Rome Pizza & Grill

I can't comment on their pizza as I haven't tried it (yet), but I did visit for some of their other food options. I ordered my food in advance over the phone since some of the online platforms seemed to upcharge a decent amount. The person on the phone told me my food would be ready for pickup in 20 minutes, and after only 10 minutes it was done! I got a cheesteak with peppers and onions along with a side of buffalo fries (which were essentially just well-seasoned fries). I was very impressed with the sheer quantity of food that I had. This easily could've been two meals! It was also very delicious and easily one of the best cheesesteaks I've had in Boston thus far. Everything was cooked perfectly, and despite it sitting in a takeout container for a decent amount of time, it wasn't soggy at all. I really enjoyed the fries from here too. I'm excited to try more things from here in the future!

A family owned spot that's been around for many years! These are my favorites: French fries, wing dings and chicken Alfredo pizza! They also help out nearby community based organizations by discounting the cost or give an additional perk.

Rome Pizza is great for some quick, cheap pizza. It's not spectacular, but it didn't disappoint. This is the kind of pizza that I'd get if I was in the neighborhood and I wanted to something quick and affordable. I would not go out of my way to come to South End just for this pizza.Why it's only 4 stars? It's not super stellar-quality pizza - each slice is only a buck or two after all. I'm not coming to Rome Pizza for the ambiance, the top-notch food, or the experience. I'm coming here for some good, every-day pizza.

Came here for lunch today and I absolutely regret it. The staff up front were super rude when taking my order and the music was obnoxiously loud so we couldn't hear one another. I ordered a grilled shrimp salad and it came out to $15.00 and there was only 3 pieces of small shrimp throughout the salad. For that price, you're better off going to sweetgreen which is a few blocks away. Was super disappointed with my salad and it tasted gross. Won't be coming back. Made the regretful mistake of coming here.

I love the greasy pizza and the french fries!! The french fries are crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Amazing! I crave their fries all the time. I know one other place where the fries are similar BUT the other place I know has an aftertaste. But I will say, I've gone to this place my whole childhood and it's on/off depending on the owner.

Really disappointed. $15 for this? Barely any steak, burnt, no flavor. Wow.Pizza is usually pretty good so I tried my chances thinking the price would reflect some quality and portion size. They gave a side salad with dressing already on it so very soggy. Just disappointing.

I ordered vanilla "gelato" from this restaurant on grubhub for $9 - one would think it'd be a some kind of scooped gelato, am I wrong? - well apparently gelato is now danish because when I opened the bag I kid you not they sent me a pint of Haagen Daz ice cream...I'm waiting for Ashton Kutcher to pop out and tell me I'm on Punk'd. SMH

This spot always serves my family and I to the most extreme level there is. I have never been disappointed and they always come prepared to amaze me with the great taste. i recommend all of there pizzas

I like the cheese pizza and wings & fries but nothing really else. I haven't tried everything but this is just based off what I had

I was a bit cautious after seeing the recent negative reviews, it isn't unheard of for a place to get a new owner and it suddenly goes massively downhill. I was hungry though and this place was only a 5 minute walk away. So decided to try calling and order a simple pizza with pineapple. It was very good!The sauce and dough was perfect.I am looking forward to trying the other food here.
