This is a Sashimi Regular. Why is there a crab leg in there? It's supposed to be all "fresh raw fish"
This was one of their "Special Rolls" - it costs $9.75 yet it's probably size of a normal sushi roll.

So, it's Lent season. Which means I get sushi on fridays for the next few weeks and of course my husband says "is there a place we can go to that has chinese and sushi?" enter my search for both. I am writing this realizing this was ordered for Thursday, but today is friday, so as I write this I am craving sushi because yes, it's lent. (don't judge me)Sei Bar always pops up on my delivery/pick up searches and I really don't have an answer for you why I have avoided it so much, I guess I have my favorites and I leave it at that. Well that changed last night. I decided why not give it a try, order for pick up and go from there. We got two hand rolls, two maki rolls, crab rangoons and a pork fried rice. Now I'm particular about my rice (see my other reviews lol) and when my husband requested pork fried rice i immediately became sour because I haven't had a pork fried rice I absolutely loved or cared for or liked or enjoyed. I'm also VERY particular about my fried rice so I really didn't have much expectation. And thank goodness I was proven wrong by this restaurant. The sushi was good - I'd come back again for that. But I would come back sooner for that darn pork fried rice! What made it so good was the aroma, the char siu pork (sp?) was VERY flavorful and wasn't that fatty, the rice morsels were still in tact. It was just good quality fried rice and I was so happy about that! It was really good! I am excited to go back and try other menu items and maybe eat inside next time!

**DO NOT - I REPEAT - DO NOT ORDER TAKEOUT FROM THIS PLACE**Do not be fooled by the good reviews!!!My bf and I ordered takeout from this place to get home to the most disappointing meal ever. 1. They forgot our main appetizer2. The portion sizes are A JOKE. SEE PICTURES. The sushi roll sizes are 4 meager pieces PER ROLL even though their special rolls are $10+ like please go see the pictures it's borderline comical. 3. They gave me crab legs inside my assorted sashimi as if I was not going to notice. I PAID $20 FOR FRESH RAW FISH. See 2nd pic!!!!I called them back to try to get a resolution, I wanted a refund, the man on the phone became aggressive and said if I come back and return them the food they'll give me a refund. But we were already home and were not wasting anytime with this scammy place. Now we wasted MONEY ($50), time and we're still gonna have to cook dinner. DO NOT GO!

Great food, I usually order from Everett and the only thing I ABSOLUTELY think is unprofessional is that they will ask you for a tip before you have a chance to give one. One time I ordered online and didn't realize I could tip on there, well he got to my place and I didn't have any cash on me and he stood there and asked where his tip was... super rude but he clearly didn't care. He looked like he was ready to fight Here's a tip:You have long time customers that also share how great the food is with friends and family , but sei bar u must train your delivery men.DONT ASK FOR A TIP, it's not professional. Medford - location is nice and a good place to sit in and eat with a date, family or kids...Oh yea, I still order from there but I only do pick up now. As a matter of fact , I'm about to get some sushi from there today. Wakefield is okay - and portions seem smaller but food is stilllll good

Just ok. The food was good but overpriced, especially for the location. The sushi rolls were good but had extra rice and small portions of fish.

Came here 4 years ago almost every day for lunch because of the Big Rick Roll. I currently live in California and eat sushi 3-5 times a week spending $30 per roll and always trying new stuff and over all the years this place and specifically Big Rick Roll is by far the best I've ever had. I don't think these reviews about "overpriced" are accurate in anyway and if you think this is expensive come out to Cali then you'll figure out what expensive really is. Overall 5/5 place! I always stop here and get 3 big Rick Maki rolls when I'm in town! Can't believe it took me this long to write a review... love this place and highly recommend the big rick roll! Love the ambiance of this place too great vibes coming in here!

Absolutely amazing!! Perfect place to have a romantic evening with your significant other. Sushi was amazing, perfect for anyone with any experience, wether it's your first time trying sushi, or you're a sushi expert; it will leave you blown out of the water. Not just sushi either, plenty of other authentic Asian cuisine. There is something for everyone. Service is great too, they will make you feel as if you are their only customer, even on the busiest of days. 10/10 would recommend.

Wasn't horrible but wasn't great. Portions are very small and amount of actual fish given is very small. The prices were above average for the portions. Won't be returning.

Very disappointing portion sizes - the smallest I've ever seen. I even went back because I thought they forgot something but as soon as I got there he literally handed the bag back to me and assured me that two small makis are worth $20. This meal total was $50 and it didn't even feed one of us.

Best and most fresh sushi I have had in the area including a large bit of north shore boston, fresh and absolutely delicious, I'm surprised I have seen people complain about the price, good quality costs more, if you want cheap sushi go to market basket . I bought 5 delicious maki rolls for $41 with tax included before tip.. This place is not cheap but also in my opinion not expensive for how good the quality is, there's a popular place in Summerville that charges a good bit more on Maki rolls and its definitely not as fresh and delicious as the sei bar everett.

This place gets 5+++ Stars for having the Worst Value in all of North Shore. I ordered $100 worth of sushi. What I received was, by all standards, a joke. Even upon picking up the package itself, you can tell by how heavy it is how much 'content' or 'substance' you are getting. The package weighed about as much as your remote control. How do you charge what you do for a few tiny pieces of plastic-tasting Tuna tataki that is in a giant plate of salad, a salad that looks like it's worth $3, with a few leaves and 2 baby carrots thrown in for good measure? This is an Insult to your customers. My apologies for this direct review, but I don't enjoy being ripped off, and that's not something I'll ever apologize for. The sushi Maki rolls were nearly 50% smaller than most places that I normally order from (those places were unavailable to order from today unfortunately). The taste itself was OK, medium, nothing amazing. The taste of the sushi was more of what you'd expect from a Chinese Buffet that has sushi, rather than a professional Japanese sushi spot. I am sure whoever is reading this review knows what I am talking about with the taste difference between these two such places. So how do you manage to charge top-notch prices for 50% smaller potions than some of your competitors, and with sushi that's OK tasting?I could tell from the low-rated reviews that I shouldn't expect much from this place, but the usual place I order from was closed today, so I gave this one a try and hoped that I would be pleasantly surprised. The only thing that surprised me was that I ate $100 worth of sushi by myself and was still hungry. How is that even possible? That has never happened before. I would have sushi for 2 days worth if I ordered $100 worth from a higher quality restaurant which I usually order from. If you are dying for sushi and no other place is open, this place will suffice. If you want VALUE because money doesn't grow on trees, then look for other places.
