"Came here for dinner on a Monday night to find them about half way full. We got seated right away in this quaint and simple establishment. Parking wasn't too bad since there is lots of street parking available. We shared their shrimp paste in tofu skin which was crispy on the outside. Their fish sauce was decent especially with their S9 Bnh Hi Cho Tm Tht Nng. I found that it was a good portion and quality but could have used more lettuce and pickled vegetables on the side for wrapping. My brother enjoyed his P2 Ph c Bit finding the broth aromatic with lots of toppings.Overall, I had a pleasant experience and found the food to be reasonably priced. Our waiter was kind and efficient so I wouldn't mind coming to try other items from their menu."
"Don't let their random/wide-ranging menu deter you! I really do like Le's but you just have to know what to order. Their sushi isn't anything crazy but my go-to is their bun cha (vermicelli bowls), a generous portioned mix of noodles, pork, veggies, and a spring roll all to be tossed with fish sauce and crushed peanuts. The seating is primarily large tables (half of them are booths) and I've never had to wait (which could be a plus or minus depending on your perspective). Lastly, I do appreciate their fast and friendly service!"

"I stopped by Soup Shack Porter for a late lunch/early dinner after finishing my errands nearby. I picked this place because I was looking for nearby place that offerred Asian food (since my current city doesn't really offer many good options).Overall, I was satisfied with the food they offerred. Frankly, I was really surprised that the place was run by a Thai person...and had, therefore, changed what I wanted to order to a Thai dish...just because..I felt that...a Thai dish just gotta be more authentic than any other dish...and I wasn't disappointed at all! I ended up ordering dried BBQ and wonton noodles..and was very satisfied with its taste! It was something I definitely missed and it was on point! I also ordered Takoyaki..which was good..but maybe I wasn't as impressed of it as the wonderful dry noodles dish that I had! While they have lots of options for you to choose, being that the place is run by Thai people, my recommendation is to go for a Thai dish! I did with my noodles dish and was rewarded with a taste I had been missing out for so long living in my current city.Note: the dish is actually quite generous..because I ordered a side dish (takoyaki) and dried noodles (ba-mee-hang), I couldn't finish the whole noodles dish....although I loved it quite a bit, too! So..pace yourself!"
"Vietnamese food? Raw Bar? On the beach? With a respectable pun in the name? I think I had a dream like this once. Who knew that Revere would be the place that dreams come true?I'll be honest, this is neither the best raw bar or Vietnamese food I've ever had, but it's definitely one of the most unique menus I've ever come across just, like, in general. And the food is good, the service is nice and the place is impeccably clean.Seafood boils, oysters and pho? Outdoor seating with a view of the ocean? Like, do you really need a review here?"
"Banh Mi Boba & Me is a small shop serving up a variety of bubble tea milk drinks, fruit teas, smoothies, slushes, lattes. Vietnamese coffee, banh mi sandwiches, spring rolls. and pho soups at fair prices. The place is geared towards takeout which is order at the counter and there are no tables here other than a standing table by the front window. I stopped by here while I was in Stoughton. I ordered a Banh Me BBQ Chicken ($8.99 plus tax) which was made to order in the back kitchen and ready within 5 minutes. Served on a crusty firm sub roll, the banh me had tender pieces of sweet BBQ chicken, cilantro, cucumber slices, shredded pickled carrots, daikon, and red chiles. I really enjoyed this sandwich which had sweet, savory, and very spicy flavors. I will probably get a Banh Mi Classic Cold Cuts and a Taro Bubble Tea on the next stop in here."
"I wanted something quick to eat and this place was it! There is no indoor seating and is just a to-go place. I love bahn mi and I ended up getting #3, fancy pork (idk what that means) & pork belly. The sandwich itself was really good and the meats were perfect. I came in the evening and I like that the bread was still fresh and not stale."
"I'm not going to lie... I am mad at myself! Do you know that amazing-looking duck dish which graces the business front page? Yeah... that one is no more. I was told their menu changes monthly, and once something is discontinued, it is gone forever. Welp, there goes the duck! Another word of advice: do not come here alone. Based on what I tried, it seems the idea is to share... bring AT LEAST one other person if you can. I'm not necessarily discouraging dining alone, though. I had the opportunity to try the Bone Marrow, Cajun Crawfish Noodles, and the Creme Brulee. The Bonfire was the drink of the evening. Bone Marrow (Bánh Mì Tủy Xương) - Why is it that everything bad for you tastes so dang good? The marrow itself was excellent! It was roasted to perfection, was exceptionally savory and fatty, and was not over-seasoned in the slightest. Accompaniments were well done, with different kinds of veggies, herbs, a chicken liver pâté, and some hot peppers for those who (like myself) like heat. My only critique here is that two thin crostinis are not enough. Perhaps this is because I tried to make a sandwich. Reasonable, I think given *how* savory the marrow was. Plus, with a name that translates to "Bone Marrow Bread," the bread is important. Việt Cajun Crawfish Noodles - These were slightly less spectacular than I would have hoped. Don't get me wrong, it was an extremely solid and tasty noodle dish, but that's what it was, a 'noodle dish'. In my opinion, the crawfish got overpowered and wasn't allowed to shine on its own. To the dish's credit, I did greatly enjoy the noodles and found them flavorful, and gently sweet. I also really liked the idea of adding a little salmon roe for flavor and salt (and more would have been nice!) Meanwhile, the option of adding an egg seemed like a good idea at the time but ended up being unnecessary, though this is a matter of preference. Crème Brûlée - this was like a regular C.B., only made with Vietnamese coffee. A solid dessert, and while I enjoyed the addition of coffee, it didn't beat out the traditional vanilla CB. Bonfire - An A-OK cocktail, with good smoky notes from the Mezcal, and a balance of sweetness, acidity, and bitterness. Nothing to write home about, but a solid go-to, like an Old Fashioned, say. What makes this one unique is the Szechuan Buzz Button, which apparently has a numbing effect when eaten. Some people may enjoy this, but I found the numbing effect minimal, a little strange (being outside a dentist's office), and not impacting the experience, other than making the textures of the solid food a little harder to pick up on. The service here is great. It is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The speed was fine considering how fresh everything came out. The vibe is pleasant, with tastefully thought-out color and decor. Finally, considering the quality, I felt the prices were reasonable, especially with everything getting more expensive. It's a shame that I am leaving the state at the end of this month. However, the good thing is that I look forward to bringing friends here when I return to MA to visit. The more the merrier, especially because that means we'll be able to try more stuff!"
"My friends and I stopped in at Pho Pasteur late on a Friday night. We actually stayed until closing. The staff was very kind about informing us that it was almost time to close. It's a pretty casual spot, so don't expect fine dining! You know it's a good sign when it's always busy.Sadly I lost the pictures of the actual food... but thankfully I still had the reciept, so I know exactly what we ordered! We started out with the Spring Rolls, which were absolutely fresh and delicious. Nothing beats the sauce on the side. Two of us got the Beef Noodle Soup and one got the Vegetable and Tofu Noodle Soup. Both soups were excellent and the potions were huge!"
"Great Vietnamese option in Malden, better than most of the other options in town. I ordered the goi cuon nem nuong and a small pho tai, bo vien. The goi cuon nem nuong was good, however they gave a large unnecessary amount of sauce. I've never seen that much given for one order with two rolls. The pho itself was good. Good amount of meat given.Service could be a lot better. The table of 4 all ordered pho but we were never given our garnish dish (bean sprouts, lime, basil, etc). It's usually given before or when the pho comes out. We had to ask our waiter for it and it came 10 minutes after the pho dishes came. The restaurant is in a plaza, so there is a parking lot."
"Cambridge doesn't deserve Vinh Le. We're here giving five stars to Waypoint and Alden and Harlow, we need to get our culinary issues sorted before we get gifted quality like Cicada and Saigon Babylon.Holy moly is this place good. I'm not talking "date night good" or "rooftop bar good". I'm talking some of the best food I've eaten in this city good. And it's good for a date. And it's a rooftop come on people how are you not already eating here?!Atmosphere is cute, a bit busy and crowded on the inside, but step outside and it's a totally different scene. Chill little tables and an unobstructed view so nice it'll make you a NIMBY. Cambridge is totally unaffordable and STILL we get awesome restaurants like this one.The dishes are what you might expect if you've been to Cicada, carefully crafted modern takes on Vietnamese dishes. If you come here and don't get the Bac Ninh you have wasted your trip. This dish is probably one of the best things I've had in Boston generally. The duck is perfectly salty and greasy, the noodles are fresh and whatever magic they do with the sauce should be outlawed. Or given a medal. Something should happen to it.The Nom Chay (I think) was really interesting - it had a metric ton of mint on there but somehow that worked with the other ingredients, making this mix of texture and flavor that didn't have the wow of the Bac Ninh but was new and different. The way the dishes are presented is also just gorgeous, each part of it is layered for a complete bite. It's like Le knows we Cambridge people are too stupid to figure it out ourselves. (we are)"
"I love the other Shojo location so definitely had to try this one when I heard it was opening. I visited here with a few friends. Would definitely get a reservation - the place was poppin when we went on a Saturday evening. Large space inside with fun funky decor. Dark lighting for some ~ vibes ~. The wait staff were all so friendly. Food and drinks were just as great as their other location. Pork bao buns - so yum! The fried rice is always a great go-to as well. I felt like there were a few cocktails that were not there at the menu on the other restaurant. I have 2 vegan friends and they love eating at the Shojo locations because there are lots of vegan friendly items and are well labeled. DEFINITELY will go again!"

The BEST pho restaurant in the area! A small local restaurant that serves comforting Vietnamese food! They keep getting better each time I visit! Bún bò Huế is a must try for anyone wanting to elevate their pho pallet! It is so much better than the regular Phở Tái and I love it because the broth is a little more flavorful and a little bit spicy! The red broth is the Bún bò Huế and the clear brown broth is the Phở Tái. I like that this place lets you choose a size from small, medium to large. We both got the small size and it was so filling for us! Lots of meat and lots of noodles comes with the soup. The grilled pork spring roll is incredibly flavorful and I love the peanut pieces in the sauce. Service was a little slow they were very busy but they didn't have a lot of servers. But overall our food arrived promptly and we were very satisfied with our experience!

I hadn't been here in a few months and was pleasantly surprised at the updates they had made to the dining space when we came here for dinner on Valentine's Day. New seats, dark-stained wood tables, and table decor. The sushi prep area moved to the ordering station / kitchen entrance to create space for a nicer bar area. Food options are still the same, although actual menus are nicer now (printed on card stock vs the old plastic sheathed menus). I got my usual grilled shrimp on vermicelli, and we also ordered sushi and the rare beef pho- all very good. Restaurant was filled with diners that night and lots of takeout orders, nice to see.

Really good pho! It was on the expensive side though, and the portion sizes are not as big as other places (like Pho Pasteur in Chinatown, my personal favorite). But the broth was flavorful and they gave a lot of meat. Would def come back, the restaurant was nice and clean.

Delicious Soups! I went here a lot during college. What else would you want after a long day of classes? I've tried almost everything on the menu and they're all delicious! My recommendations:-Duck noodle soup: roasted duck with ramen noodles and bok choy. The broth is sooo good and they're very generous with their duck portion. -Pho: not the same as my mom's pho but good for a restaurant! Again, they're very generous with their meat. Try the Pho Sate if you like a kick!-Mi Wonton: pork and shrimp dumplings with ramen noodles, bok choy and roasted pork. I love any kind of dumpling so this always hit the spot for me. Drinks: -coconut juice: can't go wrong with coconut juice with the coconut pieces! -Thai tea: always hit the spot, brewed very well!

I cannot say enough good things about Stoughton's newest restaurant, and a welcomed one. We don't have too many Vietnamese options around these parts, and I've found myself often to venture out to Quincy or Randolph when jonesing for some pho so I'm very excited to welcome this shop. It's clean, it's bright, and a breath of fresh air. They did a killer job with the layout and there's a decent amount of seating at the counter and tables. Their menu has all kinds of awesome appetizers, some pho options, and plenty of drinks, both smoothies and teas.I proceed to order some fresh beef spring rolls which were awesome and came with a delicious dipping sauce. Two rolls in the order. It's not on their menu but I'm glad they suggested it when I was talking to them about my order.I also proceeded to order their classic cold cut banh mi sandwhich ($8.99) which was very traditional. The baguette was slightly dry (which is what you want) and the pate and cold cuts were very well distributed and everything tasted fresh. The chili in there were perfect and not overwhelming. It was the best banh mi sandwich I've had in years and lightyears better than any I've had in the area by a mile.To cap my order off, I also went with a Taro and Coconut smoothie with 2 types of boba and they asked me how sweet I wanted it which was awesome because I didn't want it too sweet and it was absolute perfection. I might go back and get another tomorrow. The staff is friendly and the food excellent. Don't hesitate to come here, you won't regret it.

Small hole in the wall.Crispy and delicious fried crispy rolls.Excellent fresh banh mi.Spring rolls are fresh.Venue is insanely dirty, which makes this place the real deal. Hidden gem in Chinatown you don't want to miss. No seating so take it and go. It gets busy.

Lê Madeline in Quincy is a Vietnamese restaurant that deserves 5 stars, offering a dining experience that went above and beyond our expectations.Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed into the beautifully decorated restaurant, where every detail exuded Vietnamese charm. With its small size, reservations are encouraged, but even sitting at the bar was fun! Our bartender and server, Kimmy, was an absolute delight. Her sweet demeanor and genuine hospitality made our dining experience truly memorable. She engaged us in good conversation, sharing insights into the various dishes and history of the restaurant. Kimmy's cocktails were amazing. The Second Wind, with its Vietnamese Espresso Martini twist and hint of banana flavor, was delicious. The Spicy Margarita and The Bonfire were equally good and flavorful. We also indulged in a durian smoothie, made with REAL durian and surpassed any powdered version. For starters, the fried chicken wings were full of flavor and crispy. Our entrees, the Pho Dac Biet and Bun Bo Hue, were generously portioned and packed with meat, so good! Our experience at Lê Madeline left us thoroughly impressed. With Kimmy's exceptional service and the restaurant's delicious offerings, we can't wait to return for another unforgettable meal. Five stars without a doubt, Lê Madeline!

"This place is what you'd expect for Newbury Street... convenient and overpriced. The service was standard and the ambiance was nice, yet casual. You can also order mochi donuts in the same restaurant! If you're looking for legit Vietnamese food, go to Dorcester. That being said, the Bahn Mi was still decent and had a nice flavor to it. The Spring Rolls were underwhelming and seemed a bit skimpy, but the peanut sauce was the hero! I don't think I'd bother to come back because there are some better options for Asian in the area, like Redwhite Boneless Ramen and Beantown Pho & Grill."
"Don't expect a large menu or what we expect from typical Vietnamese restaurants Chinatown or Quincy. This place reminds me of the many sidewalk food stalls that one would find in Asia, where you share food and conversation in very simple surroundings. We ordered several things: the jackfruit salad (meh - not our favorite), grilled whole squid (prepared to order so this takes about 20 minutes), melo melo stir fry (our favorite - garlicky and delicious), beef rice (good but nothing extraordinary), and the bun bo hue (only available on weekends -- enjoyed this a lot, not as spicy or fatty as other places). Quality of food was amazing, especially the two seafood dishes. We noticed several tables order the sea snails which looked great and on our "to do" for next time. The staff was very nice but service was slow when we were there on a Sunday evening. There were two employees working the front, with some assistance from a woman who may be the manager/owner. No alcohol served and parking can be very tricky as it is street parking only. Worth a visit but make sure to leave your "Pho Pasteur" expectations behind."
"This spot has been on my list for awhile and I finally tried it on a rainy lunch day.S4. BBQ Pork Banh Mi - the baguette is so pillowy and crackly. One of the best banh mi baguettes I've had. The pork was tender and seasoned well. The pickled carrots and daikon added a nice crunch and texture. The jalapeño added much needed heat. If you pay with card, there is a service fee which I didn't realize until I looked at the receipt after I left. Bring cash!"
"Excellent family meals of hot and sour fish soup (canh chua) it's thick cut of the fish the way I like it . The caramel fish was flavorful . The frogs with lemongrass was amazing along with the egg coffee."
"Placed order via Doordash. If you have the time, it will probably be less expensive to dine-in. Surcharge placed on original order which brought our order of approximately $13 an entree to about $18 per entree. (Quite steep for Vietnamese takeout but understandable for having order picked up and delivered to us at our hotel.)Portions were very generous and food was quite warm when it got to us. (Considering it was in the mid-20s at time of pickup)We would definitely return again if in the area.Thank you for a lovely dinner!"
"Still a solid place to get pho. It's unfortunate that they continue to use plastic spoons, soup bowls, and utensils, but I get that it's a food court place. The meats are flavorful, the broth is freshly made each day, and now they also offer a combo option pairing a noodle soup with either a spring roll or a bao.Friendly service."
"Khao Soi: Delicious. Ingredients fresh and well-balanced. The chicken leg was really good with a nice, browned exterior and tender on the inside. Both the regular noodles and crispy noodles were tasty. The curry was delicious, with a bit of a kick to it.The Bangkok Ribs: nice glaze on the outside. I really like the marinade. It's so good. The ribs were really tender and fell easily off the bone. I wouldn't say prices are cheap, but they are reasonable. Portion sizes are good."
"The Vietnamese iced coffee was really good. Very strong. I would get that again. I feel like this place could make it on coffee alone. Unfortunately on the day I visited there was no lemongrass steak available. That was disappointing, but I understand. While the chicken Banh Mi sandwich was ok, it just didn't seem very flavorful or substantial for the price. I wasn't full after eating it and ended up grabbing other food at another place on the way home. It's street parking and there are two small tables to sit at outside. It's too tight inside for seating really. So you either get take out or hope the tables aren't being used. Since there are other Banh Mi shops like Ba Le or Viet Citron in Burlington, I likely won't trek to W Roxbury for one here. If I lived in town I might come here for the coffee and an occasional sandwich maybe. Giving 4 stars because the staff was nice and the ingredients were fresh. Just felt like something was missing in spice and portion size."
"This restaurant can be pretty intimidating since the menu is so extensive. There's Vietnamese food, Korean food, and tons of Thai food as well. There's also lots of seating and they don't seem to be busy often so the staff is waiting on you to order and the food comes out pretty quick. The food was pretty good. The pho is only one size compared to other places that might have an XL. The combination rice platter was pretty tasty. An overall thing I noticed was that the meats were a bit tough. The photos of the fried chicken that everyone convinced me to get it as well. It was fried perfectly so definitely crunchy but the meat wasn't really that great. It also came with a choice of side which I chose fries and that was really tasty! The pork chop on their rice combo wasn't really tender either. Their pad thai was kind of stuck together. I would definitely want to try more foods from here though. I was a bit skeptical on what would be good since there were too many items to choose from but the food was surprisingly better than I expected."
"A tiny Banh Mi shop located in Watertown. Very happy this place opened. It's convenient for when I want to grab lunch.Their Vietnamese iced coffee is STRONG. Be warned. This is how I had it in Vietnam and it was sooo good. But if you don't like strong coffee, you should opt for another drink. Personally, this is just how I like it.I tried the beef Banh Mi. It was so good. Bread is fresh and the veggies are crisp and refreshing. Had a bit of a spice to it, which was perfect. I think from the peppers on it. The staff is so friendly too. I would highly recommend popping by this gem for take out sandwiches and iced coffee. There is street parking, but main street can get hectic during rush hour. Lunch time is a breeze though."
"Good local option for some Vietnamese takeout food. I ordered the Com Ga rice plate and the food was very good. The meat was well cooked and flavorful and there was plenty of rice and a side salad as part of the meal. Good deal for a simple weekday dinner."
"This restaurant used to be located in Super 88 but I am glad they found a new location on Comm ave! The inside is fairly small but has a decent amount of seating. Not great for large groups though. I cant speak to rest of the menu but I do enjoy their pork Banh mi!Some cons to the Banh mi - it is not as flavorful as I'd like. I wish they grilled the pork and had the pickled veggies more pickled. But that is just my preference. For $7 in this location, it is well worth it. A good value lunch!"
"Came here for lunch right at opening on a Saturday morning and we were seated as soon as our entire party arrived. We had a group of 8+ people so they gave us a larger table in the back and were taken care of right away - pretty decent service! The folks working were patient as we had to wait a while for everyone to arrive and they were efficient at taking our orders. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time, albeit there was a huge difference in some people getting their orders 15+ minutes before others; overall, I would work on trying to get orders out at the same time, but we had a larger group so I understand that might be harder. The pho itself was pretty delicious - I got the classic dac biet/combination soup and was pretty satisfied. It tasted good, was a good portion, and I left full and happy. Overall, this place is a solid spot for pho and other Vietnamese dishes. Their rice plates also looked good and I wouldn't mind trying that as well as some of their drinks in the future!"
"BEST sugarcane juice in the city! All the proof you need is in my picture. Because sugarcane takes so long to ship to Boston, it generally isn't fresh and comes out more green/gray, oftentimes with a bit of sand collected at the bottom if it hasn't been thoroughly washed. But here, it is golden yellow. It's the closest you can get to what it's like in Vietnam while in Boston. Although I generally come here for their nước mía, I also love their smoothies. They also serve a variety of hot foods and bánh mì, and do a great job at catering. Support your local businesses!"
"This has to be my absolute favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the greater Boston area. They are really friendly, food is made quickly, everything is extremely delicious, and they are so good at accommodating vegetarians and vegans.Every time we try another dish, we are blown away. Thank you for such great food!"
"It's a sickness, y'all. And I don't wanna be cured. My first experience with the Bon Me truck was only a little better than lackluster, maliciously comparing an artisanal sado with a (humbly) superior street version from Mei Sum. It's a solid 'wich, yet I couldn't find myself craving it when my gullet needed a banh mi.Then I met you, noodle bowl. Soba noodles with spice rubbed boneless chicken thighs, a slew of julienned veggies and an addictive spicy peanut sauce that puts my world on edge. Toss on a handful of fresh cilantro, and charge me $6. I'LL PAY DOUBLE!Seems so simple, until I found myself hunting down the truck and finding an excuse to be nearby. You know, like all of you did with your college crush who broke your heart. Good thing the Blue Siren (as I'll refer to their apt-colored truck in the family) is parked near South Station every Tuesday. Which is when I meet my Yelpterns. Which is win I eat this box o' righteousness. Which is when I am happy. The only downside: the line BLOWS UP after 12p. Even arriving 10 minutes prior cuts your wait to a third. Know what you want and have your LevelUp at the ready. And remember, the noodle bowl is king, but that doesn't mean you should rob yourself of a thai basil lemonade to wash it down. Summasummasummatime!"
"5 stars for the most insanely amazing pho burrito you can imagine (I loved it so much I went back the next day for another!).When staying in Boston recently, I was searching on Yelp for an interesting lunch choice and came across Phin and their pho burrito. I'm a huge fan of Vietnamese cuisine and had to try it. Luckily it was a short walk from the hotel. The pho burrito comes with a side of pho broth, but the second time around I opted for no broth since I was on my way to the airport and the broth was honestly the least impressive element of this dish (which is a bummer for a soup themed burrito, but the burrito itself is absolutely worth it.)The burrito is packed with all the flavors you would expect in a bowl of pho. Every bite will leave you shocked about the new vessel for the familiar, comforting dish. Like I mentioned before, the broth wasn't my favorite part as it lacked the depth of flavor (and salt/acid) that I'd expect, but it didn't detract from the main draw of the dish. I ate the first burrito in the shop, while sipping on some good coffee. The next day I took it to-go and ate it in the park. Both times were impressive and made me wish someone was making this dish near me (in Central Florida). Oh well, guess I'll have to go back to Boston for my next fix!"
"I'm glad they opened up a closer location to me because I love Banh Mi Ba Le. It's smaller than their Dorchester location, however they still have banh mi, and a good amount of other Vietnamese food. Banh mi is $6-7 and I always get a few whenever I come. My favorite is the thịt nướng (#2). I also got xôi (Vietnamese sticky rice) which was good. The workers are fast at making the banh mi too. A great cheap meal option!Still my favorite banh mi location that I've ever had. It's located inside 99 Asian Market's food court and there's plenty of parking in the plaza."
"After getting takeout a few times from here, we finally ate in as a family. I started off a bit skeptical at first because the restaurant has Thai and Vietnamese dishes. Usually that's a red flag for not being good at either. But turns out, they nailed both. The tom yum soup is our go-to. They have two sizes. The other Thai dishes are also tasty. The pad Thai, chicken satay, and mango sticky rice are all quite good. And their soft shell crab dish is also garlicky good. On the Vietnamese side of the house, all of their pho dishes are yummy and rich. Finally, this was the first time we dined in, and the service was as good as the food. Our server offered our family a stand for the iPhone my son was watching videos on. And the service was attentive and considerate. We will be back, likely for takeout again."
"The prices are not cheap but the food is prepared very well. Of the "aesthetic" Vietnamese cafes I've tried in the Boston/Cambridge/Somerville area outside of Dorchester, this spot has my favorite banh mi!We got the beef spring rolls ($8), lemongrass chicken banh mi ($13), BBQ pork banh mi ($13), and an iced coconut matcha coffee ($8).We got to try 3 different kinds of meat and I was impressed by all of them! I've never had beef spring rolls before and I was expecting the beef to be quite plain, but it had a really nice seasoning to it and was super tender. The lemongrass chicken had a strong lemongrass flavor and was on the saucier side so the lemongrass sauce soaked into the bread. The BBQ pork had the sweetest flavor out of the different meats we tried and I loved how smoky and juicy it was!The spring rolls and banh mi were packed with fresh veggies. The pate in the banh mi was rich and tasty. The coffee was quite pricey but came in a large cup. I was able to taste the coconut and matcha flavors, which complemented the coffee well. Even though they added condensed milk the coffee wasn't overwhelmingly sweet.I would definitely come back again. The banh mi are pretty hefty on their own so a single sandwich can be a meal by itself-- the 2 of us were pretty hungry when we came here and splitting both spring rolls and banh mi left us stuffed.I noticed that there are a lot of outlets near the tables. The windows are huge which allow a lot of natural light inside."
"Yes! Yes! And yes! I finally made it to the new location! Even cleaner than it was before (and it was clean!), a slightly expanded menu, a significantly expand the dining area, and still extraordinary food! CHECK IT OUT!!!!"
"I have been meaning to try Saigon Chicken House for a hot minute now & today I was finally able to see what the hype was about!I tried one of their signature dishes, bó nè, which is beef, sunny side up egg, jalapeno, and onions on a sizzling hot plate with some pâté + BUTTER (omg!). I paired this meal with a limeade because lately I have been absolutely OBSESSED with limeade (if you like lemonade, you need to try if you haven't !)The limeade here is perfect, not too sweet & not sour. Fries and a baguette come with an order of bó nè to dip. Taste: It was SO GOOD! Very delicious comfort meal, perfect for brunch. This dish comes in small or large size, and also an XL size too I believe. The pâtè with the beef and runny egg was chef's kiss. AND with the baguette too?? YES. So glad I was finally around in the area to try Saigon Chicken House. I will definitely be back soon to get bó nè and try some of their other dishes. Highly recommend if you're in the Dorchester/Fields Corner area!!!"
