Over the past few months, I've had the opportunity to see two great shows at Brooklyn Bowl, Two Door Cinema Club and Bombay Bicycle Club. Brooklyn Bowl is such a unique venue for concerts, providing an intimate experience with the artists (capacity of 1200) while also offering bowling! That's right, as its name suggests, Brooklyn Bowl allows patrons to book 19 different bowling lanes during shows! I've never heard of any concert venue that let's you bowl while experiencing live music and, although you'd think that the bowling may disrupt the concert with loud noises, it rarely did (and the rare times it did, the artists just made a joke about it). Brooklyn Bowl has both a lower level and upper level to watch the show at. I stood towards the back of the lower level and still had a perfect view. A bar is located adjacent to the floor. The staff is friendly and courteous. There are a few restrooms available and I've never had to wait. Parking, however, is a little tricky. I simply booked out lots close by, which ended up being the most convenient for me so that I could avoid having to come early to find street parking. Of note, I did not order any food, so this review does not encompass the dining experience. Overall, two nights I'll never forget! Excited to come back!

I paid extra money to get seating because l'm a disabled veteran with a bad back and my friend just had surgery and couldn't stand for long periods of time. I also picked the seating closest to the stage when paying for the tickets. We showed up when the concert started and our seats were taken. The guard at the seating area told us that there wasn't anything she could do. The other side of seating was completely empty and available. After informing her that we paid extra for seating and that I'm disabled and needed to sit down, they brought us one single stool put us in a roped off section at the very back of the venue. It made me feel like I I was being shunted away from the other people attending the concert because of my injuries from my time in the navy. We couldn't see the artist very well. The person doing this also made it seem like it was a massive burden to have to deal with people wanting the seats they paid for?? This was not okay and not the correct way to accommodate for ADA seating. Our seats were paid for and should have been reserved for those who paid or at least let us sit on the other side that was completely open and available. The stool was so uncomfortable wound up sitting on the ledge of a window the whole night. The venue lighting was cool and the artist was amazing, which is the only reason I'm giving two stars. I'm really not impressed with how they handled the situation and I probably won't ever recommend this venue to anyone. Very disappointing to know that if you pay extra money for seating, they'll just give your seats away or they over booked the section?

Brooklyn Bowl is both a bowling alley and a live music venue which has two levels. On entry you have to go through the theatrics of a "security" screening with a metal detector before proceeding to your event and/or bowling. During my visit the band performed on the second level which I would guess is the usual as I didn't see anywhere downstairs that could host a performance. You can bowl during performances here which, unless the band isn't that good, I don't understand the logic behind that choice. The last several times I've been in this area performances have been happening at Brooklyn Bowl and they all seemed well attended with crowds of folks streaming either in or out to this venue. This business is also located next to the First Tennessee Park baseball stadium so you can look out and get a nice view of the field from this venue as well. This area of Germantown has changed a lot over the years and it looks like it will keep developing so there are quite a number of other businesses in this area to occupy your time before and after any visit to Brooklyn Bowl. Overall this seems like cool spot to catch live music in a great area of Nashville!

This is a cool spot in Germantown. I love the concept of a bowling alley that doubles as a live music venue. We were lucky to pick up some tickets to Saint Motel a couple months in advance, as this ended up being a sold out show! We parked a little ways down the street, which was still expensive for a weeknight evening, but that's Nashville for you. The check-in/security line moved quickly, and we were inside in a matter of minutes. The venue itself is clean and vibey, not to mention a bit more elevated than some of the other divey spots you might catch a show around town. The bar is large with several options - although were surprised to learn that a draft pour of craft beer is the same price as a can of Busch Light. We didn't get a chance to check out the food this time around, although I feel like that menu is more geared toward the bowling alley/lounge side of the space. We loved the show - the sound, the lights, and the performance were awesome! Saint Motel did a nice job of using the stage and the upper level, along with engaging the audience. We also enjoyed the opener, Steinza, who's a Nashville transplant. We'll definitely return for another show at Brooklyn Bowl soon! I also look forward to checking out their regular bowling hours outside of a concert.

Brooklyn bowl is one of the best concert venues I have been to. It's intimate and creative. The sound quality is also very good from all points of the venue. They are very timely and the entry process is smooth. This occasion I was there for NashFeels so I'm not sure if the bowling price was due to that or if it's the normal price. It's nice to have a spot to go back to during the night.

Caught a concert here on 4/19/24 and it ended up being quite the spot. Food, drinks, baseball, fireworks, music and oh yeah, bowling. Decided to eat at the venue before the show and we really enjoyed the offerings. We had the Wedge, Buffalo Cauliflower, BLT with Fries and Blackened Salmon with Collards. The Salmon stole the show. Perfectly cooked and the collards were on point. Drinks were reasonable and the we discovered upstairs you can catch a Sounds game from their outside deck. They won so we got the bonus of a fireworks show that was high quality and over 10 minutes long. Then on the the show which was presented in a great concert hall setting with great acoustics and amenities. We really enjoyed our time here and hopefully will be back soon. Oh, one more thing. You can bowl here as well.

Went to Brooklyn Bowl for my first concert. Loved how intimate the atmosphere was. It was a cool set up, making it feel like there wasn't a bad place in the house to stand. The part that was coolest to me was that you could reserve bowling lanes to bowl and watch the show - how unique. While I wasn't drinking, my only complaint is the bar. There were only 2 servers, which didn't seem like enough for the downstairs crowd. It took over 20 minutes just to get a water. Overall, great experience.

At first was impressed until there was a lack of help and we were overcharged - party of 4 charged for the party of 10 next to us. Poor attitude overall and will look for alternate options moving forward. Parking alone is close to $30..00. It suddenly became our fault for being overcharged. What a joke.

I attended the Optometry Student Bowl here, and this venue is awesome! There are bowling lanes and bars on the first and second levels, and some fun decor like disco balls and down the clown cats on the walls when you first come in, giving it a very fun vibe.

Hands-down, the best music venue I have been to in Nashville. I have been to two shows here over the past two weeks - with my 13-year-old daughter - at this venue, and both nights were truly unforgettable! The venue itself is delightful - very well thought out, with VIP areas lining the balconies, and bowling lanes just off the main stage area. The view from both of these areas is fantastic, and the sound is even better. The bars, bathrooms, and even outdoor smoking area are all easily accessible - and if you need food, they have a pretty decent bar menu which has you covered. If you thought the sounds of bowling would get in the way of the music - you would be mistaken. What really sets this place apart however- is the staff... I was fortunate enough to meet both Lori and Mikey upon entry on night one - and they went above and beyond to help us have the best experience possible. Mother Mother is my daughters, absolute favorite band - and upon arrival, they helped us secure a VIP balcony spot and both checked up on us through the night to make sure we were having a great time. Being able to watch this show from that vantage point was something else, and my daughter was over the moon. Night 2 at the Brooklyn bowl, was to see MisterWives. We decided to try one of the bowling spots, and it did not disappoint. Lori made sure we were in a spot with another family, and their daughter and mine hit it off - not only did everyone get to enjoy bowling, we also had plenty of space to watch the band from that area - and great table service to boot! As a parent - I felt like this is the only way to see live music! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to give their children the live music experience, in a safe and fun space.
