a great impression!Came here on a whim to grab a last minute produce item. Searched on Yelp for the closest supermarket near me at the time Brothers was the first market that popped up.The market was super duper clean and organized. The shelves were almost in pristine condition since all the products were pushed to the front giving it the illusion of a fully-stocked shelf. The fruits, vegetables and meats were displayed beautifully for a grocery store and was very fresh! As for pricing, I'd say it's on the higher end, but for its quality, it all makes sense. The hot bar and prepared foods all looked so delicious! It would be hard NOT to buy something to try. I bought the tuna and salmon sashimi set, and the fish tasted super fresh. I also tried their frozen birthday cake cookie dough and mango mochi. Those two were fun to try, but I could do without.

I stayed in the area for two weeks and came here almost every morning. There coffee is very good for the price and they have a lot of options at the deli. Good place to go for a quick breakfast or lunch.

Honestly it's really uncomfortable to shop here with wokers following you around and profiling you thinking you'll steal stuff. Good for all the workers in the area for lunch breaks, but if you live here; way better options to shop. Wont be coming back.

I Work Across The Street and I frequent this market more than I should, with that being said the women at the deli counter are extremely rude!! I try to avoid the deli counter when I can by getting a grab and go option because going to the counter is always an experience and not a pleasant one. I literally get ignored, the women look me directly in my face and still continue to talk amongst themselves. They have no sense of urgency and lack communication and common courtesy skills

I love this grocery store! I'm staying a couple of weeks at the nearby Kendall Hotel, and this is the perfect distance away to stock up on lunches (salads, wraps, etc) and snacks. While it's not the biggest store, the selection is amazing. They have so many options and I was able to find everything I needAnd don't get me started on their prepared foods! They have so many options and they are so delicious. Not your standard grocery store wrap! I did think some of the prices for prepared food was high, but compared to lunch you're going to buy anywhere else nearby it's still a good deal.

So happy to have had Brothers Marketplace near to where we were staying! Like a Whole Foods but not quite! Brothers has an appeal to its layout and color made by flowers at the entrance and pastries to the side. The customer service was friendly and helpful, and the selection of daily fresh foods made it a go-to-spot during our visiting days. But for me, I couldn't believe it ... great coffees for less than $5 :0 Had a cappuccino, latte, and a drip -- yum! A definite spot on your list for best market, prepared meals, and coffee bar!

Horrible hot bar all the food has been sitting out for hours. They give you little cardboard boxes to put your food in that everything seeps out of. They get rid of breakfast at 930 and put lunch out. The tables to eat at are never clean and the tv doesn't even work
