Bottega Italiana

A gelato shop that you have to try when you visit downtown Seattle.I recommend the pear and grapefruit flavors. I usually mix them together. Very refreshing and Perfect for this heat!

Bottega Italiana is a small gelato shop near Pike Place Market. I ordered the Tamarind flavor in a kids size (1 scoop) and it was more than enough me. Unfortunately, they do not let you try the flavors before you order so you just have to hope you picked one worth eating a scoop or two of. I originally was going to order a scoop of Grapefruit but am very happy with the Tamarind recommendation!

Gelato was amazing! Got panna cotta and hazelnut. Service was quick, efficient, kind and quite positive. The vibe was chill, easy going, welcoming and comfortable. Highly recommend when your craving some gelato (:

Cute little gelato shop near pike place. They stack the gelato and it's well worth a try! Super yummy and decadent. The coffee gelato tasted so rich and the Nutella flavor had chocolate shavings in it which melted with the gelato in my mouth. I got a small and do you see the size? I loved it!

They are doing samples again after COVID, so I'm glad for that since the glass said otherwise. Staff gave me a very solid amount for the size small with 2 flavors. Chocolate - SOLID flavor, not like your typical chocolate. Actually tastes like a chocolate bar with a tiny bit of bitterness. Can be combined with the sorbets for a good chocolate covered fruit combinationPanna cotta- this one tasted like a candle to me (fragrant), but my friend liked it. To each their ownGrapefruit - like chocolate, has a bit bitter taste characteristic of the rind. Tastes almost exactly like grapefruit, but a bit creamier since it's gelatoTangerine - sweeter than I expected but not bad. Grapefruit set my expectations high, so this flavor was an afterthought for me. It seemed popular however as it was almost scooped outMixed berry - contains some berry seeds. Great in combination with chocolate!!

Located near Pike Place Market, we stopped by for some gelato. Seeing that they make the gelato there, we had to give it a try. Not only does this place sell gelato, but they also serve hot and cold coffee. It was quite small as many of us squeezed in there to stand in line. Besides that, they had many flavors from your standard chocolate, strawberry, to unique flavors such as Mixed Berry, Lemon, and Pear. There was a sign stating that they didn't offer any samples, so I never bothered to ask. Maybe I should have because I heard after the fact that they do now. I really wanted to try some of the other flavors I was on the fence about. Oh well! Both my daughter and I ending up getting the kids size Coffee gelato. It was a decent size amount and the price was okay ($4 each). Taste wise it was so-so. I don't know if it would be worth coming back for.

This place is really close to Pike Market and is a great spot to hit up once you're done with browsing and shopping. Shop is small and cozy. Features a variety of seasonal flavors. I tried the fresh cream, and it was delicious!! Very smooth with a hint of sweetness. Many of the folks behind me in line were returning customers and they all told me that this was the best flavor. The owner was very nice and friendly as well. Limited seating, but location is in the heart of Seattle so great treat to enjoy while walking around.

Great gelato here. And wonderful fresh waffle cones. The medium - 2 scoops of 2 flavors was bigger than expected. The salted caramel was really good The Nutella was excellent

This place is delicious and very flavorful!! The owner is very sweet as well and made the shop very welcoming. I got the double scoop of raspberry and pannacotta which mixed very well together. The pannacotta is a must try! Also our scoops were HUGE so it was an amazing deal for its price! 10/10 recommend!

Great spot for ice cream. Creamy and fresh. It was a perfect dessert after dinner. I ordered the sea salt scoop, and the choc scoop. Perfect combo. I'll definitely be back. Service was perfect too. She was nice, and informative.Ambiance was cute. A few tables to sit which was great.
