Bronco's Mexican Food

If you want real Mexican food, this is the place to go. I was by the border and got hungry so I thought I'd stop by and order a carne asada burrito. It was one of the best I've ever had. This is a no-frills nothing fancy by the border Mexican restaurant, it's really good. They have a salsa bar with five different kinds of salsa. All of them are excellent. The Jamaica drink a little sweet, but that's the way they like it

I have NEVER had worse food than what I received through Uber eats. I was so shocked that a Mexican food place could mess up chilaquiles SO bad it should be a crime. Food came and the potatoes weren't cooked, Chilaquiles were so mushy and soggy and cold and the taste is AWFUL it's like baby food no seasoning no flavor. Ordered a side of sour cream and bacon the "sour cream" is literally not even white which is concerning and the "bacon" was the consistency of chips and probably microwaved. I paid $6 for a 12oz horchata that tastes rotten. When I called the little girl who barely spoke English was rude and hung up in my face. This hole in the wall is trash beyond saving and I don't even know how they have any good reviews nothing was good I don't think a prison inmate would even eat this trash. Cook has one job and sucks at it. Awful food, awful customer service, this run down restaurant wont be around long.

La cajera tiene actitud prepotente y cobra lo que se le da la gana. El desayuno de machaca con huevo tiene un costo de $7 y me lo cobró a $10, no dije nada por la prisa y el hambre que tenia, pero que poca que cambien el precio en el momento, la vez pasada me pasó igual y argumentó que era porque pasaban de las 12... esta vez fue a las 11am y pasó lo mismo, definitivamente no regreso. Un poquito más de empatía de lacajera!!

Are you looking for great food right on the border? Here it is. This small cafe has you order at the counter and take a seat. It didn't take long for our food and it was awesome. Keep in mind, this is a great lunch place, but its not bougie fancy. Your amazing food will come on a paper plate with plastic utensils. Would definitely go back next time I am in the Chula Vista area.

Ordered shrimp ceviche and mixto was given no shrimp and 4 pieces of octopus mostly imitation crab.

Service was 8/10 honestly i think girl was just super busy, But obviously we are here for the food and let me tell you I got 5 roll tacos and a large horchata for less then $13 and it was delicious. Roll tacos were crunchy, full with beef and felt like abuelita's home cook meal. And horchata was fresh, creamy & just perfect. Food 10/10

I recommend ordering #20 PECHUGA with rice, beans, guacamole and salad. Ashley was very friendly and her service was excellent!
