Stopped by Broken Yolk with a colleague for a "breakfast at lunch" day this week. This was my first visit. Service was excellent from the greeting to the table. Our food came quickly, and our server was very polite. My coworker and I both very much enjoyed our meals. A+ for Broken Yolk!

Love this place. Great friendly staff. Eggs Benedict on point. Fresh mimosas and clean and bright. I've eaten here multiple times and it's always YUMMY

Came here for breakfast Saturday around 10am. They didn't have a wait, we had a party of 5. I had heard a lot about this place and was really excited to try it. The mimosa was really good. I tried the pick two on the Benedict's. I wish I would have gotten the classic but it was fun to try new ones. The food was not very warm unfortunately but I'll definitely be back to try some other menu options. The service was good and the food did come fast. Clean restaurant and they also have a patio.

I recently tried out this breakfast spot, and while the service was incredibly friendly and welcoming, the food didn't quite live up to expectations. Sadly, the quality and taste were off, and we couldn't even finish our meals or take them to go. We actually found a hair! But the server took it off of our bill. It's a real bummer because they have some great deals, and I was hoping for a standout breakfast experience. Here's hoping they can improve the food quality to match their stellar service!

The service was a bit slow the day I came in. I brought my brother and sister in law who were visiting. They both enjoyed their food. I got the avocado toast which was slightly disappointing. The eggs on it were cold. My sis in laws drink (gin fizz I believe) was too sweet and she had to order something else. Otherwise the server was very nice and friendly. Tons of menu options, so I'll likely just try something else the next time I come back

My family and I decided to give this place a try since we've never been. We like to try new places! We came on 4/8 at about 730am. I'd have to say this food was okay. Reminds me of a Dennys or IHOP type restaurant, but a little more "classy" and super clean! The hostess/front desk staff was very friendly. She immediately assisted us and happily sat us at our table. As for the waitress, she was okay. Didn't seem as friendly as the front desk staff, but she assisted us with our orders and got each one correct, the way we ordered it. We appreciate that! As previously stated, the food was just okay. I had the country skillet, which consisted of ham cubes, sliced potatoes, bell peppers, onions, scrambled eggs, covered in country sausage gravy. Without the country gravy, the eggs would not have had any flavor to them. The eggs were a little on the dry side and had little to no salt. Once I blended the gravy with everything, it was a little better. My husband had the French toast. He gave me a thumbs up and said it was alright. He had no complaints. One thing I give props to this place for is that it is "kid-friendly"! They have kids menus and high-chairs, which having 3 children, I can appreciate greatly. My kiddos had the pancake with eggs and fruit. My 6 year old loved all of it! She ate the whole thing! As for my 2 year old, she ate mostly everything except the eggs. She normally eats eggs, but for some reason, with these ones, she just didn't want them. I'm assuming for the same reason as I felt, too dry and bland. Overall, the experience was okay. Our total bill came out to about $55, which was kinda expected for our family. It was worth a try for the first time.

Tried out Broken Yolk for breakfast and walked away wishing I went somewhere else. We ordered the Feta Avocado Toast and Cali Breakfast Burrito. The Feta Avocado Toast left a lot to be desired, there was barely a crumble of feta and the arugula was so bitter it was almost inedible. The Cali Breakfast Burrito was bland, the ingredients felt isolated and the rice and bean pairing was cold and felt like it was heated from frozen. While the food was disappointing, the service was friendly and fast. The interior of the restaurant is big, with bar, booth, and table seating options. Plenty of parking is available nearby.

I'm a broken yolk fan & visit many of the other locations. This was my first time here at the one off Highland. The one star goes to the fact that I had several long gray strains of hair found in my food. I was so disgusted when I found them & immediately stopped eating. My 2 kids pointed it out, and I let the server know, but that's where my frustration really escalated as their response was more of a "prove it" vs taking accountability and trying to resolve. I immediately got up to talk to the manager and kudos to her as she did say this was unacceptable. My bill was comped and I decided to wait outside while my kids finished their meal but they were inspecting every bite with hesitation. The staff responded immediately. The manager was the saving grace for sure that day (the bump up in star from 1), but the entire experience left me jaded to return here.

First stop on our visit to pheonix with my wife and her friend. Restaurant itself is nice and spacious. We were seated right away. Our server was very welcoming and helpful. I got the Ranchero skillet, my wife and her friend got the Sweet Trio & the Greek Omelette respectively. I tried some of my wife's Sweet Trio, which was pretty good but the Ranchero skillet was just okay IMO. Our friend thought the Greek Omelette was good as well but nothing exceptional. Overall, I would say while the ambiance and service were both great, food was just okay.

Pleasantly Surprised We decided to check out Broken Yolk Cafe and we were pleasantly surprised. This was our first time visiting The Broken Yolk and we will definitely be back. The restraunt is clean, has a cozy home feel and the service is outstandingOn this visit we went with the American Breakfast, pancakes, Nutella crepes, French Toast with scrambled eggs/bacon. Our food came fast, was piping hot, portions were generous, and the food is delicious.I will definitely visit again. I was very happy with my dining experience.
