I should've left this review a long time ago - I've been coming here since I moved to SD two years ago. I'm very indecisive so when I saw their "classic poke bowl" that had all my favorite fish + toppings, I ordered it and have probably been 20+ times since. The owner is the nicest person ever - always greets you and is so friendly! This is my go to food spot in PB don't miss out if you love poke like I do :)

Flavors were great. Dude behind the counter was so so dry. Like had a few questions, wouldn't answer or only in monosyllabic responses. Also, asked for extra cucumbers and felt like I was annoying him. Literally gave me an extra 3 slices. Turn in some music. And make the dude sit at the front during working hours. Feels so weird in there.

So you can see what I ordered.... Not at all what I got. I spent $32 dollars and I got the wrong order called 8 times and they won't answer the phone. It's a Tuesday night, you ain't busy. Uber says for some reason I can't get a refund even though I included pics. This place is junk. I only had rice, spicy mayo, 1 scoop of spicy mayo and 3 half pieces of cucumber. The bowl had zero avocado and I paid extra for it which is ridiculous in itself. It was full with a bunch of white onions and a bunch of fried onions and ginger. None of which I like. I got the ramen and was a big fan. Even though I ordered mild it still had a nice little kick to it.Also I was served by the owner, who was super kind and patient.

I tried them twice. First time the rice was so hot that my salmon was baked.Second time I found a big black hair in it. There is no 3rd time ofc.For some unbelievable reason my husband still wants to eat there so I went to PokeChop to get my bowl and my husband ordered a Bowl Eater. We are informed that we could not eat there because I was eating PokeChop (there is no label, so pretty much sure whoever saw us eating didn't know what I was eating and would think the restaurant had customers, it was pretty dead). I think they lost the opportunity to ask why I rather to go to PokeChop than eating their food. Anyway, don't worry about me we will be at PokeChop.

Bowl has decent enough flavors but this place skimps on meat worse than chipotle down the street. The portions of meat are so small it's insulting. Even if you get a double portion of beef... there's virtually no meat whatsoever. Miso soup is rlly rlly bad.

Upon arrival we were not greeted as the person working had headphones in. He failed to mention that most of the days ingredients were out. The serving sizes were small. Do not recommend especially if towards the end of the day.

Not really worth the price. The portions are relatively small. I got the korean ramen and Bibimbap (Vegan). The ramen has kind of an instant ramen taste to it and the bibimbap tastes like fried rice from Trader Joe's but with added sauces (which are not that bad though). Overall not worth it, there are far better places in the area in my opinion.
