Bowls N Brews

I'm shocked that so many people have had such a bad experience here! I love coming here. I appreciate his organic ingredients and prefer his bowls because the acai base and peanut butter have no sugar added. This is why his prices are higher, you get what you pay for. My kids always love the bee pollen and unsweetened coconut flakes. Competitors such as Lean Bean have great bowls as well, but there's extra sugar in them that I prefer not to serve to my kids if I can help it. He's always been attentive whether I order through the app or walk up and order. Convenience is nice but he is always polite and communicates well. Just wanted to show my support, and urge new prospects to have an open mind. I don't know him personally, I just live in Santee and understand that business gets hectic for him. I like this spot

Visiting my parents from the Bay Area and needed a cold brew. Walked up to the window and the guy rudely says I need to wait bc he's busy so I say "not a problem" bc I've worked and managed coffee shops (& other high volume stores) and then proceeded to scold me for standing at the window bc he has pick up orders. Protip! Not everyone is a regular and knows the process. You did not have to be rude about it. The worst customer service I have had in a while and after reading reviews it seems like I'm not the only one. I am only giving 2 starts bc the cold brew is good so I'll give him that. I think it's about time for some self reflection and meditation dude and maybe a few hospitality courses. If you can't handle the high volume without giving decent customer service, you may be in the wrong business my friend.

I can just say that I wish his attitude was as good as the food. I can understand having a bad day, but scrolling through the reviews showed it is definitely not just 1 bad day.So if you could care less about his attitude, go eat there cause the food is pretty good. I, on the other hand, prefer to support small businesses that actually respect their customers.

I got the vanilla cold brew and a bowl and I can definitely say I will be coming back. This little spot on the street corner you might just miss but don't let the size surprise you. They whip up some delicious coffee and bowls. Perfect little breakfast pitstop.

My sister and I decided to meet here on our morning walks when I first moved back. We would be there as soon as they open to get a coffee. Best cold brew I've had, really ever. The guy was really nice to us. He was the only one there, so we didn't mind the wait. We understood there are online orders that came in early too. It's nice to be outside in the morning and chill outside too.

Post hike/jog craving... We ran the grassland loop in mission trails, looking for something local we found bowls n brews!! I think i found my new goto spot for that delicious cold brew... The smoothie was also delicious!! Do order ahead on their website, it is easy and relatively fast. they have a few outdoor tables. Looking forward to coming back to try other items!

I try to eat here everyday because the Açaí bowls are the best in the world! exceptional smoothies. The quality of fruit is beyond any restaurant. Best quality organic fruit!

This place is my "treat yourself" place because the avocado toast is sooo good! He somehow always gets the creamiest avocado and it's literally a big whole avocado. I enjoy the açaí bowl over Lean Bean because it's so fresh and doesn't taste like frozen juice. I believe other places I've tried like lean bean just don't have the same quality. The coffee is also super good and really strong! The owner has always been nice to me and have never had any issues customer service wise like others stated in their reviews.I'll

If I could give this place zero stars I would. By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Customers after us left as well due to his poor customer service. He then gave us our order by slamming it on the counter and proceeded to sarcastically say "thanks for the tip". To make our experience worse the drinks were not good and he did not put honey on our acai bowl as requested. Definitely will never be coming back here and if you want a start to a great day I recommend to go somewhere else.

Stepped up to the window and I got an immediate attitude.... Then I asked what something was he said just read the menu. Okay and what if I can't read the menu?!?! You lost my business because you had an attitude! How rude! I don't even know what else to say but you need to be taught something about manners. My husband says the new name of this place should be the MAD SHACK! Kaffee Meister Just go to the coffee shop across the street you will thank me later! They are friendly!
