Don't be deceived by the humble appearance of this restaurant. At first glance, your heart rate might go up, and when you step inside, the inside of the facility looks like it just went through a bombing in the Ukraine war. However, the owner and his wife are extremely nice, the prices are very reasonable, and although you can only eat takeout, the food is actually quite good. I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed my afternoon meal. This is not traditional Chinese. This is the "I am craving American Chinese place".Brothers Chinese restaurant is not the place you go to if you're looking for ambience or showmanship. But... one must never judge a book by its cover.Nonetheless, it is a bastion of the local community, and I highly encourage you to support them in their take-out business. This place will be the perfect spot to order takeout when you're having the munchies on a Friday night.Their food is actually very very good, and I got my take-out order in less than 10 minutes. Do not be alarmed by the scary door opening alarm that plays children's music when you walk in. Just yell hello, and the owner will take it from there.In all seriousness: support your local businesses. This married couple and their business was hit really hard with the pandemic and inflation. Their food is solid take out, and I plan to do everything I can to keep supporting them in good faith! They deserve our love as customers!

I've been going to this place since 1997 when I use to live in the apartments next door. We don't go to Brothers for the "ambience" but for the delicious food and the people who work there. This place reminds me of Brooklyn. They're pot stickers and egg roll are the best. My mom loves their egg fu yung and hit and sour soup!

Update: Sat. Feb 18, 2023You can longer dine in. It's take out only. I previously wrote to take out anyway. I went with the Individual meal option that is roughly $15 to $18. You get an egg roll, cup of soup, main entry and rice. It is too much to eat in one seating for me.The online ordering site is the best I have seen. It's a simple step-by-step process with photos. I went with one of there several Individual meal options that is roughly $15 to $18 depending on what you order. I got an egg roll, cup of soup, main vegetarian entry and pork fired rice. It is too much to eat in one seating for me. Just note there is a service fee (which makes sense and is the typical 3%-ish). However it doesn't appear until the every end of the ordering process. I comes after the tip option. I can't figure out how this place manages to stay afloat. I am just glad they are still around. Little restaurants like this with big dreams is the American success stories I like to support.

I ordered online last night for delivery. I had NEVER eaten at this place, thought I would try it. I order the beef with brocolli, hot & sour soup, (as a combo) Pot stickers. Everything was awful, flavor wise. There was tons of food, but I hated it!

Chicken was so well done it was chewy. The very small amount of sauce they gave me was not even enough for a quarter of the almond fried chicken and the soup had no flavor what so ever. I asked for barbecue pork fried rice and they mixed it with chicken chow mein. It was an absolute waste of 30 dollars and a 10 dollar tip. I'm highly disappointed and will not go again.
