Rating: 4.0/5.0Bowl Gogi is located right next to Bellevue Transit Center and is only open on weekdays between 10:45am and 3:30pm (very limited hours, in my opinion). After passing by this restaurant countless times, I finally had the opportunity to dine here right before the lunch rush.To be honest, I was startled by the prices; I looked up the menu online before coming here and was expecting to pay ~$14 for a Bowl Gogi (think: Korean Chipotle). With the $1 price increase on the Bowl Gogi and lunch boxes, I decided to get the Spicy Pork Lunch Box instead. After all, it comes with more - beef gyoza, egg roll, broccoli, macaroni salad, omelette, and kimchi. The price became more palatable when I saw the generous size of the lunch box. Because the rice (I opted for half white rice and half brown rice) came in a separate container, the largest compartment was full of meat; I was extremely pleased when I had a containerful of meat leftover to take home. Now on to the taste. The spicy pork was delicious but not spicy, and the beef gyoza and egg roll were well fried. The broccoli was a bit raw for my taste (I like my vegetables cooked unless I am eating a salad), and the macaroni salad and omelette were as expected. The kimchi, however, was confusing. The portion was tiny, and it was overly sweet - is this normal for ripened kimchi? I am not Korean - whereas I prefer something sharper to cut through the meatiness of the spicy pork.Overall, Bowl Gogi is a good lunch option despite the higher prices (yes, I know Downtown Bellevue is expensive) if you can get two meals out of one order here. A solid 4.0/5.0!

I have very limited experience of Korean places. However this place really stood out to me. Service was fast. I tried 3 side Salmon and it was delicious. For folks who are interested in some hot sauce, definitely try "make me cry" sauce. It is hot and tangy and I really enjoyed it.

Haha, love the pun name Bowl Gogi! This is pretty much the Korean Chipotle where you pick your base and go down the assembly line with your choice of protein, toppings, and sauces. You can also add an egg at no extra cost. They many meat options and even tofu for vegetarians! This is more of a lunch time thing since they close kind of early and is only open Monday to Friday, it's located next to the transit center which is convenient for people passing by and working around here. If you drive like me, you can park at the city center garage, I believe it's $6 for an hour of parking, this restaurant is located right outside the entrance of one of the doors once you get upstairs from the garage. It's under $20 for a bowl, portion is pretty big so I say this should last for 2 meals. Restaurant is really clean, I love this concept. Tell me about your experience if you've been here or is going to after reading this review:)

Nice place to grab lunch on a work day. There's some indoor seating available and the staff are quite nice. The service is pretty quick too. Beef Lunch Box: Wasn't sure what to get so I opted for the Beef Lunch Box. It came in a box with a variety of sides + an extra smaller box for the base (rice, salad, etc). There was definitely an ample amount of beef. The sides tasted nice as well. I'll definitely have to come back and try some other menu options as well.

Fast service & delicious food! I got the chicken bowl with spicy bibimbap, pickled onions, edamame, cabbage, seaweed, green onion, & bean sprouts. The spicy bibimbap sauce is moderate spice (for those of you looking for a scale, I'm not great with spice). You go through the line in order of base, sides, protein, sauce & add ons and you can mix and match anything you want, catering to everyone's tastes. They have an ample selection of choices for each step and the bowl itself is relatively healthy. I like that you can choose to have 3 sides and more protein or 6 sides and half protein. The restaurant itself is cute with indoor and outdoor seating.

This place is difficult to stop by if you don't work in the Bellevue area. They only open during lunch time Monday through Friday. My husband was on vacation so I asked him to stop by hahahaha. Parking is not great as it aim for people taking the bus at the transit center. We ended up getting the tofu bowl (half the protein + 6 sides). For around $15, it was a good portion. The tofu was cooked differently from other places, it was crispy on the outside but sooo fluffy on the inside and the crispy was different too. I really enjoyed it. The sides was definitely fresh and of high quality. For the sides, we got the crab salad, seaweed salad, broccoli, corn, kimchi, and edamame. We also added an egg for an extra $1.5. overall, if I work in the area I would definitely come here more often. The food is good and good price and great portion, but otherwise, it could be a hassle to come.

Got a bulgogi bowl here since it was near work and it was really good. It's a bit pricey, but the portions here are no joke. I was really full and I'm a big man. I'd come back again if I'm in the area

**vegetarian review**I really like the concept - make your own bibimbap essentially. You get to pick between base of white rice, brown rice and greens. And add protein and sauces. It's very vegetarian friendly - the tofu is so so good and many other toppings to pick from. This is of my favourite lunch spots in Bellevue. The only complaint is that it's slightly more expensive than what I'd expect vegetarian bibimbap to be but it's fresh so...

I've passed this place so many times on weekends when it's closed and finally got to try it during the week! The prices look expensive, but I was surprised by the quantity of food I was given! I ordered a plate cuz I wanted to try a lot of stuff without having to make decisions, but the person in front of me ordered a beef bowl and it seemed chipotle style and the bowl was huge(!) and the amount of meat was quite a bit as well. I really like the flavors of all the items, and I especially liked their kimchi and next time I want Korean food during lunch on a weekday I'll be back!(It's taken three? meals to eat my spicy pork which is very delightful for $19)

Picked up lunch from this place on a weekday. Service was quick. I got the spicy pork lunch box and it was pretty good. I liked how there was a lot of variety in the dishes inside. The volume of food was pretty good too. I think my favorite was the pork since it was well seasoned and tender. I didn't like the kimchi too much but I think they tend to be hit or miss with me since I like to have more pickled kimchi rather than just spicy kimchi. Didn't like the egg too much but I tend not to like egg items so I won't hold it against them. The dumpling and the egg roll didn't stand out but were a good addition to the rest of the food.
