Rita's Fresh Pasta

This place is tucked away by the The Graphic apartment building on the edge of Charlestown. It's part of the Foundation Kitchen food hall and shared kitchen space, and you heard it here first, it's only a matter of time until this place blows up. It's soooo delicious I can't believe more people aren't raving about it already!!First off the the food hall itself is really cute. It's pretty cozy with a handful of tables to dine in at, several food stalls, and a bar courtesy of Fermenta where you can grab a drink from their great beer, wine, and cocktail menu while you wait for your food.Rita's is the first stall you see when you walk in the space, and the smell is so intoxicating I knew that was my choice as soon as I walked in. While we were there chatting with the staff (including Rita herself) we learned that it's a family run business, and that they had a restaurant in Rome for years before coming to the U.S.--so you know the food is going to be delicious and authentic.There's lots of pastas, pizzas, and entrees to choose from. I thought the prices were fair and the portion sizes were huuuuge, so you'll definitely walk away with leftovers. We tried the Carbonara, which rivals or even exceeds anything you'll find in the North End, and the Cappricciosa pizza which was equally delicious and pretty unique. We finished it off with two cannolis to go, and those didn't disappoint either.Highly recommend this spot for dine in or take out--I think I'll be a regular myself before long!

Located in The Graphic building in Charlestown, Rita's Fresh Pasta operates a food counter at the Foundation Kitchen food hall. They serve up a variety of pasta dishes including chicken, grilled steak, seafood, and gluten free vegetarian options, plus antipasti, salads, arancini, desserts (cannoli, tiramisu, rum cake) and cold drinks. I stopped by Rita's Fresh Pasta recently for dinner takeout. I ordered the Linguine Salmone & Vodka ($19.50 plus tax), which was cooked fresh to order in a skillet and served hot into the cardboard takeout box, which had trouble closing the tab. The good portion had a mix of firm cooked linguine and chunks of soft salmon in a creamy tomato vodka sauce, not too rich and a satisfying pasta dish and salmon. I would definitely return here to try some other pasta dishes on their menu.

I just had this beautiful Margherita Pizza- ‍‍‍listen everyone, there no need for 100 toppings. A well executed pizza with 3 toppings is way more impressive. This was amazing So delicious. Crust was perfect and the flavors were just beautiful. 10/10- The place is very cozy too- Love the simple and quiet vibe Thank you to the hands that made this masterpiece pizza! Grazie mille!!

Delicious authentic Italian food! Big portions served with love. Tiramisu was perfection. I believe Rita and family moved from Rome where they had a restaurant in Jan 2023 and started this restaurant.... definitely worth the visit!

Good GF vegan pasta; nothing special. Meatballs were great and you get two in an order with spaghetti noodles. It's $34 for two medium sized meatballs and a lot of noodles. Also tried the spinach salad with strawberries and a raspberry vinaigrette. It's solid and good. Nothing spectacular.

Rita's was a fantastic experience! Everyone was very friendly, and the bartender recommended some excellent beer selections. The staff were all very accommodating to our 8 person group. The salumi plate was filled with meats, cheese, and fig spread that were imported from Italy. I had Rita's Meatballs and pasta, and it was probably the best pasta I have ever had with freshly made noodles and house made meatballs and marinara sauce. To finish off, we had cannolis that were freshly assembled with imported shells and freshly made ricotta filling. You can definitely tell that Rita cares a lot about the food she is making. Thank you so much for a warm, friendly experience!

When Carmelina's had no available reservations we searched fresh pasta on Yelp. So thankful and no need to spend more at Carmelina's. Bolognese was amazing, rich meat Ragu flavor like we had in Italy. Ravioli was equally as amazing. Location is easy to get to by public transit. It is located in a small food hall, but they bring the food to your table. Definitely will return!

WOW!!! This place is definitely one of the best places I've been to. The service was so good. We asked about many items on the menu and the told us about them politely. The food didn't take too long and when it was ready, it came right out of the oven. The building is a bit small so there's limited seating but it had a cute, cozy building. All the food smelled so good. We got the panini and fries. They had paninis on the menu but I'm a vegetarian so I just asked to get it with cheese. They were very nice and made it. The panini is huge and is plenty for 2-3 people. Same with the fries. Location isn't too far from nearby attractions. Our food was delicious!! I included some pictures of our food with my review.

Rita personally served us and did not disappoint! Her food was absolutely delicious and I highly recommend you to try the cannolis. Please give Rita a try because you will not be disappointed!

Delicious homemade fresh pasta. Outstanding ravioli and pasta bolognese. Huge portion sizes. Even made special order of flat pasta, butter & cheese for my picky 6yo. My 12yo has asked twice to return. Wish we were a bit closer because we'd be there at least once a week.
