WOW ! Where should I start ? My husband planned a birthday dinner party at bourbon steak and saying that they did not disappoint, would be an understatement. I got the painkiller as a cocktail to start and it was easily one of the best cocktail I ever had. We both got the wagu surf and turf and the truffle Mac & cheese ... and still dreaming about it. For dessert we had the crème brûlée boat and as a native Frenchie I would 100 % approve !!! And I can't write a review about this place without mentioning our amazing waiter Nick. Good waiters are a dime-a-dozen but and excellent waiter who's friendly helpful and accommodating is one of a kind. Thank you Nick for making my birthday experience special !

This is a stunning restaurant inside the JW Marriott Nashville. They have a great bar space with panoramic views of the city, although it was quite humid inside the bar area so I wouldn't recommend eating there in a hot day. Highly recommend reservations as they don't hold a large amount of tables for walk-ins. The complimentary appetizer is a trio of duck fat French fries with different sauces. They were amazing! We ordered filet mignon, truffle mac and cheese and tuna tartare. I would order both the filet mignon and truffle Mac again, the steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The tuna tartare was alright, but I may be spoiled because I've had much better in California and Hawaii. This one just had too many ingredient mixed in. I would also hold on dessert. They give each guest a packet of caramel popcorn to take home which was so so good! It is on the pricier side but for a treat, this steakhouse is wonderful!

Best dinner EVER!!! I didn't think anything would top some of my previous experiences at other steakhouses and restaurants but I was wrong. First, the views are just impeccable. While we waited for our table we had a drink at the bar, situated 34 floors above Nashville. After enjoying our drinks and watching the Nashville skyline, we were brought to our table with similar stunning views. A perfect view to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Awaiting on the table was a card signed by the staff. Such a nice touch! We had a perfect table, tucked away in a corner with some stunning views of the Nashville skyline/sunset.Onto the food. The starter fries they bring in place of bread. Can you say the BEST fries I've ever had?? A masterpiece in itself! The dips pair perfectly with each fry type!We started out with the wagyu hot stone which was delightful! It was a unique experience and was nice to each enjoy the appetizer cooked to our liking. For entrees, we had the NY Strip and Filet. Both perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. We also had the sauce trio but really the steak didn't even need it. We did enjoy all the sauces though. We thoroughly enjoyed our sides as well (Potato Puree and Pork Belly Fried Rice). The potato was phenomenal and the fried rice was delicious and something unique for a steak house. We finished with some Creme Brulee and the Smoked Smores. They also brought us out an anniversary dessert. I can't even explain how awesome the Smores was. The marshmallow ice cream was the best ice cream I ever had. It literally tasted like smoked marshmallows.

From the moment we walked in, everything was perfect. The food, the service, the ambiance. Impeccable without being stuffy. Everything was perfectly cooked, and absolutely gorgeous. And the views....spectacular. If you really want a WOW experience, this is the place to go. I can't wait to go back.

We've been to Bourbon Steak multiple times and the food is definitely unmatched. There are certain things we look forward to when we go. The creamed spinach is something I could easily eat everyday! It's full of flavor, with pancetta pieces mixed in. The beef tartare is also fantastic. However, they stopped mixing it in front of you, and we could absolutely tell the difference. We were almost positive it was pre-mixed and added to the plate whenever ordered. Regardless, it's still one of our favorite things to eat. The truffle Mac n cheese is a must if you are getting steak! Steaks are typically cooked to perfection, though we have had our less than satisfactory experiences in which the server took our plates and put them in a microwave because they were cold (that's another story). Overall it's a great place to eat delicious food and see the view of Nashville from up top. It can be quite loud at times, which can make conversation a little more difficult, but still a nice ambiance.

I stopped by in the bar once during a conference, and also hosted a ~20 person private dining experience (almost $10k! wine/etc. is expensive...) for work here during the same conference. Service and food were amazing, as was the location.Bar options were solid -- they have an interesting cocktail menu where you can choose traditional or rebellious versions of each drink. Seafood was also great, as was the steak and side dishes; pretty much what you'd expect from a high-end steakhouse generally, and as far as I can tell this is the best in Nashville (although I'd probably give a slight edge to the best steakhouses I've been to in New York and Tokyo).Very thankful they let us keep the room an extra 30-45 minutes (we had 5pm-730pm, someone else had 730-10pm); the conference had a late-to-go-on-stage headline speaker (former President) and this threw off everyone's schedule. Also really glad I could room charge this; it made requalifying as Marriott Ambassador for the year even easier, and I earned a bunch of points.

Ended up getting to switch my reservation from 9:15pm to a 7pm which ended up working out perfect. Food was great- fries (instead of complementary bread) was 10/10- I loved the different sauces. Steaks were perfectly cooked. Truffle Mac was good fresh, the baked potato was enormous but basic and you can put the toppings on yourself. Our waitress was amazing and very knowledgeable of the menuExpensive but to be expected. The women's bathroom had an awesome view. End of the meal you get a take home bag of their chocolate caramel popcorn

All star service as always from a Michael Mina restaurant. Came in on a Sunday night trying to grab dinner and drinks before heading out for the night. It was a bit hard to find a spot at the bar but eventually we snagged a seat on the outdoor bar which is situated on the 34th floor and overlooking downtown Nashville. Spectacular skyline views! Meredith, our wonderful bartender made our night and I loved her honest opinion on food/drinks. For starters they give a trio of duck fat fries with three dipping sauces in lieu of bread. We also got the Ahi tartar which I probably wouldn't order again- needed more sauce and flavor. For main we got the brussel sprouts and delmonico (split in two) medium rare. It was good, not great and too fat/ chewy for my liking. Great experience still, would order differently on a future visit but at least worth grabbing a drink at the bar!

Wait staff is okay.. but the food is where it is at folks, after taking in the views from the bar.. we played sort of musical chairs. My wife and I requested a table with a view a couple of week prior to arrival. We were stuffed in a corner with the sun blaring in our eyes. I went to the manager and asked for a seat more accommodating, and was asked to wait approximately 10-15 minutes, which was fine.. because let's face it what other option did we have. Sadly the tone of the restaurant for me was now set off pace. Thankfully our food helped with the total experience. The Lobster pot pie is a MUST. And the ribeye was wonderful. If you are debating on sides please try the crab Mac!!!
