Heard good things about Mike's from a coworker and made it a point to swing by at some point to grab a cannoli. I didn't really have a preference for flavor so I just asked them what their most popular ones were. I ended up getting the pistachio cannoli and had the powdered sugar added on top. It met my expectations but didn't blow me away like I thought it would-- still good though and would recommend! The store was pretty empty when I arrived, there were a few people standing inside still deciding what to get. The staff was very quick and I was in and out quickly.

I had heard so many good things about Mike's Pastry and for good reason! My boyfriend and I stopped by as we were wandering Harvard Square and wanted a quick bite to eat. It was fairly empty in the early afternoon when we arrived. We got a Plain Cannoli and a Chocolate Chip Scone. The scone was honestly disappointing. I know scones are typically a bit drier than other pastries, but this was one very dry and lacked flavor. However, the cannoli was exceptional. I love cannolis and this was probably the best I've had. The filling is thick, creamy, and very ricotta-forward while the shell was crispy and crackly. I definitely want to go back to try their other cannoli flavors.

If you're a tourist of Boston, you know Mike's and Modern are on the list of must try's for cannolis. We swung by on a Thursday afternoon and picked up a pistachio and buttercream cannoli. The filling was good, not overly sweet, the shell was softer than I expected it to be, and I was stunned they charge $7 per cannoli. Was it worth it? Absolutely not.

Came here after dinner and heard a lot about Mike's Pastry being a go-to for cannoli - something I had never legitimately had before. The inside is bright, white, and inviting. Hanging above the huge display cases of cookies, pastries, and sweets are giant ball-shaped string holders in which the workers use to tie up your goodies in a neat little box. We ordered: - Chocolate chip cannoli - this was SO good. You get the option to dust powdered sugar on it and that is a must! Crispy buttery thick shell and smooth thick mascarpone cream. The chocolate chips at each end add another layer of yummy crunch. - Ricotta pie slice - we ate this the next day and it was like a lighter cheesecake. Very delicious and highly vouch for this one.Definitely recommend eating the cannoli FRESH to maintain the crispiness of the shell.

The best cannoli's, especially the espresso one. Worth the wait when there is a line.

So disappointing! The pizzelles were soggy. Went into ask about it. The employee took a piece, broke it in half and said, "That's how it is ."The other employee said, "It's not 'crazy' crispy." Oh boy, so we threw them away. Be careful. The customer and pastry turn over is probably not "crazy" busy like the one on Hanover Street. Guess we were "crazy" to consider going into a shop that has no customers.

The ricotta filling of the cannoli tastes plasticky at the ends, like it's been stored in plastic wrap. It tastes perfect once you get past the surface parts, but that does mean you can't get a non-plasticky bite with chocolate chips. Still, I have to get Mike's chocolate covered cannoli when I'm in the area for nostalgia reasons, and the chocolate ratio. The "rainbow layer" is much more cake-like than the usual rainbow cookie, so maybe that's why they call it a "rainbow layer" instead. All the flavors are there--almond, jam, chocolate--but it's not as dense as I would like. Good but not my favorite rainbow cookie form!Super convenient opening hours!

Mike's Pastry is an iconic bakery originating out of Boston's North End neighborhood. They offer a variety of cookies and other baked goods, but they are especially known for their extensive selection cannoli. Mike's of course has the classic plain ricotta, but they also sell more unique cannoli such as amaretto, limoncello, and hazelnut. Moreover, there are some newer flavors such as pecan caramel, peanut butter, and mint chip. There is something for everyone. This Cambridge location is fairly new, but their baked goods are of the same high quality as the original location, but with slightly less inventory and without the obscenely long lines. My wife and I got some cannoli for breakfast and some cookies for the flight back home. They pipped our cannoli fresh. Not sure if that's a regular occurrence at this location, or if it's because I arrived close to opening. Regardless, it was delicious and our family/friends loved the cookies.
