DO NOT ORDER FOOD HERE!!!!! WORST PLACE EVERI have been here to eat food and the service is terrible but at least they give you the food you pay for. Several times I have ordered from ubereats and they don't make my food. The driver shows up there's no food and they leave them a new driver comes. Then when you call they act like they don't know what's going on and you get charged for the food.Today I went in to pickup food myself because I thought it would avoid that issue. I show up at 2:55 ten minutes after I order. It's 30 minutes then 45 minutes that go by and the workers say it's not ready and ignore me. Then 3:47 I get a notification that they told Uber i picked up my food. They told me someone took my food. I asked them to remake it several times and they refused and kept being like no it's because someone took your food. This place is clearly running a scam through ubereats where they purposely don't make your food then let you get charged for it. The fact that after they said "someone took my order" they refused to remake my order. The employees here are scumbags and it's disgusting that they haven't been caught for doing this. I wasn't sure if it was an issue of the drivers or just being late that my food never delivered but after doing a pickup order I realized these people are scumbags and purposely do not make your order and lie and say someone took it then refuse to remake your food. Attached are photos of google reviews that refer to the restaurants shady practices. These aren't "mistakes" they are purposely scamming customers and ubereats will not let customers get their money back.

I've been wanting to visit this restaurant since it's close to my work but mostly since it's open till 4 a.m.! Now that's something you don't see in Boston. There are pros about this place, and there are cons. I'll start with the pros. I tried the egg drop soup, first time I ever had it, and it was delicious. Plus, it was cold and my stomach was upset earlier so it helped settle it down. The egg rolls were delicious (though, they were missing sauce). I asked for sweet and sour sauce to go with, and once it was brought out, I tried it and it was great. The pork fried rice was enormous. It was like a Halloween candy's bag worth. I thought I wasn't going to enjoy it but was much better than I thought - the peas, little bits of pork, sprouts, and veggies made it taste great. The soy sauce they gave was perfect in pairing, and I'm selective on soy sauce - not too salty, and perfectly savory. The bad: crab rangoons were not flattering. The filling was skimpy, and didn't taste any crab. In a way it didn't matter the size of the filling since the cream cheese was bad. It's almost as if dried up cream cheese and tofu merged - not flavorful and did taste good; definite pass. Yet; crab rangoons are not an authentic Chinese dish so I can't full blame them (I think the restaurant would be better off in simply not having them. The chicken was blah. The sauce on it was decent, the peppers were good, but it was mushy sparse chicken overly coated in deep fried batter. One thing to be most careful for is price gouging - initially I asked for water, then later a Coke. The woman said aloud "1 water, 1 coke". She brought a bottle of water. I've never had bottled water brought at a restaurant where you dine at the tables. I asked for tap water instead, and she brought it out. So, be careful. If she said "1 bottled water...." I would have corrected her on the spot.I was going to give the place 4 stars, as some menu items were great, but what totally took off a star was on the check (all of the left side in chinese which I don't know how to read) I was looking at the itemized costs. I initially was writing a tip amount of $10, then saw a line that read "$10" on the written receipt.I asked the lady "What's the $10?" She said TIP. I couldn't believe it. I was dining just by myself, my total, with tax came to about $50 and didn't even know it's legal for a restaurant to add a tip on your behalf. I wasn't notified ahead of time, definitely am not a party of 6+ people, and the boldness of when I saw a standard tip line.I know the saying "Don't tip on tax" but never mind "Don't tip on a pre-set tip!" Ridiculous.

First off, props to you, New Moon Villa, for serving food in the early morning hours. After arriving at a hotel after midnight, I placed a DoorDash order with New Moon Villa for Salt and Pepper Squid. What showed up was absolutely incredible. Lightly fried crispy squid, on a bed of cabbage with jalapeños. A 5/5 at any hour.Enamored with New Moon Villa, the next day I ordered a late night snack of Crab Rangoons. Oh my goodness, these were terrible. The Rangoons were huge and drenched in oil. Could not taste anything but oil. A 1/5 would be generous.I definitely recommend the Salt and Pepper Squid! But not sure I can recommend going deeper into their menu.

Love that they're open late night. The garlic noodles were great, full of flavor and the best dish we got. The shrimp friend rice was bland and was more like shrimp and veggies in a white rice. General Gaos chicken was good, and had good flavor, came with broccoli. We also had the wontons, and they were ok. Lacked on flavor a bit, but they did have good amount of stuffing with the cream cheese.

the service here was terrible. I was stuck in south station after missing a train and couldn't leave until morning, so I decided to get something to eat and stay warm at one of the few places in boston open in the middle of the night. Their menu is quite expensive and there are no affordable options other than white rice and a few fountain drinks. I ordered just white rice and tea which added up to $7.50. The person who served me kept switching between hovering over me and watching me from across the restaurant. the server was much friendlier towards the only other pair of people seated in the restaurant than they were to me. after being seated for only about 10 minutes, they brought out the check and demanded that I pay a $2 tip, none of which was mentioned anywhere in the menu they brought out or in their website. the server would not leave my table until I gave them that tip, which was not at all deserved. they treated me like I was a squatter instead of treating me with respect.

This place is just okay. They charge way too much money for semi decent Chinese food. I was disappointed on my last visit when I sat in the restaurant for over an hour waiting for them to serve me. It was really busy so I could see they were overwhelmed. I had ordered 2 items lobster and an eel and my bill was $180. I did contest my bill politely saying for 1 person this is too much money. I've gone to fine dining asian restaurants where they don't even charge more than 40-45 for an expensive item.Do yourself a favor and make sure you keep tabs on what you order, especially if it says "market price". Sorry new moon but you lost a polite and loyal customer.

What's open after 2am? MOON VILLA! We were going to Peach Farm and noticed that lots of people were going into this spot. We sat down and ordered and the food immediately showed up. Woo!!We got crab rangoons, spareribs, chicken fried rice and Singapore noodles. The noodles were really good! Lots of shrimp which was a surprise. The rest of the food was kinda blah but I'll take anything I can get after drinking all night. I highly recommend this place after clubbing. I will never visit during normal hours but I'll be back in the wee hours of the night.

DO NOT GO HERE, place was an absolute dump, food was cold and tasteless. A few more of my friends walked in and they asked for them to prepay for their meal which I found quite rude, when they disagreed they had called the cops to deal with them. The ambience of this place just screams I don't care and I want to work in filth. Scam restaurant just another worthless money laundering business.

Just ordered this off Uber eats for like $75. Crab Rangoon tasteless with 0 flavor of even imitation crab. General Gau chicken is a sauce I've never had and tastes like melted plastic. I get the idea of late night quality. But shit, I shouldn't have to worry about whether I get food poisoning.
