Yummy pizza and pasta! I remember liking their cocktails, too, but these days we mostly do takeout. The final bill always catches me surprise (do you think you're Giulia or something??), but to be fair, their portions are generous and will probably carry you for more than one meal.

A decent experience overall, but with several points that were noticeably lame. Food: got the burrata, which was noticeably cold; the prosciutto and watermelon and cheese had clearly come straight from the refrigerator. Part of what makes burrata great is its flowing texture, and this was undermined by the temperature. Also, I felt that the combination of elements just didn't work, compared to other types of melon, which are in season. Finally, it came with no bread -- which I've just never experienced when ordering burrata. We couldn't find our waiter, but a captain finally saw our pleading looks, and put in a ($4) order for bread, which turned out to be AMAZING. Why didn't our server at least ask us if we wanted bread? The brussels sprouts were fine -- crispy, definitely too hot to eat right away. The seasoning was uninteresting -- not even some paprika? The pizza was very good, though the crust was so thin and the sauce and melted cheese so wet that the center was soggy. The bolognese was the biggest hit, nothing special, but solid. Three times, we attempted to flag down our waiter, or any waiter, and struggled to make contact. The house was probably 1/3 full.

I went here yesterday which was a Monday around 5:20pm for Happy Hour with a friend who used to live in Italy and missed the experience of Aperitivo and we were happy to find a place that didn't involve going downtown during rush hour.Their Happy Hour Menu is $18 for an appetizer, pizza and a dessert which is a pretty good deal, drinks are separate. When we got here it was empty but all tables were occupied when we left around 2 hrs later. We sat by the bar where the bartender took good care of us and we watched his creations. For drinks I got the Downeast Guava & Passionfruit and my friend got the Downeast Peach & Mango which seemed fitting to have with pizza. The bartender overheard my friend telling me about Amaro explaining the notes of it to me as I've never heard/tried it before and he gave me a sample to try which was really nice of him. For food I got the arugula salad which was good, the Pepperoni pizza which to my surprise was a 12inch pizza, I was only able to eat half and took the rest home and for dessert a tiramisu which was one of the best I've had in Boston and I think it's the perfect sized slice. I also ordered a rigatoni to go (forgot to take a photo) which was ready very quickly and it was a good serving. When I got home I tasted some and it was really good, mushroom with every bite.My friend ordered the arancini, the mushroom pizza which I tried and was really good- I'd recommend it for mushroom lovers and she got a tiramisu as well.As mentioned in another reviewer's post, the dough for the pizza is on the soft doughy side which I didn't mind, I liked it but I could see how this would be worth mentioning for those that are particular about pizza dough. Another reviewer also mentioned the lack of salt in the dishes but I didn't have that experience.I look forward to coming here again.

Posto is a cute little pizza/italian restaurant in Somerville right after Davis Square. Parking was a nightmare but we got one closer towards the square. Service was slow, but it may have been because there were 3. Plates on the table were chipped and silverware was somewhat clean. Food was the best part for sure, eggplant pizza with onions were delicious along with their rigatoni. Enough for 3 people for sure.

Have walked by this restaurant many times and finally had the opportunity to try it. It was a Friday night. We were able to find both street and walk right in and be seated. The host staff was very friendlyWe were in a little bit of a rush, but our waitress was accommodating and friendly. The ambiance was nice, clean, and stylish. The food arrived at the perfect temperature and was very flavorful. I would have never put goat cheese with Brussel sprouts, but now I will be doing that at home. Overall, we were very pleased with our service, food and experience

Came here for some pre-Marathon carbs and it was a great meal! My partner and I ordered their Spring Salad, a mushroom & truffle pasta and a meat lovers pizza. Everything was delicious but our favorite was the pasta. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the sauce wasn't overly rich - it was just right. Their pizza was Neapolitan style and had great flavor and the crust was done perfectly.Made reservations for a Sunday night and they were pretty busy! Service was good and quick despite the business. Worth stopping by if you're in Cambridge!

This spot hits every time! I always take advantage of their Happy Hour menu because you get an appetizer, pizza, and dessert for less than $20 a person. I never had a problem with being seated, but I would usually get there right when it opens. I have tried many different items on their menu and it's so yummy each time. Definitely recommend!

First meal in Boston, we decided to try Posto in Somerville. My brother read somewhere that it was considered one of the top 50 pizzas in the world. No idea where this was seen. The lady serving us was great. No issues with the service for us.The ambiance was good. The lights were low. Fire from pizza oven was going which also helped.I had the LIMONATA (Pomegranate, Lemon, and Bubbles) which was delicious. My brother and sister had the Raspberry Spritz - (raspberry & basil, lime, with ginger beer) they stated it was great as well.Me and my sister both had the Gnocchi - (braised beef short rib, red wine sauce, Parmesan crema). The meat were small chunks. The Gnocchi itself was the best thing about the dish. There was something crunchy inside the dish which was most likely tiny diced carrots or celery were guessing. Probably good to have change in consistency to avoid everything from having a soft texture. It was OK, if I had to go back I would not get it again. My sister agreed.I believe my brother had the Meatball Red Pizza - (beef, pork, veal, mozzarella, Asiago, Parmesan, oregano, and garlic). He stated the pizza was ok, but he had better at various places. I would recommend to possibly try another place instead. Maybe expectations were too high.

Posto was great! Our server wasn't very attentive/friendly at first but over the course of our dinner she became a lot more friendly! Everything was absolutely delicious, especially the eggplant pizza with ricotta. We also got the brussel sprouts with whipped goat cheese as an app and it was so good. Was a little on the expensive side but worth it!
