Delicious, innovative Thai food in a hip, vibey dining room. We came here as a party of 3 at noon on a Saturday and were seated at the bar with no wait. The service was top-notch, with prompt fillings of our waters and a good amount of non-intrusive check-ins.Of what we got:Pad thai - although a common item, Mahaniyom does it better. This dish was the perfect amount of sweet but not too oily, and the raw bean sprouts added a refreshing crunch on the side to complement the otherwise smooth and flavorful bites.Crab curry special - absolutely delicious. We ate this dish by mixing thin vermicelli noodles in a bowl of curry with crab meat. There was a good amount of crab in the dish, and the rich, savory flavors matched the rich, creamy texture.Grilled squid special - not extra special in flavors, but done right. This dish is a whole grilled squid cut into rings, with a light, sour side sauce for dipping. Although not as overly flavorful from sauces as the other dishes we got, it was definitely cooked and seasoned well and I liked the chewy texture and focus on the squid's natural flavors.Overall, I would definitely visit again. The flavors, presentation, reasonable pricing, vibey interior, and excellent service were all top notch. This might be one of my new favorite restaurants in Brookline!

We stumbled in here on a Sunday brunch time. The portions were a little smaller/tapas style but they were packed with flavor and the 3 dishes that we got filled my husband and I up. Our favorite dish was the rambutan salad which was nice balance of sweet, salty, and acidity. We went around beginning of September so I think this dish was seasonal. Pad thai and beef massaman were also flavorful. We got a side roti to dip the curry but it ended up being a little too much carbs for us.The space is small and we ended up sitting on a counter with our seats facing the window with a nice view of people watching. The place seems good for couples or a small group(like 4) to share the dishes together.

Met up with one of my friends here for lunch on a holiday, and I'm so glad we landed on this spot because the food was truly delicious. Love that the plates were mostly smaller bites, so we could order a variety of things to share. I was surprised at how small the restaurant was, but it was still fairly lively when we went. They definitely have their more well-known traditional fair like Pad Thai, but we opted for other menu items like Salt & Pepper Pork Cheek, Massaman Curry, and the Chicken Ka Praw. I really liked the pork cheek -- it was simple but packed with flavor and paired well with the rice. I also really liked the Massaman curry, which was spicier than I was expecting, and the roti that it came with. Service was great throughout the duration of our meal. They also brought out one additional non-menu dish for us to try -- this pepper soaked in curry. It was a small bite, but incredibly flavorful.

Upscale Thai restaurant in Brookline Village. It's a little pricier than your regular mom and pop neighborhood Thai place, but it offers a nice vibey scene and some outstanding dishes. My favorite is the sweet and tangy rambutan salad, which pairs really nicely with the Larb Gai (ground chicken dish). The chive cakes are also very good- crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. The shrimp pad Thai is more dressed up than most other Thai restaurants, and less sweet. Servers are friendly and accommodating.

I'm sure we've all tried Thai food and if you haven't, grow up. This place kicks it up a notch. Familiar faces, exceptional cocktails, and the whole Thai tapas concept really brings one back to throwing back a few beers on the beach in Koh Phi Phi. We asked for recommendations for food and surely, they delivered. The dimly lit space makes for speakeasy ambience and let's just say, 10/10 on all fronts.

Came here on a Thursday night at 7, didn't have to wait because they had some window stools available so that was a plus. It's definitely a small place so recommendations are the way to go. Parking was not difficult to find on nearby streets, and it wasn't as crowded as I expected. Service was fine, nothing special and we could have used a bit more checking in. Food itself was definitely nothing to write home about imo, which I was disappointed by since I was looking forward to it. We got the chive cakes, eggplant dip and pad thai. The chive cakes were fine but a bit on the oily side. The eggplant dip was heavy on the fish sauce and the pad thai as well. Overall, food was fine, ambience was fine, but not worth the price.

I've been meaning to try this place for a long time and finally was in the area on a random Friday early evening. Inside the place is small, not that many seats. But since we were early, we were seated right away at the bar. The staff is very nice and helpful. Their menu is tapas style but the serves are helpful in giving you an idea of how many plates/how big the plates are. I ordered the beef panang which comes with rice and my friend ordered bbq pork. The food was very flavourful, the panang curry definitely satisfied all the Thai cravings. 10/10 will be back!

I can't count the number of times I've been here, the only thing I remember is how amazing all of the food is. I could pick items off the menu with a blindfold and I'm confident that I would enjoy each of the dishes. The seasonal salad is always refreshing and a great way to kick off the meal. The fried chicken is always crispy, juicy, and flavorful. The drinks here are amazing. Their cocktails aren't too strong and the Cafe Thai is one of my favorites. I highly recommend making a reservation for a date or a small group.

This is probably my favorite Thai restaurant in the Boston area! Food : 9/10I have tried almost everything on the menu for the number of times I frequent this place. Every single dish has a rich flavor. A few of my usual dishes are the grilled flying squid (it's their one of their specials but I have had it like 3 times now this summer), pad thai, pad paa and any type of pork belly dishes. Their curry is very nice too if you'd like to try that. I am attaching a few dishes from our latest visit here.Service: 9/10They are always super nice pay great attention to their guests. One caveat though is that I always come around 12:45pm on a weekend for lunch, so that maybe different from your experience on a busy Friday night.Nevertheless, our water is always filled, we never had to flag anyone down too hard, and food came out pretty quickly.Ambience & Location: 8/10It is a casual small place for a tight group of friends or small family. They don't have a lot of room in the dining area. Still, I like the vibe here for a weekend lunch. It's not too fancy, too quiet or too loud.The area is walkable, and close to other businesses and shops. If you come by car you may need to find street parking on one of the smaller side roads.Overall, I of course highly recommend. I am a regular here, and I am quite happy to support a local place like this!

Friendly service, inviting atmosphere and delicious food and drinks. Highly recommend the chicken skin as an app. Great size and shareable for two. Pad Thai and drinks were also good. Love how saucy the Pad Thai. Recommend making reservations ahead of time!
