Super tasty! I was really impressed with this place. The pickled vegetable noodle soup and spicy boiled fish were delicious, portions here are super generous and they put a great amount of beef on top. I can't wait to go back definitely worth it

So much food and SUCH A REASONABLE PRICE. We also got the lemongrass fried chicken and popcorn chicken, which we thought were gonna be appetizer amounts, but turned out to be so much food. I would highly recommend if you are close by

I came here with my family and we ordered a small tomato fish and a large Chinese sauerkraut fish to share. We really enjoyed both dishes and both tasted really authentic and flavorful with very tender fish. The tomato fish was on the sweeter side, very similar to tomato hot pot broths. The Chinese sauerkraut was our favorite and it was a yummy blend sour, spicy, and savory. It was a good amount of spicy for me, but it definitely builds as you eat more. My sister also ordered the pudding and red bean milk tea. Surprisingly, it was really good and not too sweet.

My friend recommended this place after having recently tried it themselves. All seats were available on a Monday afternoon. There were a handful of tables to pick from which wasn't a problem as they are also ideal for takeout. For appetizers we got their scallion pancakes and lemon pepper wings. Pancakes were chewy and only slightly oily. Their wings were crisp and moist, delicious! Soup wise we tried their N4 Tomato noodle soup (LG), N3 Chinese sauerkraut noodle soup, and hot & sour soup. In terms of my favorite flavors, I preferred souerkraut, then tomato beef, and lastly the hot & sour. All were tasty but I preferred the brininess of that broth better. The menu was rather confusing but we were quick to find out that the large premade bowl is in fact enough to easily feed 3 people with two portions of white rice on the side. If you want noodles they have to be added if it's one of the premade soups as opposed to the build your own ones. But both soup options come with lettuce and a few quail eggs. Spiciness varied considerably based on the side and batch that day as a warning. But I like spicy so I didn't mind. Server didn't seem to understand fully what we would ask at times, however he was quick to explain when he could. Would come again and recommend others to check them out!

Mr Fish & Noodle House replaces OnePot in Malden, MA. The restaurant specializes in fish soups and fish noodle soup. You have a variety of broth to try and of course, fish is not the only option for protein. My family came here for dinner. Street parking in the area is very limited as it is a mix of residential and businesses but more residential. The restaurant is very clean and brightly lit. I must say, the menu is very straight forward. Appetizers, either soup or noodle soup with add ons if you so chooses, and a short drink menu. Only one tricky part to the menu was item F5 which had no English translation. When I asked the waitress the difference between F1 and F5, I was told it was the vegetables used in the soup, I can't recall. For appetizers, we ordered the takoyaki, the popcorn chicken, and the fried buns. The takoyaki was deep fried, and then topped with bonito flakes, and drizzled with Japanese mayo and takoyaki sauce. It had a goey centered with bits of octopus inside each one. This item is always popular with my kids. Another favorite for my kids is the fried bun appetizer which came with condensed milk for dipping. This is a sweet appetizer. I like to save it for dessert but it can be eaten before hand. The popcorn chicken is coated with a salty curry spice batter. I enjoyed this appetizer the most and would order it again as the chicken meat was tender and juicy on the inside, while the outside was crispy. There is bits of salted fried basil leaves and green onions and chili peppers. I couldn't help pick but picked on these as I waited for the rest of the meal. I ordered the F1 Mao Xue Wang with extra grass carp fish fillets while my husband ordered the tomato noodle soup with added slice fish. Expect fish bones. I recommend asking for hot chili oil if you like your broth extra spicy. When asked, we were given peppercorn oil. In my opinion, it made my soup dish so much better in terms of both flavor and heat. My soup came with a bowl of rice. I couldn't finish the regular size by myself so I took it to go. The larger size is meant for sharing with maybe a group of four. As for my husband's tomato noodle soup, it would have been too plain if he didn't add a bit of chili oil to change the flavor profile as well. I will definitely be back to try the other flavors though my favorite tends to be the spicy chili ones. For drinks, we tried the taro and boba milk tea and the mango pomelo smoothie. If I had to pick between the two, I would say go for the mango pomelo smoothie. The taro and boba tea was good as well but the taro paste can make the drink dense and starchy as well. The restaurant was empty when we came. Service was overall very good. A larger party came in while we dined. I hope the restaurant does well but the location is very tough as it's not in the heart of Malden center but rather outskirts.

Very tasty and loaded up with fish! The fish was perfectly cooked, not overcooked and not fishy at all. The flavor of the broth and pickled mustard greens were delicious. My mom had the sliced fish in tomato soup for a healthier option. It was also very good and perfect for those who don't like too much salt. The fried buns/mantou and Taiwanese popcorn chicken were great appetizers. Both done really well. The location is difficult to find parking since the street parking is small/limited. The restaurant is a little small, with the only bathroom being in the kitchen toward the back.

New restaurant is squeaky clean and bright, very different from previous establishment. Ordering is simple - you can scan menu on table or a staff would help you. Don't know which broth is good ? I would suggest ordering from the noodle section. You can choose a protein - fish, brisket, sausage, fatty beef, or pork. All noodle soup came with one quail egg, very generous portion of noodles, corns, dried/fried tofu, ham, veggies. The spicy fish noodle soup was so good! It reminded me of the mala fish dish from Dumpling House in Chinatown. The sauerkraut noodle soup was definitely the popular choice and recommended by the staff. No chili oil floating on top of the soup but beware, it was mildly spiced. Nothing special to the original noodle soup, just salty but my kid didn't mind.A reminder to specify the size of your beverage. Otherwise the staff will ring up the large cup (extra $1). Holy they have the mango grapefruit smoothie!! Nice balance of sweet and tartness. One minor complaint was i tasted part of the membrane of the fruit. They definitely fed us well. We were able to pack all to go. Roughly $25 per person with one noodle soup and drink. I would go back but this time I will know to order one large meal with noodle or rice as add ons. Cost will be cheaper this way now I know which broth I would re order. Parking is nearly impossible since all side streets are residential. Only a handful of spots near the restaurant. Didn't notice a restroom but probably need to go near the kitchen area?

This place is so good. I ordered the fish in a pickled canbage broth on a rainy day and it was warm and comforting--taste like what my parents made me growing up. My bf ordered the spicy beef broth and that was very flavorful. We would come here again.
