A cute dainty brunch spot that closes fairly late-- 5:30PM and is located along the street up the coastal beach! It's in a nice lively neighborhood that has groups of people walking the streets. We got to eat at the outdoor seating area and enjoyed a quick breakfast meal.My partner and I both got the sunrise sandwich (substituted croissant for some nice soft butteriness) and he added on an aćai bowl. I also got the iced caramel macchiato with oat milk and he got the hot version. It took about 5 minutes to get our food served and we got to munch the sandwich and enjoy it. The bacon was hard and crispy and definitely added a change in texture from the soft, gooey inside of cheese and egg melt. It tasted delicious I gotta say and finished everything while feeling satisfied. This was a lovely spot with sweet staff that gave great service!!

Great coffee & outstanding customer service!Greeted by a young male at the register who was very attentive and patient. The coffee here was great-vanilla latte with almond milk. I also enjoyed an almond croissant which is a new favorite! Will definitely be back!

What a charming little café! I had the iced chai latte and was given the option of vanilla or spiced. I went with the vanilla today. It was so creamy and delicious, and not too sweet. I asked for light ice and they actually did go light on the ice, and still filled the drink all the way to the top. I got a 24 oz drink to share with my husband and it cost $5.50. I consider that to be inexpensive for the area it's in. Each mini scone was just a little over $1 each, which encouraged us to get one extra. Cheers to the owner of the cafe for keeping the prices reasonable in this day and age. The maple walnut scone was sweet and crumbly (in a good way) with small bits of walnut spread throughout. There was a cute little dove that came to hang out with us and we fed it some walnuts. Even the birds here are cute. I would like to come back to try the spiced chai and some more sweets if we're ever in the area again! Their matcha looks promising too.

Brick and Bell is the best local coffee cafe! They have multiple locations in La Jolla. The workers are also amazing as well!! The coffee shops are located in old buildings in La Jolla which adds even more to the cafe. The coffee is super yummy, but my personal favorite is the Spiced Chai with oat milk. You have to try it! Also the croissants and scones here are to die for, especially the almond croissant and maple walnut scone!!! Definitely make your way down to Brick and Bell!

Omg what an unassuming little gem in La Jolla, with the best vanilla chai latte I've ever had! The shop is very tiny and cute, super cottagecore, and felt like a homey little shack by the beach. Certainly a more intimate vibe for a quiet morning or to talk to a friend. The girls working when I came in were super kind and made me feel welcome. There are naturally lots of tourists in the area, so if you're visiting our beautiful city I'd definitely recommend this cafe for a small group :) It was pretty empty when I came in, but several tourist groups walking by were eyeing my drink and ended up getting something for themselves. Maybe it caught their eye because I was clearly enjoying it so much -- all compliments to the baristas! So get the vanilla chai!

We LOVE Brick & Bell! We frequently get our morning coffee here when we're in La Jolla- it's our go-to! Delicious lattes, great milk options and flavors! I haven't had any issues ordering their drinks GF, and there are a couple GF options on the menu! Conveniently labeled on their menu! My favorite drink order is a large hot latte with oatmilk and pumpkin spice.Everyone is very friendly and they have plenty of outdoor seating out front and some on the back patio as well.
