Brigantine - Portside Pier

What an amazing location! The views and the outdoor seating alone are enough to draw you inside. The service was fantastic. Max did a great job of taking care of us. The Happy Hour and Taco Tuesday menus gave some great small plate options. I tried the swordfish taco and the single slider. The taco was bursting with flavor and the swordfish was cooked well. The burger was juicy and seasoned nicely. The bun was fresh and soft. I would happily come back here next time.Great views, great service, great food!

3.5 actually. Oysters were good. Calamari was good but the sauces were funky. Not that they tasted bad, but they were "different" and didn't really like it with the strips. My clam chowder literally had 3 bay leaves. What??? And it didn't have that traditional chowder flavor. I wouldn't order it again. This place is very similar to the one in Del Mar. Decor and vibe. Great location on the water while you watch the boats go by.

I got Crab Fondue and baked oysters - quite delicious and filling. It's quite buttery and cheesy for me to have both in one sitting. Service was great- friendly waiter. The place is located in a very nice harbor front. Definitely great for dining in while enjoying the view.

Perfect place for a nice dinner with a view outside. We all loved our food, I split the burger and lobster tacos both good but I prefer the burger. The coconut shrimp to start was delicious. We got the mud pie for dessert and it was seriously the best !! Highly encourage you to save room for that.Our server was super sweet and attentive.

Service? 6 stars ((Max was attentive and knowledgeable ). ) Food was equally amazing and the view was outstanding! A very memorable meal.

Brigatine may be my favorite seafood restaurant... especially this location! First of all, the location is undeniably the bestttt in San Diego. It sits perfectly on San Diego Bay right next to the Star of India ship. Parking is brutal, but they do have valet & street parking. Just be patient or take a rideshare. The place is gorgeous inside and out. Love the openess and just the overall chic aesthetic. It screams "fancy" but not pretentious and without the "fancy" pricetag. Our waiter was super attentive and such a cool guy. Sorry I don't remember his name. Thanks for being patient with our party of 8. He recommend great dishes.Got to try a few of the apps and everything was really good! Can't go wrong with calamari & the crabcake was super good too. I ordered the crusted mahi-mahi with risotto and that was sooo good 5/5 for sure. I wanted more but their portion is really good- not too much not too little. Saved room for dessert which was also to die for! Tried the smores brownie with ice cream & that put me straight into a sugar coma, in a good way. Cannot recommend Brigatine enough. All the locations I've visited are consistently good. The menu is also so inclusive so it fits into everyone's diet. Come to Port Side Pier for the views! Can't wait to go back.

Came here with my Family during non-busy hours so service was fast. For my meal I got the Chicken Cordon Blue, the chicken was tender and juicy with a nice touch of Flower orchid as a decoration on the plate. I had Coconut Shrimp for my appetizer, they were crispy with dice mango garnished. The View wasbreathtaking ! Indoor and outdoor seating available , parking is street parking .

What a beautiful place! I shared a photo of where we were seated and I felt like it was the best seat in the house! There's really no bad seat in this restaurant, the whole place is well thought out. I absolutely loved being able to have good food while sitting waterfront.The food was good! The Lobster tacos were tender and well cooked, tasted fresh. Truffle fries? Yes, please. I felt there was too much oil on the green beans and carrots for my liking HOWEVER the vegetables had a nice crunch.The staff was friendly and attentive. I would love to come back!

First time at this joint, though I've been to one in Point Loma, and was severely disappointed.Happy Hour!! Good local draft beer options, though the food left a bit to be desired. Started with the calamari, which we had high hopes considering this is a seafood restaurant..seemed like the mass produced frozen/fry stuff you would get at a non seafood joint.Also selected the flatbread... decent! Covered in bbq chicken and a bready crust.Ambiance is seaside spectacular, Bar was busy and the service suffered, and prices were in line with the tourist trap...I think we have written off Brigantine , and with so many seafood options in this area it's no loss. This joint does not make the list...
