Ordered this place for takeout and I really enjoyed it! Would definitely order again. The mala pot with fish maw chicken soup base and it was amazing, super affordable and high quality. I got the beef, tripe, seaweed, cilantro, quail egg, and wood ear. The soup is super rich, so I diluted it with some hot water which was perfect. (5/5)The duck gizzards were super spicy, so beware. Duck gizzards are an acquired taste, so if you like them, I'd recommend. It's a bit harder / chewier and way spicier than what I'm used to. Huge portion (3/5).Overall really happy with the quality / price/ quality and will be ordering from here again!

So many toppings to choose from making this the perfect DIY meal. They're known for spicy soup base but the tomato soup is non-spicy. You can add all sorts of meats or veggies for a custom bowl. Or if there's no many options go with one of their set meals. The broth was flavorful and I got plenty of beef. The restaurant is a little small but it was easy to find a seatTheir ordering system is a little weird. The entire table ordered through a QR code and I thought I accidentally submitted the order I was working on. Our server explained that everyone can see the bowls that other people ordered.

FINALLY a malatang place in the area! I have been hoping and praying for a malatang spot close by and the universe answered my prayers! I got the beef/lamb combo which also comes with a drink for $16. I found that it was a good size portion. The broth was flavorful and came piping hot. I asked for it extra spicy and they definitely delivered. The combo comes with some assorted veggies and tripe as well.I would like to come back and try the create your own malatang option. They give you a menu and then each item you choose adds an additional $2-$3 depending on the item so it can get pretty pricey if you like a lot of variety. I much prefer the system of other malatang places where it's priced per pound and they have the ingredients out on display for you to make a bowl from so that way you can control how much of each item you want so that's the only thing I wish this place offered but other than that the food was great and the combo meal was a good price!

Miss malatang so looked for one and decided to come here. You order by scanning menu on the table instead of the more popular way of people gathering what they want and price by weight but it works. I just wish the menu has more pictures of each ingredient. There are also preset combos but as a malatang connoisseur I have to order myself. The soup base is decent but little spicy is more spicy than other places which is not a problem for myself but just be warned if you can't eat spicy. Service is efficient and they refill water diligently. Place is clean and good enough for a malatang place. It's below street level so look down if you are looking for the place. Overall satisfied with this place. I like the 蟹黄肠 which is imitation crab roe.

This is my first time having malatang and WOW I loved every bit of it. This dish took my favorite parts of ramen and hot pot and combined it into one. The shop itself is small, cute, and the staff is friendly. For the amount of food that you get is so worth the 15-19 dollars you pay to do a diy dish. The broth was super flavorful and the veggies were fresh. My boyfriend and I have quickly added this into one of our staple restaurants and will 100% be coming back.

I love malatang so I tried this place and it's not bad. Soup could use a deeper flavor. The amount of ingredients they give you is a LOT. If you want a regular serving, just order one noodle type. You can make your own sauce at the bar which definitely added more flavor for me. A/C is great in this heat. I would come again in the fall or winter.

I am not a fan of malatang but not really worth the price... I would prefer eating at rice noodles or ramen in Chinatown with similar price and with same amount of food.

I got the beef bone broth and it was really good! The flavors are very nice and I highly recommend getting this broth. I was very pleased with the quantity. The service was great! The staff was really nice and immediately catered to us when we entered. I have done takeouts as well since the first time I had food there and I was happy with my orders too since the quality and taste of the food remained! It's a cozy space and really clean!

The food is really good and tasty, the service is good as well! Will definitely go back to try every course ! Recommend to everyone who likes spicy soup based recipes.

So excited to have a Malatang place here in the Chinatown area! They were very accommodating when our party walked in to the nice and cozy inside. We got the meat set with lamb and the seafood set. Both were great! I like how they come with a free soda. There's also a bar with extra topping to add such as sesame paste, chili oil, scallions, etc. The portion size is large and after eating you will be satisfied and ready for a nice nap. I will be a regular customer for sure! Can't wait for the next time!
